Great private place that offers everything you want for a weekend getaway! Host was very helpful and responded within minutes to all our questions. Highly recommended!

Our family group, 4 adults and 1 seven-year-old child, stayed for six nights in July at Serene Lakefront Haven in Val-des-Monts, Quebec. We were looking for a well-equipped home by a beautiful, quiet swimmable lake not too far from our own home in Ottawa. Nadine's place was perfect for us. The lake was surrounded by tall trees and not very deep, which was excellent for our young swimmer. Motor boats were not allowed on it, so peace reigned day and night, and a number of boats were available for us to use. Everybody, young and old (from 7 to 74) enjoyed the lake. Outside there was also a trampoline! The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to prepare our meals. In addition, there were games and toys for all ages, and the television came with Netflix, Disney Plus, and a variety of DVDs. The house was clean when we arrived and the house manual provided accurate, useful information. Nadine answered all questions promptly and thoroughly. Five stars --- well-deserved!

We had a wonderful stay over Thanksgiving weekend at this beautiful, cozy, and private home. The rustic farmhouse feel made it the perfect place to relax. We especially loved having access to the many kayaks and canoes, which added to the overall experience. Julie was incredibly quick to respond to our messages and very accommodating when we ran into some minor issues. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we would definitely come back again!

Third stay at Butternut Bay, and it truly does feel like a home away from home. We have such special family memories because of Butternut Bay and its owner, first Jeanne, and now Meagan who is continuing her legacy--and it really does feel like that. Meagan cares that your time at Butternut is one you will remember. We thoroughly enjoyed her sharing of the St Lawrence Seaway map online, so we were able to track and learn more about the ships that were passing, day and night! Looking forward to our next stay, and more amazing family moments. Thank you Meagan!

The space was absolutely perfect. Beautiful kitchen, nice updated bathrooms and lots of space to sleep. Everything you need for a group. He was so quick at getting back to me, it was great! I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

We had a great time at Andrew’s cottage. The place is lovely and super clean. Andrew’s instructions to reach the cottage were very useful and clear. We spent all the daylight hours in the backyard by the river - what an amazing space - so many different options for just sitting around!! My whole family loved kayaking in the river (current is not strong) - kayaks, paddles and life jackets (even kids size) were provided. Our 5 year old loved the trampoline. Sunsets were spectacular. The cottage itself is super comfortable, very clean, comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. The living area has a large picture window - perfect to sit by, sip a hot drink and watch the geese on the river when it is still cold to be outside. Overall great stay and would love to come back for a longer duration.

Jane’s cabin was perfect for our family getaway! We enjoyed the view of the water and taking long dog walks in the bush. Sitting in front of the log fire with my coffee was my favourite thing. Jane was very responsive and helpful letting us check in early. We highly recommend Jane’s cabin. We had a fabulous stay.

Randa Catherine's apartment is in a great part of town, within easy walking distance of restaurants and shops. Very clear instructions, would recommend for a short stay.

Jeremy's place is a perfect spot for a getaway. Clean, private, quiet and a great location. We look forward to returning in the summer to have some fun on the water. I would absolutely recommend this stay to anyone, check out a show at the Neat Cafe just a short walk away.

we spent a fantastic few days at J's. the place is a gem. clean, peaceful, very comfortable with all the amenities that come with resort living. J has also been a gracious host, super helpful with answers which made our stay stress free. our family enjoyed dinner out on the patio, fishing and conversations near the dock, fun games and movies at the rec center, a couple of tennis games at a nearby tennis club(need to sign out the tag from the golf clubhouse) and the beautiful evergreen golf course. we would not hesitate to go back next year! thank you J so much for hosting us.

This is a beautiful, hidden gem in the Village of Waddington, NY. The apartment has a beautiful view of the St. Lawrence River a gorgeous patio and access to the river. It is beautifully decorated, everything inside is new, we felt we were the first to visit! Finally I can't say enough great things about our hostess, Michele, she made our stay very comfortable! Thank you, we'll be back!

amazing place phenomenal neighbourhood so many good food places and bars and Tim Hortons all in the are close by can't recommend the district deli enough the place is on Carruthers on the corner of the road we stopped once more on our way out amazing host super responsive clean place definately recommend

The house is outstanding. Everything you need for a perfect stay. Beds are very comfortable and we all slept well. Kitchen fully equipped. Super clean and beautifully decorated. The views are incredible. Hosts were very responsive plus gave us tips of places to eat and told us things that are going on in the area. Super friendly. We will definitely be back to stay again. Highly recommend you visit. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Great for visitors who are hiking in Frontenac Park. There’s a downstairs area to leave coats and hiking boots. Upstairs, the loft is spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped, which was important for me as I have dietary intolerances and have to cook most of my own meals. The bathroom is large and features a bath which is nice for soaking tired muscles. The sitting room has a large sofa, which is great for lounging on, as well as other comfy armchairs. It makes for a very relaxing stay.

Notre séjour as été confortable et reposant. Les lits étaient très confortable, les lieux étaient très propres et l'hôte était réactive rapidement. Nous avons vécu un incident lors de notre départ car notre voiture ne démarrait pas. Anik nous as rassurer que nous pouvions demeurer à l'interieur au chaud en attendant de l'aide. Merci Anik!

Lauren's place was great. A lovely getaway spot for rest and relaxing. The lake view was beautiful where we enjoyed morning coffee, and had a relaxing time away. Clean, and comfortable. We made some lovely memories at your cottage. Thank you!

Had an awesome stay! The place was clean, quiet, and super comfortable—perfect for families. Even though there was a designated workstation in one of the bedrooms, we ended up working at the dining room table instead—the view and vibe were just too good to pass up. We spent most of our time there eating, chatting, and playing board games, which made the stay even more special. We even spotted some snowmobilers and a coyote out on the ice—such a cool experience! Kelly was amazing—super responsive and accommodating, making everything easy. Would highly recommend this place for a peaceful getaway and would definitely stay again!

An amazing place to unwind next to the lake and listen to the Loons in the evening. Erika went out of her way to accommodate our very last minute reservation and was extremely friendly and helpful throughout the process. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Kim and Scott’s place was very charming and a great spot for our two families to stay for the weekend. Our kids loved the bunkbeds and the play structure and swings outside. We found the kitchen well stocked and the hot-tub was enjoyed by all of us!

We really enjoyed our stay at the cozy home on this river for Christmas. With my in-laws now living in the retirement manor minutes away in Campbell’s Bay, this was a great place to be together and share meals for the holidays. The kitchen was clean & well-equipped and the living & dining rooms were comfortable. We appreciated that the wood pile was well-stocked and the fireplace kept the living room cozy (it was -18 outside the first 2 days there!) The bedrooms were good too. We really enjoyed how peaceful the views of the river were - especially golden hour before sunset! Thank you Josh & Lee for the great stay. We recommend this cottage and hope to return one day!

Our group of 10 had a wonderful stay at Glenn's beautiful cottages. We were able to sleep 5 in each cottage with plenty of beds to spare. We enjoyed canoeing, swimming in the lake, grilling on the barbecue, and staying in playing board games when it rained. It would have been nice to have the hot tubs active during the rain, but we made do with the indoor jacuzzi tub! Glenn was super helpful, informative, and responsive which we all appreciated. And we loved that this was one of the only places around with a large enough kitchen table to seat everyone for a meal! Overall a very pleasant stay, highly recommended.

Beautiful peaceful stay as always, we will be back maybe in the summer next time! but we enjoy the fireplace, outdoor firepit and hot tub in the winter. thank you!
