Great view of San Juan del sur. Gadi and the rest of the staff were very nice, friendly and will you feel right home. The breakfast was delicious. The location is about a 10 minute walk to downtown. Walking back can be a challenge for some people as the road is steep. Recommend car or taxi. Other than that everything was great no complaints.

Amazing place highly recommend it

Michael's place was perfect for myself and my family. The house was absolutely gorgoeous, and the view was incredible! Michael was extremely friendly and helpful, providing many helpful local recommdations for activities and transportation. Highly recommend Michael's place if you are visiting San Juan area.

This was by far the best Airbnb experience I’v ever had. I came down to SJDS for a month to work remote, and La Casa de Castro was the perfect spot for me to stay. The room was comfortable, exactly as pictured/described and with a private bathroom. The courtyard area was a great place to do work, and the WiFi is generally very good for everything from video calls to streaming. The family is absolutely wonderful, some of the nicest and most genuine people I’ve ever met. They welcomed me in like family, and were always responsive/helpful when I needed anything. Overall just a great vibe — family members and friends hanging out in the courtyard, children, animals (make sure you play with Paco, he’s the funniest dog I’ve met) and other travelers, all right there in the downtown. Can’t recommend this place highly enough, thank you all so much for everything!!

Villa Arcadia is absolutely stunning. The pictures don’t do it justice. Michael and Haly were great hosts. Their space is scenic, peaceful and relaxing. You are walking distance from cafes, restaurants and nightlife but far enough up the hill to avoid the noise. The views are breathtaking from this tropical hillside oasis .

Beautiful house (photos are very accurate) with great views! Outdoor tub was lovely but it was so warm we barely used it. Breakfast also delicious and pool is lovely! Note the road is definitely steeper than we could have imagined (and we’re from San Francisco!) so I have to emphasize that you will not be walking to/from town and definitely recommend a car. The host is easy to message if you have any issues but download a map before and have plans ready as there isn’t a lot of info available on site. Enjoy!

Hay concordancia entre precio y calidad. Don Mario, el padre de Aquiles estuvo anuente a evacuar consultas y dar orientación. El tema del agua es complejo en Altagracia y no exclusivo del hospedaje, por eso hacer conciencia de NO desperdiciar el agua. Don Mario muy sutilmente nos puso al tanto y de nuestra parte, velar por el ahorro del líquido. Las hamacas, les sacamos provecho.

It's a beautiful property just outside of San Juan. We were able to get to the property easily by taxi, the entrance is a little hard to find in the dark but once we knew where it was, we were fine. a lot of our taxi drivers knew where to go. The room, food and view were amazing. I would highly recommend staying here especially if youre looking for a place to relax and do some yoga.

We stayed at Eden and it was amazing. We had a great time with the owners. The place is so relaxed. We read a book in a hammock, met other nice travellers. We ate amazing healthy food. And we had a nice day trip to San Juan del Sur to walk around in the small town and a day trip to the surfbeach Playa Maderas. The communication was clear and fast. Thanks!

Marvelous place full of personal touch. Excellent kitchen. Super bungalows in quiet environment, still close to San Juan del Sur and the surrounding beaches and activities. We will definitely come back.

Most affordable way to surf the awesome waves of Playa Colorados. Located next to a great pizza place and the bikes made getting around Iguana a breeze. Would definitely stay again!

Wir waren hier für unsere letzten Tage in Nicaragua. Die Unterkunft war einfach ein Träumchen. Wir wurden herzlichst von Mary-Jane und ihrem Mann Gianmaria begrüßt. Schon die Kommunikation im Voraus war sehr gut. Das Zimmer ist schön groß,mit angrenzendem Bad und ein wirklich sehr bequemes Bett. Der Außenbereich mit Pool ist auch ein wunderschöner Relaxbereich , man ist zwar Mitten in San Juan del Sur aber mit dem schönen Garten fühlt man sich sehr abgeschieden und kann toll relaxen. Mary-Jane und ihr Mann hatten auch super Restaurant-Tips die wir ausprobiert haben und alle waren sehr lecker. Frühstück wurde von Mary-Jane persönlich gemacht und besser konnten wir es nicht haben! Wir haben uns dort sehr sehr wohlgefühlt und uns kam es eher so vor als wären wir bei guten Freunden zu Besuch. Zu erwähnen wären auch noch die Tiere. Die Hunde Dobie,Lily,Rio,Sky und Mayo haben wir gleich ins Herz geschlossen sowie die Katzen. Sollte man nicht Tier vernarrt sein,wird darauf geachtet! Ein Traum

Die Unterkunft ist einfach nur toll. Einen riesen Garten, wo man verweilen kann, einen Pool & kleine aber tolle Zimmer. Cynthia ist immer offen für Fragen & Anliegen, wie auch reagiert sehr schnell. Ihre Mutter ist sooo lieb und hilfsbereit, gibt Tipps für Aktivitäten und ist immer bereit für einen Schwatz. Auch anderen Mitarbeiter sind super. Das Frühstück ist auch toll (gibts zwischen 08.00-10.00). Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen. Vielen Dank

Our stay with Luis' family was one of our best experiences of the trip! Warm welcome, delicious food and nice long walk on the beach just in front. The place is quite remote so you will need to rent transportation to explore the area. It was easy to arrange and the person came to bring and pick up the motorbike directly on site. We wish this wonderful family all the best and hope to keep in touch! The cocoricos ;)

Our adult family of four stayed in both the mango house and the jungle house. Both of these places are fabulous- beautiful jungle surroundings, areas to hang out and observe the beauty, all kinds of fruit to try, an on-site restaurant (try the jackfruit stew!), comfortable beds. The fact that this area has been mindfully reforested was what attracted us to this stay but the experience overall was amazing. We highly recommend!

One of the cleanest places we’ve stayed at on the island. Noise from dogs and the church were to be expected and are mostly unavoidable on Ometepe. The patio and hammocks make it a relaxing stay also. Very very conveniently located to stores and restaurants and the port.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt bei Tatiana sehr genossen und können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen. Das Zimmer war geräumig und gemütlich, auch die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet. Tatiana war eine hilfsbereite Gastgeberin, die Kommunikation mit ihr war durchgehend positiv. Toll war auch, dass wir ganz unkompliziert einen Scooter über sie mieten konnten. Am besten hat uns aber die Terrasse mit dem Blick über die umliegenden Bananenplantagen und auf die zwei Vulkane der Insel gefallen!

Estoy muy feliz de haber sido invitado por Jio. Una casa hermosa, de ensueño y muy tradicional. Comí una comida deliciosa en un ambiente muy acogedor. Tuve el honor de conocer a Jio, pero lamentablemente no conocí a su hija. Espero poder verla en mi próximo viaje. Jio habla muy bien inglés, es muy amable, responsable, y siempre está dispuesto a guiarte. Es una persona increíble, y cualquiera que visite su casa una vez, seguro regresará en sus próximos viajes.
