We had the best time at Amy’s Cottage. She was a great host, so easy to message and responded really quickly. She sent over great instructions on how to get to the cottage and check in was really easy. The photos of the cottage do not do it justice!! The cottage had everything we needed and was super clean. The cottage is in a stunning remote location surrounded by fields, the views especially the sunset were spectacular and the sheep/lambs frolicking nearby made it super wholesome! Amy also left a booklet of useful information about how to work tv, local walks and amenities. She also comes every morning to check the hot tub is running as it should. We did not want to leave and we can’t wait to come and stay again!

Loved our stay ! Was peaceful and a lovely place for a relaxing night away ! Looks just like the photos and was a stunning house! We loved the hot tub, would definitely stay again !

Best Airbnb we've ever rented in terms of uniqueness, quality of design and finish. Everything about it was comfortable from the underflooring heating to the beds etc and the location was only a short drive to many lakes and walks and a dog friendly pub 5 minutes walk away was fab. We took our 2 boys and dog and we all loved it. Dylan has done an impeccable job on this chapel conversion. Graveyard garden certainly was unique and the spring lambs either side were a super cute bonus! Would love to come back again!

Stayed for one night with my two kids and two dogs. Lovely location and really lovely home. I would definitely stay again.

Unfortunately we didn’t get to meet Michael as he was away but we did meet the lovely Carol who was there on our arrival. We had a brilliant 2nt stay in the Partridge Hut. It was exactly the same as the photos. A comfortable bed and large powerful shower. It had everything you needed for such a compact space. We were fortunate with the weather and were able to use the outdoor seating and even got the fire pit going on the 1 nt. It was lovely to wake up to the birdsong and the little bunnies hopping around. We ate at the Milecastle Inn which was recommended by Carol and was spot on and then had fish and chips at the Ocean takeaway in Haltwhistle the last nt. Hadrians Wall is just on your doorstep and the Lanercost Priory which is in walking distance from the hut. A great tearoom and gift shop there too. If you’re after a quiet and relaxing time, Michael’s place is perfect and we will definitely return.

We absolutely loved our Christmas at Seaglass Cottage. The hosts were great, answered any questions, gave us detailed instructions for check-in and even put up a Christmas tree and decorations for us. We were very lucky with the weather, enjoying walks along the beach right outside, we even found some seaglass (we felt like children!). The property was very clean, the bedding smelled so fresh, the kitchen had everything you might need, very clean bathroom and handy downstairs loo. Every evening we would sit in the cosy conservatory enjoying a glass of wine, watching the sun go down, people walking along the beachpath with their dogs and then into the lounge for a real log fire. It was perfect and we can't wait to return!

For what our group wanted it was perfect not a bad word to say about the place, perfect or group weekend away in the country side just what a place!

We had a fantastic few days staying at the Wigwam. It was clean and very spacious and had everything we needed for our family of 4. The location was perfect, right on the beach and a short distance from the main centre and shop. Susan was very responsive with any quiestions we had. We will definitely return :)

This is a great place. We could’ve done with longer - struck gold with the weather so didn’t use the leisure facilities as much as we might have. Really well placed for visiting Keswick and Penrith. Whinlatter Forest took us about 30 mins to get to - great for walks, bikes, cafe.
