I had a beautiful time at the Stables! It’s a getaway from the world at a working farm. I love animals, so I asked to meet some of them, and Yvonne took me to see (and pet!) the milking cows, and explained the entire process to me! The house had traditional charm but was has been updated everywhere that it counts. They have lists of local recommendations but I was happy to get groceries and use the excellent kitchen at the property. I did not have a car and was warned about difficulty getting around but as I was only interested in nature and peace and quiet, getting to and from on public transport was easy enough. Finally, Yvonne was always prompt responding to me and was very friendly and welcoming! I’d love to come back!

Amazing place to stay. In a nice quiet location but the main shops are only a 10 min drive away (Tesco’s etc). The accommodation is exactly as described and contains everything you need for a break away. Definitely recommend this place to stay if you are looking to visit Wookey Hole, Longleat Safari and Bath (which is what we did!).

We loved our stay hosted by Gus at the cottage! What a lovely welcome with a cute basket full of goodies. We picked this stay due to my 2 year old who is obsessed with farmland/ tractors and this was the perfect location. Elsewhere cottage is a lovely space for a family of 4 (2 year old and 8 month old). Bedrooms were spacious , kitchen was tidy and offered all that was needed for our 4 night stay. Gus’s outdoor space is amazing and fantastic when you have young children - thank you allowing us to roam freely around your private space including the tractors! Please also extend our gratitude to Colin who we met on Friday evening, he allowed my son to look around his hanger and of course he found more tractors. We’ll definitely be back for sure! Thank you again Gus you was super!

A perfect location for our short break in Somerset with 2 dogs. The villa is quirky, spacious, clean and very comfortable. Lots of space for families with a beautiful garden, sun room and great kitchen. Lovely walks nearby and we walked to the local restaurant the first evening for a takeaway. Took a total of 8 mins there and back! A great base for visiting the Mendips, Cheddar, Wells, Glastonbury and Blagdon. A stones throw from Wookey Hole also, although we didn’t visit this time. I would really recommend this beautiful place. If you want to either kick back and relax, or walk and walk and walk - then this is the place for you. Thank you so much. We’d love to return if you’ll have us!

Fantastic stay and great location. The owners were very quick to respond when messaged and they very kindly gave us a tour of their farm which we loved. I would highly recommend. 😊

We had a lovely stay at Crucis Park Barn, it is in a beautiful setting with fantastic views, the barn was just perfect for a group of 8 people to get together for a celebration weekend.

We had a lovely week at The Bothy. A peaceful cottage in a wonderful location. Alicia is a great host - very welcoming and with lots of local information. The Bothy is well appointed and has everything you need. Pretty gardens at this time of year a sea of snowdrops. The local pub is a few minutes walk away and was great for supper. We also visited very good restaurants The Walnut Tree and The Black Bear who both serve superb food. Lots of local walks and charming towns and villages. A restful stay in a beautiful location.

we had a great stay. the area is very peaceful, but within easy distance of main roads. pubs and local walks. lots to do locally and slightly further afield. the house was exactly as pictured, and very clean. the kitchen had everything we needed, including plastic plates for little ones. hosts were easy to contact but respectful of privacy. we'd definitely book again!

We had a wonderful time staying at the Stone Barn. We were blown away by how lovely the barn was. We were greeted by lambs in the field next door on our arrival, treated to a spectacular sunset and enjoyed a peaceful private stay. There were lots of small thoughtful aspects to the barn that we really appreciated for example Easter themed decor and treats, milk and coffee pods, a bluetooth speaker, a very detailed folder about what was around in the area and toiletries were provided (even some sleep spray for your pillow!). We regret that we didn't book to stay for longer as we loved our time at the barn so much. We will definitely be returning! Thank you Nicky and Mark.

Amazing stay! Such a lovely little shepherds hut which was well equipped and perfect for us. Breakfast provided was a bonus and felt so welcome by Rosalind and family. We would definitely return if we were in the area!

My Husband, toddler and I had a lovely stay for 3 nights at the Carthorse Barn! Annette’s place is beautiful and in a great location too. We visited the Cotswold Wildlife Park & Gardens and Cirencester during our stay. The barn is also a good choice for families with young children as Annette provided a travel cot, bath towel, high chair and toys as well as cutlery and plates. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Beautiful cottage with lots of attention to detail. Very clean and comfortable, definitely recommend.

What a beautiful place to stay. Stoberry Cottage is a cosy and beautifully appointed place to stay. It’s in the middle of a big green park with a view down to Wells Cathedral so feels really special. 16 minute walk or 3 minute drive into town. While it was cold outside, it was snug and warm inside. Bed v comfy, spacious bathroom, lots of room. Can’t say enough about the location!

We had a lovely stay. The views from the property are great with some beautiful walks and rolling countryside. The hot tub was a great addition and we would not hesitate to stay here again!

Wonderful cottage in lovely surroundings. The cottage has everything you need. We stayed for one night and after a busy days walking it was lovely to curl up by the log burner. Cottage was warm and cosy. Jan was lovely and friendly, we felt right at home. Highly recommended 😊

Claire and Christopher were incredible hosts! Their little home from home was perfect for our family of four. It was very well set up, kitted out kitchen perfect for any type of cooking, cozy space, and lovely surroundings. We especially loved exploring the fields and the kids loved the chickens and dogs! The hot tub was a perfect way to end each day. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a countryside experience with all the comforts of home.

I had the most wonderful, restful, stay at Sue's little cottage! The view is spectacular, rain or shine. The space has everything you would need for a long or short stay. It's a quick, enjoyable, walk into town. The train/cab system is quite easy. I wish I had more time to stay and explore. Bradford on Avon was the perfect get away from the city, and was so beautiful at Christmas time. The food scene was wonderful. I also was able to visit Bath, even with the train systems being down. I recommend having a car if you want to explore more isolated parts of the country -- which i would do next time. Can't recommend enough and so look forward to staying again in the future!

Had a lovely stay here! Would 100% recommend. A lovely farm with a welcoming host, all the amenities. A much needed peaceful getaway!

Lovely 3 days with our 3 daughters and partners , baby grandson and 2 dogs !! Plenty of space for us all and we were fortunate to have wonderful weather Absolutely beautiful location , peaceful and amazing views Property immaculate and we loved the large kitchen /dining area where we spent most of our time ... great for cooking and socialising at the same time so we could all be together and enjoy views too ... Our daughters two dogs loved the surrounding fields to run around in and we were able to enjoy a lovely circular walk from the property on the monarchs way and Cotswold Way .. beds all v comfortable and everything of high quality Nothing to fault and we had a great time here - one of the best kept Air BnB s some of us had been to . Enjoyed the Banana cake and fresh eggs A small point - there is another property ( sleeping 4) that is let separately which is v close - It wasn't an issue for us as only one person staying who was hardly there so was quiet but it could

Absolutely stunning place to stay, beautiful location, very peaceful, the cottage is finished to a high standard, fully equipped kitchen. I will definitely be returning next time I’m in the area. Unfortunately I was on a work trip and didn’t get to explore locally, but would love to return for a peaceful escape with my family.

This was the third stay at this AirBnB. It’s a very peaceful place to stay and ideally situated for walking in the local countryside and visiting nearby Bath, Castle Combe, Tetbury and many other places of interest. Highly recommended.

A real gem. So nice and relaxing for a few days away. Richard and Penny were great hosts from welcoming us and local information, to being available for any queries you might have. We Ubered to Bath and back for day trip and wasn’t too expensive either. Best advice is to switch off your tech, listen to the wildlife and take a stroll around.

Fantastic property - 5 stars in every way. The photos undersell the property; lovely location and the property is one of the best stocked and neatest airbnbs we've stayed at. Some really nice christmas touches (wreaths and a real christmas tree). The farm has sheep and turkeys close to the house which the kids loved and it was very quiet given its a working farm. Only two comments; the 4th "bedroom" (sofa bed on the landing) would have been very impractical to use for more than 3 couples/families and the stairs aren't child friendly; open sided so no opportunity to let the kids have the run of downstairs. A fantastic stay, well worth the money and would definitely come again! Oh and the dog is super friendly
