Wow, My partner and I had a lovely weekend in the Ecopod!! Damian gave us suggestions to some lovely pubs nearby and we had a lovely dinner. The Evopod itself was perfect, if you are looking for a little space for 2 it's great, we used the hotub both nights which was clean and well kept! A lovely weekend away

We enjoyed our glamping-like stay in this wonderfully quiet spot, so close to nature - a little oasis of its own. Janet is a very warm and welcoming host and we hope to visit again one day.

Last minute Valentine get away with our two dogs. Despite pretty grim weather, you couldn't have wished to be anywhere cosier. Surprisingly spacious and everything you could think of, provided for a weekend away. Basic breakfast foods provided and of course Juliet's famous delicious short bread and doggie welcome treats.Private garden space adjoining a wood and secure field. Dogs roamed and played freely and safety. Bring lots of dog towels if you expect rain. Lovely shower in the cabin. Very well designed compost in a separate cabin. We kept close for dog exercise but there seems plenty of options for walking.. especially to pub...It's between 40 to 50 minute walk away. So many birds. A lovely chalet which served our purpose perfectly. A little out of town so had to drive and park(not a problem in February!). Chalet warmed up really quickly once we arrived. The kitchen is very well equipped but it took us a while to get the hang of the microwave! Comfortable beds and all very clean.

Beautiful place, very peaceful, perfectly layed out with plenty of space it is also very well insulated and we had no problem keeping warm. 10 minutes up the road is a pub 'the black river inn' which provided great food and atmosphere. We would love to visit again in the summer its a completely unique quirky stay with all of the above and couldn't ask for more 👌😊 Thanks faith

This beautiful oak framed barn was quietly luxurious. A super comfy bed, great kitchen, relaxing living area with comfortable furniture. Lovely welcome touches. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed at this beautiful lodge for a few days, it was peaceful and in easy reach of where we wanted to go. Both Jules and the owners were very friendly and helpful and went he extra mile to make outstay very pleasant, thank you!

We had a fantastic night at the Shippon. We loved the style of the property and felt very relaxed whilst there. We got some nice food from Bens farm shop which is just 10 minutes drive away. We enjoyed a couple of nice circular walks from the village along lanes and bridleways. The plant nursery up the road is worth a visit if you enjoy gardening/plants.

This place was a perfect base to explore beautiful South Devon and Dartmoor, set in a lovely little warren of houses (old miners cottages I believe) with a babbling brook and surrounded by forests - very peaceful. Ros & Peter were very friendly, relaxed, and helpful with suggestions for where to explore. The studio was comfy & modern, perfect place to chill out after a long day hiking - and the bed was incredible (haven’t slept that well in years!) lovely place, strongly recommend!

A fantastic stay! This Shepherd hut was spotless! The area is so quiet and friendly. Plenty of walks on the doorstep. The location is fantastic, especially when travelling to Dartmouth. Two pubs serving food within a few minutes walk was an added bonus. Excellent WIFI. Thanks Nina for having us.

Myself & my partner stayed over new years for 2 nights & had a lovely stay, peaceful and quite.lovely town Salcombe not to far full of loads of shops & restaurants. Dennis was a lovely host gave clear instructions on how to get to the location was flexible with checkout and checkin as we had to make last minute changes. The air b&b was a cosy little hut with a gorgeous hot tub a clean bathroom not to far from the hut, hut was warm enough, the bbq came in handy as did the hair dryer. There was beautiful views & horses in fields close by, the stars were amazing from the hot tub clear views for miles exactly what we were looking for. Will definitely be back to stay over the summer, would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful stay in nature.

The cabin was great! Little details on every corner, showing the thought and care put into it. Everything I needed + space on the private little balcony to enjoy the lucky sunny days. Thank you, Jonathan!

I had a fabulous 3 nights at Susan's little cabin. It has the most beautiful view over the rolling fields and sea. I felt right at home and it was exactly the location I needed for peace and tranquility. I had a couple of brilliant walks around the area and enjoyed the afternoons/evenings relaxing on the deck. Thank you.

We had such a lovely stay at the hut. The place was clean and tidy. It’s such a great location and so quiet. We would definitely stay again next time we’re in the area. Georgina was such a lovely host, always very responsive to questions we had. Would definitely recommend staying.

The Orangery was perfect for our short retreat in Devon. The location is peaceful and the accommodation was cosy, plus hosts are friendly and very helpful. Would recommend.

We’ve now stayed at both of Jan’s shepherds huts and they are both fantastic! It’s the perfect Devon getaway base and is well equipped for having cosy nights cooking in and bbq’ing around the fire pit. Comfy beds and always immaculately cleaned, would highly recommend staying here! The location is great for exploring surrounding beaches and Dartmoor, plus picturesque villages with lovely pubs. Nothing however beats spending nights at the shepherds hut with a bbq, fire pit and taking in the beautiful views!

The Pottery was located down a beautiful quiet Devon lane within easy walking distance of public footpaths and byways around local farms and woodlands. On arrival we found the place to be spotless with all the basic necessities provided. The accommodation was warm and the bathroom and bedrooms especially were idyllic, great views from the bedroom looking across the fields and the bathroom was stunning. Catherine was very welcoming, especially in accommodating our nervous dog and offering to keep her dogs away if needed. (They were perfectly well behaved and didn’t need it). We were left in peace but help was easily available if needed. Catherine was very responsive to messages. We would definitely visit again

Just what we needed. A cosy, quirky, well equipped and comfortable stay away which was quiet, private and had no light pollution. The log burner is perfect this time of year and even though some of the local roads are a bit on the ‘agricultural’ side (it is a farm after all) it’s a great base to explore Dartmoor from. Any issues were dealt with quickly (not that there were any really) and we would recommend a stay there to anyone.
