We had a great time at Canny Brow Barn. Everything you could possible think of or need for your stay, Ian and Anne-Marie had thought about, from a cocktail shaker to cleaning products to games. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful, clean little cottage close to Coniston (20 minutes drive). Very clean , free of clutter. Simon was a very welcoming and responsive host. The late complimentary check out was a very welcome bonus . Would definitely book again. Thank you Simon.

We loved our stay - the cottage is extremely cosy and has beautiful views. The beds and linens were really comfortable and everything was really thoughtfully prepared. Claire was so welcoming and had loads of great recommendations of places to visit - if only we'd had time to do more!

Great property, well presented in a quiet and beautiful location. The property was as described by the host , extremely clean with great facilities. Very likely to stay here again.

Fab place, so peaceful and relaxing. Log fire lovely on an evening. Rebecca was quick to respond and helpful instructions to get there.

We had a lovely 3 night stay with our two young children. The cottage was thoroughly enjoyed by all. We particularly enjoyed spotting deer and lambs out of the sun room window on the morning. Then after a day exploring the surrounding area ( easily accessible by car, but also enjoyed local walking routes from the front door) we would relax in the hot tub and gaze up at the clear starry skies. The hosts were extremely friendly and let us see the new born lambs. We would definitely love to return here and we can’t recommend this place enough.

We were in the Lakes at a difficult time but Sophie was extremely sympathetic, responsive, and helpful. The cottage is a real haven of peace in an extremely beautiful place. It was easy to run and I imagine the outside would be lovely in warm weather with the noise of the stream in the garden and the birdsong. The surrounding countryside is much quieter than the main Lakeland and we thought would make excellent cycling country. Great walks less than a five minute drive. The cottage is fed by spring water which can go rather brown but it clears itself fine.

Felt so at peace staying here. The home is very quaint, but cozy. The street and surrounding areas was so nice to walk around and it was such a perfect location to get around the lakes.

Back from a lovely stay at Richard’s beautiful property. The photos don’t do it justice. Great open space for living, dinning and kitchen. Great size bedrooms and bathrooms! Also has a pretty courtyard garden. Central location close to restaurants and pubs. Will definitely return!

We had a delightful stay in the converted barn. It was so impressive to see the photos of Angela and Wayne's efforts in the instruction book and really appreciated all the information and communication provided. Beds were comfortable, we were warm and all amenities were perfect for what we needed. We definitely want to return one day and will recommend to friends!

Hi Reg and Lynn, From Darren, Vic and Charlie, we want to say a massive thank you for your hospitality, your kindness and allowing us to stay in your beautiful cottage. we've had the best few days in a long time and felt part of your wonderful family whilst allowing us space and privacy to truly relax. we'd like to thank you also for the little extras we found upon arrival which were most thoughtful and kind. We struggled to leave this morning and the love you've all put into the cottage was felt from the second we walked through the door. I really don't think the photos do justice to the beauty and charm. The local walks are wonderful, the beach is an absolute delight, you've made everything perfect for us and hope we'll be back one day. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, it's been the most perfect of breaks Darren, Vic and a truly tired Charlie x

Wow, this barn was the perfect stay ! My wife and I had the most amazing weekend here with our Labrador. The barn was immaculate and exactly as the photos show. It was modern and had a really home feel to it, not only that, the garden area was outstanding and perfect for the dog to explore! Pat and Neil were great hosts, they were on hand to ensure check in and check out ran smoothly and kindly built the log fire for us on both days so we could easily use this during our stay. They also provided great local recommendations (walks, supermarkets, restaurants etc…) We will definitely be returning, it was one of the best AirBnB stays we’ve had!

My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights. The place was really clean, well looked after and homely. The hot tub was really spacious and a nice touch after a long day of walking. The farm was peaceful and quiet, and it was nice seeing the horses in the stables next door. The place was easy to find, and Kev was friendly, accessible and full of local recommendations.

Lovely few days in a beautiful, quiet part of the Lake District. Would highly recommend and hope to return one day soon.

Fantastic accommodation on beautiful and peaceful farm. Everything is as described, would happily stay there again.Just make sure that you buy some treats for a dog and cat,they are very friendly.

We were looking for a quiet peaceful place to explore the walking in the area. Emma's place fitted the bill perfectly being situated in a remote rural location. The Byre is well fitted out with quality finishes and small welcoming touches such as the delicious homemade cake. Emma is a great host and we will happily return to continue exploring the area.

Brilliant experience. Jonathan and family are super nice, the place is beyond immaculate, and especially as a family with small children, it has everything you could possibly need and more - one of the best equipped homes we've stayed at on AirBnB. From high chairs, to bed barriers, books, games, children's toys, it had everything we could need to make our stay comfortable and easy. The garden area is huge, with plenty for our kids to do; complete even with a resident chicken roaming the garden! The location is beautiful, surrounded by fells, and it's a short drive from Keswick. Thanks for a lovely weekend, and we hope to stay again in the future.

Lovely homely property with lots of space for a three generation family to not be on top of each other. Really appreciated the toys and books for the children as well as the wine and dog biscuits! Nice little enclosed courtyard area with enough furniture for us all to sit in the sun. Quiet village with great local pub, the Kings Arms, who serve excellent home cooked food, reasonably priced. Convenient location for exploring the area. Very friendly and responsive host. Would highly recommend.

We stayed over a cold December weekend and the place was stunning. Whether walking on the wild moors or snuggling in front of the log burner we were very happy with our choice to stay here. There were plenty of nice touches, including the tasty bread and eggs. We'd love to come back!

Lovely cottage in a quieter part of the Lake District, but within easy reach of the more popular parts. Close to Cockermouth which is a lovely market town with some really good shops, cafes and bakeries. The cottage is really quiet (road has barely any traffic). A good amount of space, well equipped and everything spotlessly clean. Good communication from the hosts and a nice welcome basket :-) Some tea, coffee, sugar and milk provided, but you need to bring any other essentials, e.g. cooking oil if you cook, which is fair enough. There are a couple of pubs that do food within a few minutes drive, and a choice of supermarkets in Cockermouth. We would very happily stay there again, thanks Andrew and Lynn.

It was incredible!!! Stunning views, our stay could not have been any better. We all had a wonderful holiday. Pool, hot tub, tree house, lots of space for children to run and play football. Just fantastic. Thank you to Alan for coming to our aid when we put key into wrong door & got it stuck. Thank you David for everything!!!!
