The apartment building was within walking distance to restaurants and shops (5-6 mins ). Nearest grocery is Tesco. The space was clean , comfortable beds, and well equipped kitchen. The balcony offers a good view of the lake. It’s a peaceful area. You can hear the birds chirping in early morning. We really enjoyed our stay and defo will book again next visit . Thank you ☺️

We stayed at Kelly & Liams as a one night stop over on our way to and from Scotland. It was perfect and exactly what we needed after a long drive. Comfortable stay with everything you need. It was clean and in a really handy location. Parking super easy and close to apartment. Thank you for having us! Defo recommend! :)

Lovely, cosy holiday apartment with comfortable beds, great bed linen and workable cooking facilities. In excellent location, 4 minutes from the railway and bus station and very close to all of the shops and restaurants in the town.

We had a lovely 3 nights at No.4. After a warm welcome from Dave, we felt like the apartment was a home from home! Everything you could need is there, including a Sainsburys less than a minute walk away if you’ve forgotten something! No.4 is right on the main high street by some excellent cafes and shops, but tucked away so it’s a peaceful and secluded spot to unwind. The evenings were so cosy and warm! We had a great time exploring Troutbeck, Townend and Wray Castle - all accessible on foot straight from the doorstep. So you can leave your car parked safely at No.4! Ambleside is also a short (10min) drive away (or a bus journey) for some lovely meals, and Sizergh Castle is a great place to visit if driving back down south at the end of your stay. We had a great stay in the apartment as a family of 4. It’s within easy walking distance of the castle, parks and centre and has shops nearby to grab groceries. We were lucky enough to have glorious weather and enjoyed the balcony too. Would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed staying at Paul's AirBnB. It was a great location to explore the Lake District from, parking was super easy, and the location was extremely walkable to local pubs and restaurants in central Bowness. Paul was a very responsive host, answering any questions we had promptly, and was also extremely flexible as we did not have a clear sense of when we would be arriving for check-in until several hours prior.

Irina and Chris' place is very comfortable and the location is perfect for a trip to the Lake District - we came by bike and were able to find an easy spot to lock up nearby. great train and bus links, plus some lovely bars and cafés within a few minutes walk. The oven is a bit confusing, but otherwise the kitchen was really well equipped. Irina was really helpful and quick to respond to questions and requests.

we arrived late at night as a stop over for a very long journey from Noerh Scotland to London. it was hard ro find in the dark and the parking was tight but the flat was so so comfy. it was so welcoming, the place had been ade up to our needs so we didn't have to do anything when we arrived late at night. perfect place to stay with dogs. a little welcome box for our dog, crates and dog bowls, treats poo bags. Just ideal and our very anxious dog was very happy here. extremely helpful host. I would absolutely recommend staying here. any issues with the tight parking space were completely dismissed with the hospitality and the comfort we had here.

We had such a great time, and the Airbnb was lovely! Very clean and great supplies, and the apartment itself was so cute. Thanks again to Mark and Kristen!

Needed a base in Cockermouth to see friends for the weekend. We were very comfortable and its useful having parking in town.

I had such a lovely stay here. A perfect place for a solo traveller (with a furry friend!!!) A small space with absolutely everything you could need. Beautiful gardens. Really helpful guest information (the recommended walks were a huge bonus for me). And the brownies and shortbread were delicious - thank you so much! 😊

This place was perfect for me, my husband and my dog. It had everything we needed and nothing we didn't. Everything was immaculate. The bed was more comfy than my own at home! Sofa and chair comfortable too. We used the place as a base ..... basically for sleeping in as we were out walking most of the day.... so we didn't do any cooking or even look in the oven, but at a glance there seemed to be plenty of post and cutlery etc. This flat is located in a lovely area, very close to the shops and a very short walk to the pubs - yet it was very quiet at night - we didn't hear any noise from outside. We had a really lovely stay.

The apartment is in a fantastic location (can’t get much better in Keswick). Clean, tidy and well looked after. Claire our host was great, super helpful and quick to respond to any queries. I would definitely stay there again.

We had a fantastic stay at Kim’s place; it’s far enough away you get to enjoy the peacefulness of a quiet road (and the sounds of the river) but short enough of a drive into Keswick for any bits we needed. We did plenty of long walks from the flat and enjoyed the warmth of the fire when we returned! Overall, would highly recommend a stay at Kim’s place.

Great cottage, clean, comfortable and in a good location. Bonus is the car parking permit. Leeanne the host was easy to contact and supplied clear instructions on how to find car park and cottage. Kendal is a town with various walks so if need be, you dont need to use tje car again. We had a fab time 👏

Colin contacted us prior to our stay to give us accurate details of where to go, and what to do. He gave us his contact number incase there was any issues, and told us to contact him anytime. His apartment was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the photos do not do it justice.. and the views from the balcony were 100%. The location was perfect for what we was looking for. We would highly recommend ,and definitely stay there again.😊

Howe Tarn was such a beautiful place to stay- really peaceful and great location. Mark left the apartment very clean for us and emailed us a guide on what is nearby/ local recommendations which we used. This was really helpful. Great host and great communication. The only small negative was the shower which was not very powerful and not too hot! But other than this, Howe Tarn is a very beautiful place to stay and would recommend it to anyone😊.

Absolutely perfect location for Bowness with outstanding views. The apartment had everything you needed for a short stay and the extras like coffee pods and cake were a lovely touch. It’s an ideal spot to enjoy Lake Windermere. Lots of character and history. Loved the hammock with views over the lake - so tranquil and relaxing. The hosts were so genuine and accommodating. Highly recommend.

Fantastic apartment for a weekend stay. Extremely comfy bed and well stocked kitchenette. Rebecca was great with her communication and check in was quick and easy. The hotel facilities included in our stay were great, with a pool (free pool towels available), sauna, bar/restaurant and kids games room. Lovely grounds, quiet and peaceful. Easy access to Keswick. Would definitely recommend to anyone wishing for a quiet, peaceful stay clowe to other towns and attractions.
