The property was superb, even better than the photographs. It’s ideally situated for access to Bowness and surrounding area. The views from the outside terrace were fabulous - even though the weather was mixed! The hot tub and games room were well used and enjoyed by our mixed age group. Overall a brilliant holiday in a beautiful home and David our host met us at the property and even allowed us in early!

Had an amazing stay at Tarn Croft. House is gorgeous and is in a peaceful and tranquil setting. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

Very happy with our stay, perfect location to stay for going walking in the Lake District and the log heated hot tub was excellent after an early morning of walking! Thank you 🙂

We stayed with family for my Birthday. Was a perfect location as 2 minute walk into Ambleside town centre, yet the house is set back so still peaceful. Beautiful house and views from the front of the house. Hot tub was a lovely added bonus.

As advertised, can’t go wrong with this place.

What a perfect place to stay with all of the family from 11 months to 80+yrs of age. Accessibility for my mum was excellent with walk in showers and sofa chairs easy to get in and out of. A travel cot and high chair provided for the youngest member of the family. A dishwasher including the tablets along with a fully equipped kitchen, plastic glasses for use in the hot tub ideal with a glass of wine or too. Our two dogs enjoyed lots of walks and it was brilliant that the garden was fully enclosed and safe for them too. Sarah the host was lovely nothing was too much trouble, little touches like jigsaws and board games where available and the barn had been decorated for Christmas to make you feelst home. The barn was in a beautiful location with lots of walks and a local pub ( booking is essential). If your into astronomy go to Grassholme Observatory I learnt so much and the dark skies are awesome. We had a lovely New Years break and would highly recommended Sunrise Barn for families.

We had a lovely 3 night stay with our two young children. The cottage was thoroughly enjoyed by all. We particularly enjoyed spotting deer and lambs out of the sun room window on the morning. Then after a day exploring the surrounding area ( easily accessible by car, but also enjoyed local walking routes from the front door) we would relax in the hot tub and gaze up at the clear starry skies. The hosts were extremely friendly and let us see the new born lambs. We would definitely love to return here and we can’t recommend this place enough.

We absolutely loved our stay! The place was even better than described—so cosy and well-equipped. The jacuzzi was just amazing, with a beautiful view that made it extra special. We had such a wonderful time and would definitely come back. Highly recommend!

The farmhouse was beautiful, with a gorgeous setting and the hot tub was very relaxing. Will deffinately stay again.

We had a great stay. The house was in a beautiful location, right on the estuary. Plenty of beach for walking. Beds were comfy and ample linen and towels were provided plus a great welcome hamper. The games room provided hours of entertainment and the hot tub was lovely for relaxing in after a busy day. The nearby rock park/quarry was a really interesting day out. We also enjoyed a meal out at the King William IV in Kirksanton. Jenny was a great host and was extremely welcoming and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

We had a fantastic stay at Loughrigg Cottage! The house was clean, cozy, and perfectly located for exploring the Lake District. The hot tub was a highlight: perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking. The hosts were responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway!

The house is absolutely gorgeous, with a very homely feel. All the rooms were spacious and comfortable. Everything that you could possibly need was provided. there was 14 of us ( all adults) staying there for one week, we get together at least once a year and hire properties of this size throughout the uk, and we have all agreed that this has been the best one that we have stayed at to date. We were very lucky weather wise and we enjoyed spending time on the balcony taking in the view which is beautiful. We have two chefs in our group and they have said that the kitchen facilities are excellent. The lounge is rather tight for 14 adults, however I suspect that it was larger at some point and has been reduced in size to accommodate the bedroom next door which caters for disabled guests, the size of the lounge did not cause us any discomfort. There are plenty of of board games provided for all ages, incase the weather keeps you indoors. We would absolutely recommend a stay at this house.

We had the most amazing stay here, a lovely accommodation with great hosts. There are really nice pubs a short walk away and some beautiful waterfalls along some hiking routes. The pods themselves are fantastic, we would absolute recommend staying here.

We had a lovely time! He kept us up to date with check in and allowed us to check in at 11:00am which was very kind! He thoroughly gave us a tour of the Lakeland Leisure Village and Lodge whilst also providing recommendations of places to eat and things to do. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be recommending to others and hopefully staying again at some point in the future.

The lodge was absolutely stunning and exactly what we wanted. Upon arrival all the essentials were provided like bread, milk and a delicious cake along. The lodge was very clean and all towels were provided, including the towels for the hot tub. The views from the lodge looking out from the bedrooms and hot tub were stunning and certainly helped us all to relax. The kitchen is extremely well equipped with everything you need - nothing was missing. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable week - I couldn’t recommend it enough if you want peace and quiet and stunning views.

We had a wonderful stay at Charlotte's lodge. It was so cosy and homely, and very well equipped for a comfortable stay. The hot tub was brilliant, with an amazing view over the lake! Charlotte was very helpful, always being quick to respond and providing very thorough instructions and recommendations. We would love to come back again in future!

My Husband and I only stayed one night, but it was perfect for what we needed. We did end up needing more wood for the hot tub before it finally got to the right temperature and it was a wonderful experience after that. Beautiful and clean pod will all the basic essentials. Bathroom a lot bigger than anticipated. Won’t be our last time here for sure. Local coop just 5 min drive. Thank you Thomas.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Julia’s charming lodge with my family to celebrate our son’s 30th birthday, it exceeded all my expectations. The space was impeccably clean, with very comfortable beds and a well-equipped kitchen that made me feel right at home. The location and views are just fantastic, it is just under a two mile walk to the lovely twice brewed pub and Hadrian s wall. Julia was incredibly hospitable and responsive to my queries The thoughtful touches, like the fabulous welcome basket, well stock kitchen cupboards with all the essentials and of course the lovely kind touch of a very tasty homemade fresh cream cake and Prosecco on ice when we arrived. All rooms having well equipped en-suite with all the essentials, shampoo etc. all bedrooms also having your own door leading to the beautiful outside area with chickens welcoming us every morning. I highly recommend this lodge to anyone visiting this area and definitely look forward to returning

Had a lovely three days with the family at Mistletoe Lodge, it was very private and had plenty of parking spaces as we had three cars. Lovely comfy beds and fantastic kitchen area. Hot tub was in a very private area, felt like in the tree tops. Would definitely return, thanks Kate
