Our stay at Orchard Chalet was spectacular! Nestled in nature, it was the perfect retreat with exceptional hospitality. Thelma, our host, provided a detailed guide about local spots and even stocked the kitchen with essentials before our arrival. The chalet was private and peaceful, feeling secluded despite being in her family garden. The outdoor space was well-kept, and the cozy, rustic interior added to the charm. Thelma’s thoughtful recommendation of the Hartford Remembrance Service added a personal touch. I highly recommend Orchard Chalet for its beauty, comfort, and Thelma’s care. We’ll definitely be back!

We loved our stay in this cosy, beautifully converted coach house, ideal for the two of us and our dog. Alan offered us an earlier arrival time, gave us a warm welcome & great recommendation for food at the Oliver Twist pub 5mins walk away...so good we ate there twice. And a lovely walk for the dog along the river, just across the road. Our first time visiting this area...we explored it well over a couple of days and would love to return.

Host Chris was very welcoming and informative. Lodge was a lovely retreat for two in perfect location, very private and peaceful. Would highly recommend local farm shop Farndon Fields Market Harborough, great local produce and we ate a delicious breakfast there. Market Harborough itself worth a visit too. Local pub Coach & Horses Lubenham is under new management, very friendly and good selection of well kept beers. Would highly recommend, we are already looking to book again. Ian & Gee

Perfect for our short stay in Milton Keynes, hut was lovely and was nice to have some tea and biscuit provisions. Easy check in and a beautiful area to be set up at. Hut is right next to the farm house and store. Fortunately we had no noise from either. Overall very pleased, only slight issue was that the bathroom fan wasn't working (or we couldn't work out how to turn it on) so it got very humid in there, some signs of mould but could be related to the fan so I'm sure will get fixed soon.

We had a lovely time. It was luxurious to escape reality into the peace and calm. A lovely place to stay, you feel like it really is just you and your loved ones. GREAT for dogs- so nice the space is enclosed and safe. Thank you, we loved it.

We had a wonderful stay here, The surroundings are beautiful, the place is clean and has everything you could need. The outside space is great and once we had the fire going the hot tub soon warmed up. A great weekend and a great host. Thank you!

We enjoyed a two night stay here. Easy self check in , very clean and tidy with lovely stylish furnishings. Nice Fluffy towels and nice fresh white bedding. Well equipped. Lovely quiet setting in a lovely area with a short drive into the beautiful city of Cambridge.

This was our first stay in a Shepards Hut, but we wanted somewhere beautiful to stay in the countryside with our dog so we chose Rabbit Warren as the views are amazing and it’s 15 min drive to Stamford where we spent the day before checking in. We was worried about it being cold as the temperatures were below freezing for our stay but with the fire inside and radiators it was so warm and cosy. The hut is immaculately clean. We will be visiting again very soon.

We stayed on our way South for 1 night, The Cow Shed is ideally located a few miles from A1. Easy to find in a nice quiet area, it was a little chilly when we arrived but after getting the log burner going it was perfect. Nice outside area was perfect for our dog.

We had a lovely weekend at Otter’s Holt, such a beautiful, peaceful space. The pod had absolutely everything we needed and more, and the outside area was even better than we expected - we loved sitting out in the sunshine surrounded by birdsong! The area around the village was great for walking, and we’d definitely recommend Amy’s place for a lovely weekend away. We originally booked to come in February but unfortunately were unable to come due to illness, but Amy was really accommodating and kindly allowed us to shift our dates. Amy was really responsive throughout our communication with her, and made us feel really comfortable during our stay!

Chestnut Lodge was a beautiful find. We absolutely loved staying here, the cold winter months were no match for the cosyness of the log burner and thick bedding. It very much felt like staying in our own hobbit hole. Everything we needed for our stay was outlined before we arrived and further details were given in the handy booklet left out on arrival. We didn't get to meet Vicky unfortunately, however we spoke with Ben when he came to check on us and I can honestly say he might have been the nicest person I've ever met, with the biggest smile. So we definitely felt most welcome. Vicky's lovely lemon and coffee cakes were much appreciated after our drive to the lodge. If you book the lodge, bring wellington boots! We brought our walking boots thinking they'd be fine for the walk to and from the car, but soon decided to go buy wellies! The compost loo is a good bit of fun, don't be put off by a lack of flush. We'd absolutely come back, ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My husband and I loved staying at this lodge, it is exactly how you see it in the pictures and very well equipped! We were worried that it may be a bit cold as the temperature dropped and it was very rainy but Graham and his wife had already warmed up the lodge for us and it stayed very warm throughout our stay. They were both very welcoming, helpful and flexible with the check in and check out process as it was a quiet period. We would definitely come back to this place again. Our dog loved staying outside in the rain 😂

Great place to stay and the hosts were very welcoming and friendly. The accommodation was very nice including a great bed and the heater kept the place warm majority of the time however the toilet was excluded because of the bathroom door so that was cold particularly in the mornings. The hot tub booking system was a bit flawed and we ended up missing our slot as people overstayed their time and didn’t follow instructions. There was also a couple leaks on the door frame due to heavy rain but it was not a major problem. Overall very nice place to stay and very unique experience, beautiful surroundings villages would definitely recommend

We were looking to escape city life for a weekend and enjoy some peace and tranquillity and we most definitely got it! Seeing that some places advertised as 'digital detoxes' were pricey, we decided to do our own and found Debbie's cabin. It's tucked away in a nice little corner of the countryside, with parking, very private and secluded. It's easy to find with Debbie's instructions and we were met straight away and given instructions on how everything worked. The cabin itself is modern, cosy, clean and tidy, and full of everything you need for a relaxing stay curled up with a book and a cup of tea. It has beautiful space outside with wildlife that comes to say hello and a place to cook. Should you get restless, it has some lovely places nearby. Rutland Water (short drive away) is beautiful for a walk/bike ride and coffee and the local pubs are in walking distance of the cabin. To add, Debbie is a lovely host and made us feel extremely welcome. The breakfast is amazing!

This is the perfect place to stay and explore the peninsula, which is a beautiful area. There are so many outdoor activities to get involved in and experience. Tom’s cabin is the perfect place to relax, admire the view and plan your next adventure. Our children loved the experience and being off grid meant we played loads of cards games together. The dog also had a great time. The cabin is cosy and comfortable and even though it is small the four of us lived happily together. We will definitely return to this beautiful, peaceful spot. Thank you Tom for making us feel so welcome.

Helen's hut was exactly what I needed while in Cambridge. It was quiet, calm, peaceful. A great comfortale bed, bathroom and kitchen. Really nice decorations. Helen was lovely to speak to - both when booking and when checking in. It's a shame I didn't get to talk with her more. She provided local knowledge and just left me to myself - which was exactly what you need after long days in the office. I would definitely stay again if Helen would have me.

Beautiful shepherds hut - clear information to get there in the dark and lots of info on arrival for the local area. Sheep nearby, lovely walks in the woods, private and peaceful with a super comfy bed. Wood burner is a dream!

The place is a little gem very private with beautiful surroundings and it has a gas Bbq next to a sitting area behind the cabin. This enables you to spend a lot of time outdoors and enjoy the quietness of the spot. The cabin is small but very well laid out and it has all the amenities you need, kitchen utensils and even an air fryer. The bed is good sized and the matress is to die for. You will sleep like a baby!! Lee and her husband have been very welcoming and made us very comfortable during our stay and gave us really amazing tips on what we can visit and restaurants in the area! Overall a great experience for us and I will highly recommend for a short stay!!

We had a wonderful stay. Very beautiful surroundings and clean place. Helen was super helpful and kindly let us check in earlier. If you like nature and have a little dog this is the place for you and it was great to be able to enjoy the hot tub under the stars. Would definitely recommend.

We had a lovely evening there and we might go back in the summer and use the patio and bar b q. Helen was a lovely person and very welcoming.
