If you are looking for peace and quiet this is perfect. Just an easy place to stay!.

We were 4 friends, a daughter and 2 dogs. We booked at very short notice (the morning of the stay) as our ferry to Guernsey was cancelled due to the weather. Rachel was very responsive to taking our booking and getting the cleaners arranged. The property is very beautiful and spacious with a larger kitchen and dining area. The entrance door is the smallest I have seen and it felt we were entering a large Bilbo Baggins hobbit house. Plenty of parking space for our 3 cars. Plenty of kitchen equipment, crockery, glasses and fridge space. We sat in the large lounge and watched the 6 Nations Rugby when it rained and had wonderful walks on a few beaches. There is an excellent butchers 5 minutes away and also fantastic fresh fish at a Hastings fishmongers. We had a great time celebrating a friend’s birthday and I highly recommend this place.

Jo was a great host so friendly and very welcoming , Jo even sent useful videos of how to find the house . The house was beautiful so spacious and comfortable with beautiful gardens . The kitchen was so well equipped there was everything I needed to cook a birthday dinner for my mum . The info folders at the house were great and answered any questions we had . We really enjoyed our stay from start to finish .

Very comfortable and welcoming. Parking easy at local car park. Library lovely as was lady in the shop . Fish and Chips very close by and very tasty. Shame about the Chinese takeaway. Cath very friendly and helpful.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Stable. The photos when we booked looked amazing but in reality it was superb. The bed and settee were super comfy and all the TV set up was great. We had amazing weather for April so really enjoyed the little sun trap of a garden. The lights at night were so pretty. Going to get some for home. The kitchen had everything we needed. Little goodies left by Greg were very nice. Our little dog was very well behaved and enjoyed his holiday too. The stable is in good walking distance to everywhere in Southend. We walked miles both ways on the beach. Luckily we came before 1st May because after that till September dogs are not allowed on the beaches. And that would have been a game changer for us. All in all it is a lovely little cottage. Designed beautifully well done.

Beautiful property in stunning surroundings with a great host. Super comfy beds with crisp white quality linen and it was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Lovely to have our own outside space and the views from the upstairs patio windows were gorgeous. Our visit was for a family members funeral and this property gave us the peaceful bolthole we needed.

We had the most wonderful stay at Alice and Alan's cozy cowshed! The space was incredibly warm and inviting, providing a perfect retreat for both of us. Alice and Alan were exceptional hosts, always available to offer assistance and making sure we had everything we needed. They even allowed us to use their beautiful garden, which was such a lovely bonus. One of the highlights was when Alice and Alan kindly offered to drop us into town, saving us the hassle of getting a taxi. They also gave us great recommendations for cabs to get home later on. The stay was extremely nice, and we absolutely loved every moment. We would 100% go back and highly recommend this wonderful spot to anyone looking for a cozy, relaxing getaway!

A cute lodge set amid the vast countryside. Calm and tranquil yet close to the bustling town of Rye and Camber Sands! Couldn’t have asked for more, especially on our trip where we had e does sun and lambs bouncing around at our doorstep! Lovely little break, would highly recommend

We took my wife’s parents for a weekend away,not too far from home, but out in the Kent countryside. The barn was as described and as shown in the pictures. The instructions to find and access the property were clear and accurate. The barn is very warm, which was nice as travelling with elderly parents. Beds were comfortable and everything was clean and tidy. There is a nice kitchen which we only used for breakfast but there was everything available if you wanted to bring food and cook. There are plenty of DVD’s, books and local information available if you wanted to read or the weather is bad and you stay in. This is the perfect space for 4 people with two bedrooms both of which are en-suite. Parking is right next to the building and it’s easy to get to local attractions. Perfect stay even if the weather was freezing cold. Thank you.

Sophie & Ed were absolutely amazing hosts, nothing was too much trouble. Their Barn is beautifully designed and set out, it is comfortable and had everything and more in it that I needed for a four night stay. The location was a 2 min drive from where I needed to be so it was perfect for travelling to and fro and lovely to come back to after a long day to rest in. Thank you.

The Hayloft is a lovely cosy relaxing place, Amanda is very friendly and welcoming and has lots of knowledge of the local area, we had a great break with our children and dogs, watching the chickens in the garden and being able to see the horses from the kitchen window is a bonus , can’t wait to visit again .

Very happy with our choice of the Cottage, very close to our own properties , so more than likely we will try and stay there again not because what i just said but its so peaceful as well and that is very important to us as a family, it also contained all and more desirable amenities you need. Perhaps if there is something I would add to the cottage service I personally would in a hot day of a guest arriving,( like us) I would make sure to leave the windows upstairs open to create a cooler ambience . When we arrived ( end of the day) it was just like in Dubai -) very hot! Many thanks

I visited there with my parents and my baby and we absolutely loved this place. Beautiful house with everything you need, should say more beautiful than the pictures. We were lucky to see sunshine and the snowfall both during our stay and with those large glass floor to ceiling windows it was pleasure. The house was very spacious and my baby loved it as he got so much to explore and running around. Tony was very helpful and responsive for any queries we had. We will definitely visit again.

We had a fantastic stay in the beautiful Sussex countryside. The accommodation was perfect for our family, our toddler loved the horses and friendly dogs. Nick and Nicole were super hosts and we appreciated extras like a welcome hamper and dressing gowns. Although the weather was cold and wet, the cottage was very warm and cosy: a real home from home! would definitely recommend and love to come back sometime!

The barn was beautifully situated and very peaceful. We loved the family dogs and cats coming to visit us. The barn is right on the Cuckoo trail and so we enjoyed walking along enjoying the spring sunshine . A really lovely pub in Old Heathfield called The Star Inn is definitely worth a visit, it's warm, cosy and very friendly. The food was delicious so well worth the short walk from the barn. A couple of nights in this beautiful setting was just perfect.

We had a WONDERFUL 4-night stay at Caroline’s while visiting family. Communication with Caroline was excellent. The space is a clean, cozy, yet spacious, beautifully converted barn/shed—thoughtfully laid out and decorated. Tons of natural light from the windows (all with shades for nighttime privacy) and a stunning view of the farmland. SOOO quiet, peaceful, and private—hard to believe we were still so close to town. The bed was very comfortable, and the large tub and shower were a plus. The kitchen had everything we needed. The home sits on the host’s property, next to their stunning modern farmhouse. Parking was super easy—right out front. We didn't want to leave, and we’ll definitely stay again. Thank you, Caroline!

A very peaceful location, Charlie very kindly allowed an early check-in which helped with your travel plans. We walked into a warm home, clean and quaintly decorated, that was both inviting and relaxing. Charlie also ensured we were supplied with some delicious essentials! Can't recommend this location enough.

Beautiful spacious house surrounded by beautiful views of nature, in which we enjoyed walking and exploring the woodland. Lynda was kind, helpful and also provided some delicious hand made treats - thank you Lynda, the cake was yummy. The whole family loved the place, beautiful energy and we felt right at home. We would definitely go back.

I stayed at Andrew's place for a week with my husband and 3 year old son and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The open kitchen/lounge area works well with young children. The wood burner had a sturdy safety gate and all plug sockets had protective covers. It's well placed for visiting the local area. Plenty of national trust properties nearby and we drove the Heart of Kent route one day. Port Lympe zoo is also brilliant. Unfortunately, our son became ill during our stay so we had to cut our stay short by a couple of days. Despite that, my son hasn't stopped talking about our stay at Long Stable and will be booking a return stay in the near future. Marie, Oli and Alfie.

Perfect stay! Alison and her husband are lovely people who were very helpful during our stay, easy check in and welcomed with some wine and biscuits 🍪 The barn is lovely with all the kitchen essentials you would need, lovely comfortable bed and board games. Loved the sheep view from the bedroom window, great powerful hot shower and good WiFi. The place was easily accessible we just had an issue with our maps but one quick call to Alison and she came out in the rain to find us. Great location, 25 minute drive to the Seven Sisters car park, walking distance to the pub just down the road. Will definitely be returning
