Lovely views even in the rain!

I had a great 2 night stay in Alison's cosy little cottage. The location was good, with fabulous views over the Beauly Firth and the surrounding, peaceful, countryside. Alison was a welcoming host, providing everything needed for a short stay, in addition to sharing some fascinating information on the surrounding area and history. After a long hike in the mountains, being welcomed back in with a cup of tea and biscuits was just the ticket! Gladly recommend.

Absolutely fantastic house, spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated, is kitted with everything you need and more! Such a stunning location, quiet and peaceful and relaxing far from local amenities, we used the Tesco at Dingwall for a big click and collect shop at the start of our stay. I would highly recommend Alison's place. 10/10 :)

We had a wonderful stay with Neil, Hazel and their cute dog Riach! I would recommend this B&B. Nice room with an ensuite bathroom with a bath only. great breakfast cooked by Neil every morning paired with a good conversation about whisky or food. It's a perfect b&b for visiting al the whisky's distilleries.

Really friendly hosts, they welcomed me in after a hard three days walking in the rain, and dried my boots out for me before I set off again the next morning. The room was lovely, really comfortable and pristine. There was even a posh coffee machine in my room, which was a nice touch. The bathroom was spotless and the bath was very welcome after quite a few miles walking. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone who is walking in this area for a comfortable stop off.

The cabin we had on our visit was clean and warm and had everything we needed for our overnight stay. Although it was cold and windy outside the cabin was warm and cosy . Paul and Claire sent us all the information we needed about checkin well in advance of our arrival and answered our questions quickly. This is a great place to stay overnight on our trips north.

Loch Ness

It was a lovely stay at lock Chambers on Loch ness, Our room having a lovely view over fort Augustus. Plenty of pubs and restaurants nearby for lovely meals and drinks. It was a lovely stay!

The Boathouse Guest house was an ideal stop along our cycling tour of Scotland. It's located in the heart of town and not far from some beautiful walking trails and cycle route 7. Harry was a lovely host and made us an amazing breakfast! The room itself was very comfortable. A little dated, but well maintained and clean. Would love to visit again!

Harry was very welcoming. The location of the place was perfect for us - close to the community hall where we were attending a wedding cèilidh. DELICIOUS breakfast and very generous portions. A quiet room and we slept well. Thank you!

I booked this the night before we stayed & I was very happy it was available! Harry was friendly & helpful. The room & bed was comfy & cosy. The breakfast was generous & tasty! Harry helped us with directions the next day.

Loch Oich

We only stayed one night in a drive from Edinburgh to Isle of Skye to break up the drive. It’s more if a hotel room than a home, but it was clean and warm with comfy beds and a great shower! Wouldn’t use it for a long term stay as there’s no kitchen facilities, but for a night it was perfect.
