2nd time at Vera's place. Location is amazing and a great base for exploring Culbin forest and surrounding areas. Planning to return! Charming house in Fishertown.

From the moment we arrived we knew we’d booked the right house for our family get together, it was perfect with a lovely enclosed garden making it safe for dogs and our granddaughter. It was in our very favourite part of Aviemore and we loved everything about our stay. Sarah was super helpful and always responded to any questions I had. We’d totally recommend The Squirrels and would love to stay again.

WOW, this place is smack dab in the middle of all the stuff. It is a perfect location for walking and exploring. We were there over the New Year and even saw the fireworks! Bathrooms are odd but doable if you have a family like ours that doesn't mind the sharing bit. The kitchen is perfectly laid out and a great place to sit, snack, and visit after a whole day of exploring. We also had a rented car, and a dedicated parking spot was vital! The location alone made it worth it; all the other things about this apartment were just an additional bonus! Much thanks to the host, he indeed is a SUPER host!

We stayed at the house for the Inverness Half Marathon weekend and it was ideal. A walkable distance from the leisure centre or the town centre, it is in a quiet neighbourhood and exactly as described. Darren was very helpful in advance and kept in touch about our arrival- check in was seamless. The house was very clean and the beds are comfortable. We found it ideal for chilling out in the living room in the evening too. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting a base to explore the surrounding area or wanting to attend an event nearby.

stayed in this apartment while in inverness for work. would highly recommend. Very quiet area of Inverness, a short distance from most places youd need to go. very clean and welcoming apartment exactly as described. thoroughly enjoyed my stay, and would be happy to do so again.

Beautiful home and spacious. Lots of open areas around and quiet. The house has lots of room and bedrooms. Well set up for couples or more. Carolyn was very responsive to questions and checked on us to make sure we made it there ok. the place is a little hard to find, but directions got us there without issue. I would definitely recommend, home was very clean and stocked with basics.

Wee House is a great place to stay, well equipped, very cosy especially with the log burner (logs and kindling all supplied), and a comfy king-size bed. A number of books, maps, walk suggestions were all in the house. Heather has included so many little extras and excellent instructions for everything, and the 'goodies' in the kitchen and fridge were very much welcomed. We arrived late at night and in not great weather, and Heather had gone before us to unlock the property so we wouldn't have to fumble in the dark and sleet for the key box. Very much appreciated. Even though this was January, there was a lot to do in the area although not enough snow for skiing... but not Heather's fault!!! Some great walks, even in the snow, lovely eating places.. Cairngorm Hotel did a very tasty Burns meal. All in all a great stay that we wished could have been longer.

Amazing place! Amanda is a brilliant hostess, had sent detailed email about how to enter the apartment, parking and how things work in the house. The house was clean, warm and was equiped with everything that we needed for the stay. We also enjoyed our breakfast by the river. Would definetely come back!

Lovely apartment with modern amenities -- clean, well-stocked, and comfortable. We loved the location -- easily walkable to activities and attractions but its location across the river (it's just a few blocks from a pedestrian bridge) meant it was still quiet and peaceful. Paula and Simona were friendly and helpful.

Tout était parfait. Les lieux correspondaient en tous points à la description. Charles a été très avenant pour nous accueillir et réactif aux messages. L'abbaye, son parc et la piscine étaient superbes! Étant hors saison et en plein hiver, nous avions l'impression d'avoir les lieux pour nous. Il faut juste savoir que tous les établissements ne sont pas ouverts hors vacances à cette période. Mais ce n'était pas un problème, d'autant que la cuisine est parfaitement équipée. Bref un énorme coup de cœur!

Karen's cottage is walking distance to the river and lots of nice places to eat. The centre of town is also walking distance. The cottage is beautifully decorated and very clean. Karen kept in touch and was very helpful. Would definitely stay again.

A very clean and tidy apartment, well located in a quiet location and yet also for easy access to the city centre (and half marathon start and finish). Owner was very helpful, proactive and friendly.

We had a lovely relaxing time at this fine establishment. The accomodation was so comfortable and homely. Don made us feel very welcome and provided easy to follow instructions for directions and use of the facilities. The location is ideal to walk into the town and to visit some beautiful spots. It's ideal for birdwatching and beautiful walks. Don was approachable and accommodated us for an additional night at short notice, would highly recommend and will hopefully visit again.

Amazing little place - an absolute gem! Perfect escape and handy for where I was working. Couldn’t have asked for a better host. Short commute to Inverness (30 mins) for wide range of shops etc if you wanted more to do too.

We absolutely loved our stay at Elaine’s. Crown is a great place to be, just a few minutes walk from the station, and everything else in Inverness. But still really quiet. We felt right at home in the flat, it had all we needed. Would definitely recommend if you want to explore the area.

This is a warm, cosy, comfortable hideaway in a quiet street, not far from the attractions of Aviemore and the surrounding area. A very comfortable bed and clean, spacious kitchen were a pleasure to return to after long days out exploring. Fraser was very responsive and provides all the information needed for a relaxing, comfortable stay. A nice view of the mountains from the window and perfectly dark skies to see the Northern Lights from the carpark at the back of the building were nice bonuses. We'd love to visit Aviemore again and would definitely stay here if available- the perfect weekend break, not far from but so very different to home.

Had a lovely stay at Caroline's place. It was in a great, quiet location for visiting Inverness. The apartment was clean, cosy and very well equipped. Bed (including sofa bed) was really comfy. The parking outside with the permit was really helpful.

The place felt homely & cosy . Tastefully decorated and absolutely spotless . Excellent location with plenty of parking . Lots of added extras & essentials left for our stay , tea bags, coffee , breakfast items , washing up liquid , foil , kitchen roll are just some of the items . Katherine was the perfect host keeping in touch from the time of booking . Would highly recommend this property, a perfect place to explore the beautiful Inverness .

sometimes you don't really need to say very much. apartment at Boat of Garten was ideal for us in terms of location. Not far to Aviemore for amenities, provisions etc. Plenty of places to explore in the immediate area and quite close to main roads for going further afield. Accommodation was very good, cosey, clean comfortable and warm.

Very easy to find, and normally straight forward to get parked. Small, cosy studio but it has absolutely everything you need. 10 seconds walk to Crofters, which does wonderful food all day long. The window views are immaculate. It can be a wee bit noisy due to the cafe with lots of activity, but that’s to be expected when you’re in such close proximity. We’ll be back.

We had a great time staying in Stephen’s cosy home. Beautifully decorated and equipped with everything needed and more. Great location and lovely, helpful hosts!
