We had a lovely weekend away at the chocolate house. Ian and Christine were very friendly and welcoming. The house had everything we needed. The fire made it very cosy, the wood was included in the price which was really good. Danny the dog was lovely! The garden was very secure for our dogs and the hosts were more than happy for them to roam around. Pubs within walking distance and we found everyone friendly! Pandy inn in Dorstone is worth a visit but best to book. They squeezed us in after a lovely walk from Arthur’s stone, which was very kind and service was amazing! Also very dog friendly.

5 stars all round. Highly recommended. This was a great place to stay. An easy walk from the train station (<10 min). In the centre of Charlbury, only minutes from nice pubs, restaurants and the local co-op, but still very peaceful and quiet. In a lovely garden with own outside deck and table. Bright and airy. Spacious enough for two. Good shower. Comfortable king bed with crisp linen. Cozy and comfortable sitting room. Charlbury is a beautiful town with easy train and bus links to London, Oxford, Woodstock (Blenheim), etc. And gorgeous surrounding countryside with great walks. Martin and Helena were generous friendly hosts. We really appreciated a late check out so that we could enjoy a leisurely countryside walk on our last morning. Many thanks!

We had a relaxing long weekend. The cottage was easy to find with parking. It had a lovely private fenced garden that allowed our two little dogs to wander. It was bright, airy, very clean, comfortable and warm. The wine was a lovely surprise on arrival thank you ☺️. It was home from home. It was very central to places to visit. With Didley squat farm shop and Chipping Norton only a 7 minute drive away. Thank you Nicky for making us feel welcome.

Absolutely brilliant place. Nicola was a fantastic host. Breakfast was a lovely touch and very appreciated. Would highly recommend to anyone ! And the hot tub was a brilliant facility to have :) Would 100% stay again !!!

Lovely stay at David’s place. The property is wonderful, the grounds incredible and the views stunning. David and his family made us feel incredibly welcome and were available if we needed anything. Lots of information provided by David and in the house and we would highly recommend the walks in the local area. The Ring O Bells pub is a beautiful 30 minute walk and does brilliant food. Bath is an easy 15 minute drive. Would highly recommend this place.

Lovely cosy place to stay, spotlessly clean with everything you need. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, great location, peaceful and quiet, a great base to explore surrounding areas. Claire and Mike are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend, will return if in area again.

A really nice place, with a great host!

First time staying here, but we visit the area usually twice a year for family living in Llantwit Major. We loved the apartment, great facilities and very clean. We would definitely stay again. Short walk to town centre and a few nice pubs and a lovely new italian / portuguese restaurant

This was my second visit to Rebecca's. Rebecca is extremely helpful and responsive to any queries. The flat is spotless and well equipped. Will no doubt stay again!

Me and my partner stayed for three nights and we were so glad we picked this property when we booked. The place was easy and clear to find and check in was easy - we were even greeted with a bottle of Prosecco and crisps! The property was spotless and had absolutely everything we needed, even down to a loaf of bread and a few essentials in the fridge. The hot tub was lovely - one of the reasons we booked, and was exactly what we needed. Hannah was a lovely host, letting us know where she was if we needed her for anything and gave us some lovely recommendations of places to try in the area. We would definitely stay again in the future😊

Was perfect for a Valentines getaway! We are so grateful to Sam and Adrian for extending their hospitality, they truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and to make sure we had plenty of information about the surrounding area! We have to give our thanks also to William who provided lots of snacks and drinks through his tuck shop :) The barn itself was cosy yet spacious, the bed was super comfortable and water pressure in the shower was decent. The kitchen was fully-equipped for us to make a beef wellington on Valentines night!! Even the temperatures were near freezing - that didn’t stop us from taking full advantage of the fire place out on the patio! Overall we had a wonderful stay and would love to come and stay again! Thank you again Sam, Adrian and William!

The property was every bit as good as we hoped it would be, plus it was comfortable and homely. The fixtures and fittings were all of good quality, and we particularly liked the double sided wood burner. We made good use of the jacuzzi, which was a nice way to relax after doing lots of walking whilst sightseeing.

Really beautiful location and accommodation. Just what we were looking for! We loved the little garden too which had the sun all day long. Heidili and George were lovely and great hosts. We would stay again here :) Natalie and Theo

We really enjoyed our getaway with our babies and friends to Becky’s house. Great amenities- host was super flexible about giving us access to the pool, we loved the barbecue, pool and hot tub and even met some local cows. Hosts we flexible with an earlier check in time- and we had beautiful weather. Would highly recommend this place to all!

This place really was gorgeous. The check in institutions were super clear and we were blown away when we got in. Gorgeous accomodation and gorgeous surroundings! It was a nice 25 minute stroll into the town centre and we knew exactly where to try thanks to Charlotte's helpful recommendations. Walking the hills was super tiring but the bed was so comfy and just what we needed! Oh and the fresh eggs and bread left for us made the most delicious breakfast 😋 had the best time, would recommend highly!

We had a lovely two night stay at the lodge! The scenery and views were so peaceful and calming. Julia gave us lots of recommendations which we tried to cram into our duration! Perfectly located for lovely walks, and very short distances to nearby hotspots and villages. The hot tub was clean and hot on arrival and was a godsend after a day of hiking! Can’t recommend enough for a quick stay away in the Cotswolds! Can’t wait to return. Thanks Julia!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house had everything we needed and the location was very private, quiet and safe. It was easy to get to from the motorway without having to deal with city centre traffic. The bed was very comfortable and I loved being able to see the stars through the Velux window. above the bed.

The place was spotless, cosy, and incredibly welcoming. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home, especially with the lovely welcome hamper that was thoughtfully provided. The property had all the amenities we could possibly need, making our stay comfortable and hassle-free. We had a lovely 3 nights in peaceful surroundings. New born lambs in the field behind our accomodation which was cosy and very clean with everything we needed. Donna was a friendly host but left us to it which is how I like it. So thoughtful to leave us some welcome goodies in the fridge and roses. The was a comfy bed and sofa bed , kitchen area, beautiful shower room. Good parking. So much to do in the area. Would stay again and thoroughly recommend.
