Had a lovely few days stay. Was a very tranquil location and very relaxing. Stopping by to see the animals on site was a wonderful experience. The kitchen was equiped with enough pans to make meals while we stayed there. The shop was a wonderful touch to pick up produce from the farm or just a few ammenities that might be needed. So relaxing to sit in the hot tub in the evening after exploring local attractions which have very helpfully been highlighted in a small guide. Looking to return in summer to make full use of the bbq on site and firepit.

I would highly recommend this stay for anyone wanting to enjoy their surroundings. We loved the recommendations and took a walk down to the old Linley train station. We loved being able to sit outside and enjoy the views while listening to the birds. The bed is comfortable and the setup works really well for the space. We would love to make another trip for longer than a weekend to explore more of the area and stay here again!

The pictures really don't do it justice. We had an amazing time and there's so much around the area to see, we've not even scratched the surface. We'll definitely be coming back.

We had such a lovely time at the shepherds hut, a perfectly peaceful and quiet get away - just what we needed! Great location for picturesque walks. We walked along Offas Dyke took 2.5 hrs straight from the hut. The local town had everything you needed only a short drive or 20 min walk away. We grabbed a takeaway pizza from Daphnes which was very delicious. Despite wet weather all weekend it did not dampen our spirits. The covered kitchen was a perfect location to cosy up and watch the thunder and lightning. It had everything you needed to make breakfast. The provided bread, bacon, eggs & milk were a lovely addition. The bed was very very comfy and the hut was clean, tidy & cosy. The hill up to the hut is steep but the provided wheelbarrow helped. Leaving in the rain was hilarious.

I had a wonderful stay at the Shepard’s Hut. It was the perfect place to stay whilst working in Cheltenham for a few days. It was quiet and cosy and Rosalind was a friendly and helpful host. I look forward to staying again in the future!

We really enjoyed our stay here! Our dogs absolutely loved the space and it was perfect for them to really stretch their legs. The cabin was super cozy, we stayed during a bit of a temperature drop so it was around -3 at night but the log burner was so warm we didn't even need a jumper on! Along with the temperature drop came some snow and we actually ended up getting stuck on the hill on toward the entrance but Mark answered his phone immediately and rushed down in his Land Rover to give us a tow up and nothing was too much to ask, we felt super accommodated. Thanks again :)

Emily’s place was an ideal getaway, secluded, clean, peaceful the perfect place to unwind for a few days, the hot tub made it extra special, all communication with Emily was excellent, would definitely recommend, will definitely be returning, thank you Emily.

Really lovely few days spent here - I got all the weathers, but it didn't spoil it one bit! Totally secluded, which is what I was after, but still with a proper bathroom and kitchen to hand, to could just completely relax and stay in. Cosy evenings with log burner roaring - very efficient and warmed up the hut quickly! Birds and squirrels visited the feeding station each morning, so felt very Snow White, and could hear owl at nighttime. As in other review: There are no plug sockets - None. So come fully charged and with charged up power packs, in case of emergency if you venture out (though, I recharged at pubs/cafes when I was out!) Beautiful views, quiet, secluded spot - You will completely relax here!

Lovely place, great hosts. Could probably do with curtains and the shower is a little weak but that is nit picking. It is pretty much perfect.

We booked the shepherds hut last minute after our wedding for a short mini moon. Tamara accepted our request very quickly and started heating the hot tub for us! Nothing was too much effort or trouble fornTarama. We were greeted with such friendliness with any encounter. There was a handy little shop there for some essentials but we would still recommend going prepared with some fruit, snacks and a some easy dinners. Fantastic stay here! We loved it. Despite the rain! Thank you for having us!

We had a fantastic stay with Charlotte had everything we needed hot tub was amazing and the location was very peaceful we even got to have a look where the Shepards huts where made. We were made to feel very welcome throughout our stay by all the family including the dogs ! Would love to visit again some time in the future definitely one of the best places we have stayed at in wales :)

Fabulous place can’t rate highly enough, so peaceful and fantastic for nature. The accommodation was spotless and has everything you need as well as some lovely extras like treats for the dogs and marshmallows for the fire. Can’t think of anything we would change and would love to visit again soon, thanks so much to the hosts it was perfect stay.

The Shepherd's Hut has everything you need for luxury camping! Lovely interior with dreamy touches such as sash windows, high-quality bedding, and enamelware. Well designed and clear handbook, and friendly and helpful hosts. We camped in style, cooked outdoors on the butane camping stove, provided, and roasted marshmallows (also provided) at night over the fire pit . It was also classy touch having your own WC and shower allotted to Shepherd's Hut. Fantastic location, 5 minute shuffle to a gravel beach on the banks of the River Wye, great for canoeists or just lazing around watching the swans.

Beautiful hut. Designed, crafted and decorated to a high quality. Lots of privacy, having the oak field all to ourselves...the dogs loved it, as did we. Bob and Lisa were very friendly and hospitable. Highly recommend a stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Rita and David’s shepherds hut. The hut was very easy to find and in such a peaceful pretty little village. David came to greet us and give us some info for the heating and hot water which was really helpful and the welcome guide was also really useful. We had dinner at the Royal Oak which was delicious and they were so friendly in there! We also noted how quiet and peaceful it was as we walked back, so lovely to be away from the constant cars and general noise of a city. We would definitely return to Rita and David’s place, great value for money and a lovely find!

Great shepherds hut for a weekend away in the countryside. Super well equipped and Rosalind communicated super well. Fresh bread and eggs were also a nice touch! Highly recommend.

Our second visit to this stunning hut with astonishing views and it’s just as perfect as the first time we came and just as magical of an experience. Being so close a town but once to pull up you feel like you’ve entered Narnia. Such a peaceful and relaxing place to stay, me and my partner 1000% recommend and will most certainly return. Incredibly friendly and welcoming hosts!

Beth was a brilliant host. My partner and I needed somewhere quiet to just unwind and this place was perfect. Sitting in the hot tub, drinking the views and the beauty of the area was just what we needed. The bird song just topped it of perfectly. Beth was great at communicating and has made her Shepherd's hut perfect, everything we needed was there.

We loved staying at this secluded Shepard's hut tucked in the beautiful rolling hills of the Welsh countryside. The hut was easy to find thanks to Manon's great directions and was in the perfect spot to explore the local area with a great disused railway line just out the doorstep of the hut, as well as being close enough to the coast and Aberystwyth. The hut itself was in immaculate condition, with the perfect use of the small space, it felt spacious and was easily liveable in. It was the little touches that Manon had clearly thought about that made it such a great stay, with a well stocked kitchenette and even hooks to put personalised dressing gowns on when in the hot tub. We don't think we've ever sat in a hot tub with such great views! We would recommend Manon's place to all and will definitely be staying again in the future. Thank you Manon!

Amazing from start to finish Very lucky that the weather was on our side! Just as described. Beautiful place with stunning views and plenty of walks near by. Easy to find as the postcode takes you straight to the location. Amazing place if you have dogs as the outside space is secluded. Even though it’s a working farm, you feel like you have the entire place to yourself Will 100% return

From booking until check out, everything was perfect! Janine was a fantastic host. Full of great advice on walks, where to eat and clear instructions on check in. There were also great instructions in the hut for every single appliance which made our stay stress free! The hut was very comfortable, warm and cozy, and the jacuzzi was just what was needed after a long day exploring and views to die for. Beautiful location ❤️
