Me and my parents booked this place for a night on the way to isle of skye and had the most amazing experience. The airbnb itself was way bigger than expected and was extremely clean. And then the grounds around it were even nicer. I was initially drawn in by the pool but we ended up spending the whole night in the billiard room that’s in the old refractory. The staff at the club is super nice and gives you a tour explaining all the history of the place while showing you to the room. Fort Augustus is also a really cute town to explore. overall the best place I’ve stayed so far in Scotland!!

Great stay at a very family friendly location (great for young children). Very charming location and amazing history if you are into that sort of thing. Host was extremely responsive and helpful. We had one minor hiccup that we resolved very quickly (not at all the host’s fault) and he got back to our inquiry within the half hour. If you are exploring the Great Glen or Loch Ness, I cannot think of a better place to base out of.

We had a wonderful stay at Jennifer’s caravan. The place was spotless, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, making it easy to explore the area. Jennifer was a fantastic host—friendly, responsive, and always happy to help. Communication was excellent from start to finish. We would highly recommend staying here and would definitely book again in the future!

This was our favorite stay of our trip to London and Scotland. The apartment is on the top two floors with a wrap-around deck on three sides, offering views of Loch Ness and the surrounding hillside. The kitchen has a large Aga stove, which is perfect in the winter for heating and drying out clothing from rainy adventures. The whole Abbey looks like a Harry Potter movie set, which tied into our other stops on the trip. We used the game rooms at night, and it was a quick walk down a path to town. A real person checks you in and gets you all settled, which is great because we were a little concerned about how to find our unit. This stay was everything we love about an AirBNB over a hotel.

We had a lovely stay at this apartment. Perfect location right on Loch Ness with plenty of indoor and outdoor activities to keep the kids entertained. Highly recommend!!

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in der alten Abtei sehr geliebt - wir haben uns ein bisschen gefühlt wie Harry Potter in Hogwarts. Die Wohnung war sauber, gute ausgestattet und sehr geräumig. Die Außenanlage der Abtei ist ein Traum und der Pool ganz wunderbar!

A wonderful location at the south west tip of Loch Ness. We had a peaceful stay to celebrate Hogmanay. The Boathouse Restaurant food was great and the staff at both the restaurant and Highland Club were friendly and welcoming. The apartment was beautifully appointed with good quality furnishings and fully equipped kitchen. Highly recommended.

This place is so amazing with Loch Ness and so cool Abbey. Beautiful environment. Feeling Harry Potter life.

The Highland club was a wonderful spot to stay in with the beautiful view of Loch Ness a few steps from your door. I love being in nature so this was perfect holiday. Very responsive host and the staff were wonderful.

Stunning location and the apartment itself was great, aswell as the hot tub, didn’t have any problems with the place at all. David and Morv were very accommodating and friendly hosts and if you like dogs their two are some of the most lovely well natured friendly dogs I’ve ever met. Would 100% recommend staying here.

Our time at the Highland Club and in the Scriptorium was absolutely amazing! We enjoyed every minute and were always excited to return "home" and unwind. The atmosphere was incredibly romantic, with beautiful architecture that felt cozy and inviting. The entire vibe of the abbey was nostalgic, making it a joy to stroll through, especially with Loch Ness right there to offer stunning views. The facilities were superb, from the pool and steam room to the lounge where we enjoyed games of pool and chess. Once again, the rooms were simply beautiful and perfect for relaxation. It served as a great starting point for exploring the Highlands. What a charming little place! We truly enjoyed our stay and are so glad we chose such a lovely location!

Tolle Unterkunft!

We really enjoyed our stay and loved the ability to bring our dogs who loved walking along the Great Glen Way! The accommodation was clean and had all the amenities that we needed. We had thought it was a little more rural than it was but the complex was nice and safe and we loved the pool and chess ♟️ we will look forward to coming back!

Beautiful, cosy cottage in a great location for day trips. Walkable to the beach, play parks (if you have kids) and amenities. Quirky layout within the cottage. Cinema room great. Anthony was extremely helpful and responsive. Only down side for us was the lack of space in the kitchen for storage of our food. The cupboards were very well stocked with everything you could possibly need however no free space to store cupboard goods.

Absolutely fabulous stay at The Broch. The accommodation is immaculate and has everything you need. David was on hand to answer any queries and got back to us immediately when questions asked. The swimming pool was amazing also and our little boy absolutely loved it - fab that you get slots to yourself. The only thing we would suggest was possibly blinds in the living/bedroom area. Because the building is all glass, it’s was uncomfortably warm inside and it was quite difficult to sleep! Minor thing for such a wonderful stay and will definitely be returning with the rest of our family. Highly recommend and well worth the money.

This was one of our favourite stays on our trip. So much charm in this historic house with all the renovations that made this house a perfect and comfortable stay for our group of 8. Private but walking distance into town and shops, I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We hugely enjoyed our stay at Birch Cottage, so much so that we extended it by an extra day to make the most of it. The cottage was very clean and tidy and the kitchen well equipped. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas which was a lovely touch and made it feel even more cosy! Although there are other cottages, it was so peaceful and quiet. The views from the cottage are beautiful and so many nice walks in the area. Lots of good recommendations in the guest information folder, including walks to Uath Lochans and the walk at the back of the cottages, as well as the butchers in Kingussie. Would highly recommend staying here!

We had a wonderful stay at Angela’s cosy cottage. We had everything we needed, we appreciated the Highland bathroom products and the beautiful log fire. It’s a great location for us arriving by train and with good access to the shops, especially the very useful butchers, veggies and pie shop. Also there’s a very good bakers. There are lots of fantastic and varied walks from Pitlochry, mountains, riverside, moorland and woods. We’d love to come back.

Really lovely place to spend some time with the family - ground floor access was perfect for the less mobile members of our party and the underfloor heating was great! So quiet and away from it all and great for the dogs as well - plenty of enclosed space for them to run about and not far from some lovely country walks. A few minor niggles with the property but nothing to detract from the scale of the place. We were a party of 7 and it could easily sleep 10.
