Lovely area with great views, the beach was just a few minutes walk from the front door. The included hot breakfast was fab and the staff very friendly. Room was very clean and comfortable. Will for sure be back in the summer sometime and would recommend.

Gorgeous place and lovely room. Only complaint was the show was in a fixed high position and had to use the shower head by hand. Needs a variable height fixing. Paint splatters all over floor of bathroom and bathroom wasn’t very modern but it’s still good. Room we got was a lot nicer than the one we thought we were getting from photos on listing but it looked like lots of different rooms were on the listing! Lovely view from the room and kettle and tea/coffee bits were really handy in the mornings. Good location right next to beach and good parking. Gutted we didn’t get to try the £10pp all you can eat breakfast. Bar area looked lovely but we didn’t use it. Everything seemed neat and the bed and bedding were very comfy and good linens. Great for a girlie weekend away and would definitely stay again if we’re ever back in the area. Free bottled water in room was also a nice addition for a room that was only £85 per night! The Boathouse Guest house was an ideal stop along our cycling tour of Scotland. It's located in the heart of town and not far from some beautiful walking trails and cycle route 7. Harry was a lovely host and made us an amazing breakfast! The room itself was very comfortable. A little dated, but well maintained and clean. Would love to visit again!

Harry was very welcoming. The location of the place was perfect for us - close to the community hall where we were attending a wedding cèilidh. DELICIOUS breakfast and very generous portions. A quiet room and we slept well. Thank you!

I booked this the night before we stayed & I was very happy it was available! Harry was friendly & helpful. The room & bed was comfy & cosy. The breakfast was generous & tasty! Harry helped us with directions the next day.

We only stayed one night in a drive from Edinburgh to Isle of Skye to break up the drive. It’s more if a hotel room than a home, but it was clean and warm with comfy beds and a great shower! Wouldn’t use it for a long term stay as there’s no kitchen facilities, but for a night it was perfect.

Absolutely beautiful old traditional Scottish hotel, lovely helpful staff, comfy bedroom and the best breakfast iv ever had anywhere in the country 😋 if we're ever back this way again we will definitely stay here x

The Oaks has been a cute B&B. Everything has been super clean and there was quite a good snack and breakfast variety. Carly also made us some space to dry some of our clothes. Overall a lovely experience and a lovely host!

The hosts were friendly and helpful, the location quiet with great views over the lake. Off-street parking. If staying in Room 5 and ordering the Queen bed option, which comprises two singles pushed together, note that the beds do slide apart a little when slept on. Stores and pubs 5 minutes drive away. My partner and I stayed here for one night as it was a stop off point for our road trip. The hot tub was just what we needed after a day of walking and it did not disappoint. The location was lovely and peaceful and we found a great restaurant near the beach. We would definitely recommend and would stay here again.
