Me and my parents booked this place for a night on the way to isle of skye and had the most amazing experience. The airbnb itself was way bigger than expected and was extremely clean. And then the grounds around it were even nicer. I was initially drawn in by the pool but we ended up spending the whole night in the billiard room that’s in the old refractory. The staff at the club is super nice and gives you a tour explaining all the history of the place while showing you to the room. Fort Augustus is also a really cute town to explore. overall the best place I’ve stayed so far in Scotland!!

This place was a really great little getaway for me and my boyfriend. It was peaceful and private and super pretty with everything we needed. Shared sauna and cinema room were a really great bonus and private while in use by us. A great place we’d love to visit again.

Great stay at a very family friendly location (great for young children). Very charming location and amazing history if you are into that sort of thing. Host was extremely responsive and helpful. We had one minor hiccup that we resolved very quickly (not at all the host’s fault) and he got back to our inquiry within the half hour. If you are exploring the Great Glen or Loch Ness, I cannot think of a better place to base out of.

This was our favorite stay of our trip to London and Scotland. The apartment is on the top two floors with a wrap-around deck on three sides, offering views of Loch Ness and the surrounding hillside. The kitchen has a large Aga stove, which is perfect in the winter for heating and drying out clothing from rainy adventures. The whole Abbey looks like a Harry Potter movie set, which tied into our other stops on the trip. We used the game rooms at night, and it was a quick walk down a path to town. A real person checks you in and gets you all settled, which is great because we were a little concerned about how to find our unit. This stay was everything we love about an AirBNB over a hotel.

Love the location. Hospitality was excellent. We traveled with two kids and there was gift baskets for both kids upon arrival. Also had milk in fridge and a welcome basket. We also enjoyed the pool! One thing we didn't like was the doors to the bedrooms were really heavy and it gave it a closed in dungeon feel. Also being on the top floor beware of the steps. Overall beautiful location and great for the four of us!

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in dieser großartigen und liebevoll eingerichteten, geräumigen Unterkunft sehr genossen und können sie nur jedem wärmstens ans Herz legen. In der Wohnung war alles vorhanden, was man für einen entspannten Aufenthalt braucht und noch mehr inklusive sehr großzügigen Complimentary basket! Alles war makellos sauber und wir wurden sehr herzlich mit einem informativen Rundgang durchs Gebäude empfangen. Die Abtei ist ein einzigartiges Gebäude - toll zu sehen, wie Altes so durchdacht und hochwertig erhalten bleibt!

We had a lovely stay at this apartment. Perfect location right on Loch Ness with plenty of indoor and outdoor activities to keep the kids entertained. Highly recommend!!

The Highland club was a wonderful spot to stay in with the beautiful view of Loch Ness a few steps from your door. I love being in nature so this was perfect holiday. Very responsive host and the staff were wonderful.

Our time at the Highland Club and in the Scriptorium was absolutely amazing! We enjoyed every minute and were always excited to return "home" and unwind. The atmosphere was incredibly romantic, with beautiful architecture that felt cozy and inviting. The entire vibe of the abbey was nostalgic, making it a joy to stroll through, especially with Loch Ness right there to offer stunning views. The facilities were superb, from the pool and steam room to the lounge where we enjoyed games of pool and chess. Once again, the rooms were simply beautiful and perfect for relaxation. It served as a great starting point for exploring the Highlands. What a charming little place! We truly enjoyed our stay and are so glad we chose such a lovely location!

We would really like to thank Paula and Robert for such a great stay - they were brilliant hosts that went over and above to make sure we had a great experience. I would highly recommend staying here, the cottage is beautiful and well looked after, the scenery is also stunning. We felt very relaxed even with a toddler! We are already planning a time to return, thanks again!

We loved our stay in The Millie. The house is just beautiful and it felt like home for the week. There was everything we needed for a great Christmas stay for two families, the house was warm and cozy and with enough space for everyone.

This was one of our favourite stays on our trip. So much charm in this historic house with all the renovations that made this house a perfect and comfortable stay for our group of 8. Private but walking distance into town and shops, I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We hugely enjoyed our stay at Birch Cottage, so much so that we extended it by an extra day to make the most of it. The cottage was very clean and tidy and the kitchen well equipped. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas which was a lovely touch and made it feel even more cosy! Although there are other cottages, it was so peaceful and quiet. The views from the cottage are beautiful and so many nice walks in the area. Lots of good recommendations in the guest information folder, including walks to Uath Lochans and the walk at the back of the cottages, as well as the butchers in Kingussie. Would highly recommend staying here!

Great property very well set out and a great location too just a ten min walk from the centre of town! Would definitely recommend!

Perfect New Year Escape. The Clunie Dam lodge provided the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable New Year celebration with family. We loved the cozy atmosphere, especially the log burner. The location was ideal for exploring the Scottish countryside. The hosts were welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend.

absolutely beautiful stay 💕 out family had the best time away this weekend. the house has everything and more you could need, especially the kitchen! we love to cook and the little bits are usually overlooked in other places we've stayed but not here! Hosts were very communicative, instructions were clear, the home was spotless and we just generally had a wonderful stay! all our friends and family online have messaged us for the details to book! cinema, hot tub and sauna were such a bonus! the kids are had so many games and toys for little ones. Everything was so well thought out. can't recommend enough!!!
