Great value for a lovely quiet retreat for the weekend, easy to get around the North Cornish coast from the location. Accomodation was spotless and very comfortable, would happily stay again as it offered all we need.

We had a gorgeous stay at Shuttaford Farm. There are so many lovely touches in the barn that you feel right at home, but it all feels very special and thoughtful. Fran was a terrific host - responsive and friendly, and even leant me a spare pair of walking boots when I realised I’d left mine at home! The surrounding area is just stunning - highly recommend a walk through Hembury Woods. Highly recommended for a family trip.

We have just returned home after our fabulous stay at the Long Barn. My 3 boys (10,6,4) had the time of their lives this holiday, with a huge thanks to Sara and Rob for helping to make our stay in Cornwall really special. The barn itself is beautiful, in gorgeous surroundings and spotlessly clean. The decoration is tasteful and homely, with fresh local flowers in each room. We were treated to a new wood fired hot tub, which we enjoyed in the peaceful surroundings whilst gazing at the stars at night. Every morning the boys were able to feed the farm animals, with Rob, who was so kind and patient with our children. The boys spent lots of time playing in the play barn, making friends with the other children staying at the site and making use of the brilliant games and activities, we had to bribe them to leave at the end with promises to return! Being in such a fab location with access to the stunning Cornish countryside and local towns made this holiday one of the best ever.

brilliant stay at poppy's barn. we're a family of 5 and it felt cosy and homely. the kids loved playing in the garden and slept well in their twin room. beautiful views and peaceful nights, we rested well in the house. in the area, we thoroughly enjoyed exploring trebarwith strand beach at low tide. we visited tintagel, boscastle and port Isaac. great little villages near by. thank you for having us!

The surroundings were lovely and a large enclosed garden was great for the dog and our 3 children. we had many a happy night in the hot tub. Lots of things for the kids to play with. We drove to all the local beaches would say most things are within an hour's drive and would recommend watermouth castle as a day out if you have kids!

Beautiful place to stay. Kim been very welcomed,very polite. She made home made cake for my daughter's birthday. Absolutely loved to stay there. My daughters was over the moon,seeing and feeding the chickens, that made her day for 110% Thank you for having us :))))

The cottage is in a lovely location with great views from one of the double bedrooms and the conservatory and driveway. It felt very homely with the fire very useful, comfy sofas, thick stone walls. Kitchen is a little small but has everything needed, and has a spacious dining area attached. Comfortably fits 6, even 7 with sofa bed, though the two single bed mattresses feel a bit old. It was at a discounted price however with some more work said to be needed. Lovely woodland walk on the doorstep and coast very close. Very quiet and peaceful. Didn’t find pre-warned damp much of an issue. Amy was helpful and attentive though being in a different time zone. Appreciated the private space. A good find.

Hallagather Farmhouse was a very successful find for our family Christmas week. It fitted us all in nicely - 6 adults, 4 pre-teen children & 2 dogs - all had lovely bedrooms with an en-suite or dedicated bathroom - plus one downstairs. Plenty of open space downstairs and a huge kitchen with the Aga keeping it warm all the time. The wood-burning stoves kept us all cosy when not exploring the short walk down to the beach and Combe Barton Inn, the coastal path, Tintagel, Padstow & the local beaches etc. Becky provided a Christmas tree and was a good host. I'd thoroughly recommend Hallagather - it certainly suited our three families & our pets!

We have had the perfect weekend at Owl hut! The hut really is out of this world exceptionally clean very well presented with the lovely little added extras. Nat and Mark have both been so lovely! We look forward to returning we highly recommend!

Wonderful quirky place to stay with the family, lots of outdoor activities that kept us busy, sauna was a novelty. The children loved the animals especially collected and eating freshly laid eggs. Great place for a little family adventure. Beds were comfy and it was really peaceful sitting by the fire pit toasting marshmallows in the evenings.

Absolute incredible stay at this air bnb, amazing and very friendly host. Super easy check in and host was very helpful with local recommendations for food spots. Layout of property was immaculate with all the amenities needed and more ! Host went above and beyond as I had said it was my girlfriend’s birthday when booking and upon arrival found decorations and a cake! 🎂 absolute 10/10 for this air BnB and would 100% stay again! Glad to have returned we came back to Halamaling for rare in this day solitude and peace and quiet. Liz‘s place has this in abundance spotlessly clean. Recommended. Ian & Julie

Ruth was incredibly welcoming and was easy to reach. The cabin is super cute and cozy!!! The area itself is gorgeous and the view is super relaxing. Ruth gave us fresh eggs one morning and they were scrumptious. A lovely stay overall!

What a wonderful place to stay, in a beautiful part of the world. I have just spent a week in Resparva and it was spot on for my needs. it's fairly secluded so you need a vehicle to get anywhere, but that suited my needs perfectly. The property is well appointed and has everything you need for a short or lengthy stay. Well designed, decorated and furnished. I only have one gripe and that is that the Tv is really small, this wont bother most, but i did spend evenings on my own, and its nice to have a bit of tv to watch. Hosts were super friendly and communicated well. 10 out of 10 for me and i have stayed in a lot of places.

Had the pleasure of staying here for the weekend. The house was absolutely gorgeous and so cosy, the view from the kitchen with the horses and fields behind were so lovely to wake up to. Fran and Phil were very responsive and so lovely, they gave us so much information and a guide with things to do in the local area, they were even kind enough to let us check out later. The bed was one of the most comfortable i’ve slept in and the scones, jam and cream were a perfect touch. The hot tub and bbq were also great. Would highly recommend this place to anyone and will hopefully be back soon:)

We absolutely loved staying at the shepherd's hut. It was incredibly clean and beautifully styled and decorated. The box of essentials along with water and milk in the fridge was so lovely. The scenery was breathtaking and incredibly peaceful. Charlie was a great host with spot on communication. You won't be disappointed staying here!

A blissful retreat, with absolutely stunning views. The Bothy is cozy and well kitted out, and the hosts are incredibly thoughtful.

We really enjoyed our stay. A lovely calm place to stay and our daughter enjoyed seeing the chickens in the garden each morning and evening. The place was very clean and well equipped. The drinking water was beautiful from their own well. Our hosts Lindsey and David were very friendly and welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed during the bad weather. Would certainly recommend to others as a great place to stay

Amazingly beautiful location, it felt so peaceful! The accommodation was perfect, they have clearly put a lot of thought into what you'll need and how you'll use the place. The alpacas are fabulous! They are so fun to feed! Thank you so much for an awesome stay x

what a fantastic place! the cabin is beautiffuly decorated, squeaky clean and very comfortable, fully equipped with everything you could need. both beds are super comfy. the hot tub and fire pit made evenings an absolute pleasure. it was so quiet and peaceful. lovely walks nearby. highly recommend!

Great place to stay, really welcoming and helpful. The directions provided were very accurate and useful if you want to avoid some of the smaller local roads. The chalet was lovely and well presented and the onsite shop good for picking up those items you might have forgotten to bring. It has a very peaceful and calm feel, overall a wonderful place.

Spent the week at Michael and Caroline’s cosy barn and couldn’t have asked for a better time. Such a serene location where you’re immersed in nature. It was lovely to hear the birds chirping, the river running and the wind through the trees. The barn itself was very cosy, especially the new king size bed they’ve put in. The underfloor heating in the kitchen and bathroom was a nice surprise. The host themselves provided clear instructions on how to use the facilities and this made things so much easier. Only a couple of days into our stay we had already decided we’d be coming back.
