Great communication from sally. House was beautiful, spotlessly clean and smelt like spa. It was a real home from home and we had beautiful weather so enjoyed the summer shed. Beds very comfortable Loved the added touch of snacks, milk and shampoos and showers gels , Sally has thought of everything. Great location to visit York Only error is listing says 2 bathrooms but is one bathroom and 1 WC but this didn’t effect our stay. Thank you Sally

We absolutely loved Mandy’s place in Great Ayton. Perfect for kids and she did it right up for Christmas! We felt right at home being away from home for the holidays. We had plenty of space for our family of 4 (could definitely fit more!) and the outside space was perfect. Walking distance to shops and food, and amazing location for outdoor walks in the woods and to see sheep. ☺️ Mandy was also so welcoming and heartwarming and lovely to communicate with and had essentials ready for us at arrival. So grateful!

We had a wonderful stay! The accommodation was great and exactly what we needed, our host was incredibly helpful and responsive to any questions we had.

We really enjoyed our stay. We were bowled over how beautiful and roomy the house is. Instructions and directions were excellent. The whole house is lovely and the bathroom is great, with a large bath which is fab as we only have a shower at home. The croissants were a really nice little extra, great for breakfast. The location is good too, easy walking distance to the shops and restaurants. We liked being able to put the car in a garage. Overall a really pleasant, comfortable stay.

Perfect stay, very warm and comfortable. Nicola had thought of everything and we couldn't have asked for anything more. All the information was spot on with great recommendations. Communication was excellent and the little treats were an added bonus. Nicola was a great host and we would unreservedly recommend.

Always nice to stay here. With family in the area, an ideal quiet place. Not far from the town and beach - all walkable.

Julie is a friendly host. Extremely helpful. Lovely cozy annexe with everything supplied. Tea, coffee and eggs . Bread and milk too . Excellent cake too. Right on Pennine Way. Can’t wait to come back.

If you are looking for a good standard of comfortable and cosy no frills accommodation in a location with plenty of cafés and restaurants and good transport to and from the city, I would definitely recommend Christopher’s place.

Perfect place to stay for Kyren. Easy walk to the site and even easier to get the market place shuttle. A little noisy in the evening but given that it's right in the centre not bad. Easy check in and good instruction on how to find the place.

Clean and tidy, peaceful and quiet despite proximity to train station which is a bonus if using the train to commute.

I had the most wonderful experience staying here. Rosie was very welcoming and made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The cottage is beautiful and really cozy. The upstairs was spacious and the bed was perfect for a good night's sleep. Rosie was kind enough to take the time to walk with me to the River Derwent. It was such a beautiful stroll and a lovely way to see the area through a local’s eyes. She also gave great tips on nearby places to explore and walk around. In the evening, they even offered me pizza and chips, which was so thoughtful and kind. Breakfast the next morning was delicious. I had a fresh fruit salad followed by a lovely hot breakfast. Rosie also shared a homemade jam, which made it feel all the more special. I couldn't recommend Rosie's place enough. Thank you, Rosie and Paul, for the warm hospitality!

Gary was very welcoming. First impressions were great. Got the balance right between being responsive and leaving guests in peace too. Look forward to staying again.

Perfect location and accommodation for us on our Pennine Way walk. Train to Settle was really useful to get supplies for the rest of our walk.

Beautiful, spacious room with a luxurious feel. Views from the windows are absolutely spectacular. Our toddler adored the common room with the toys too, what a bonus! We 100% recommend and will definitely be back! Sian is a warm and lovely host, thank you so much for everything!

Phillipa welcomed us warmly into her home. Our bedroom was clean and comfortable with cosy dressing gowns for us to use. Breakfast was yoghurt with delicious stewed rhubarb and granola, and toast. Our bikes were stored securely in her garage.

Thank you, Moira for your attentiveness and supplying us with a little breakfast, it was very kind. It was lovely meeting you. We had a nice one night stay with our two young children.

The room and bathroom were really clean and comfortable. The bedroom itself is small, but very well set up to be as convenient as possible (extensions leads to be able to charge phones by the bed, plenty of hooks on the wall) and we were offered the choice to leave luggage in another room if needed (we didn’t have much so didn’t need to). Christine and David were very welcoming and helpful, they welcomed us into their home and offered advice for somewhere to eat but we didn’t feel that they “smothered” us too much. Nice continental breakfast in the morning.
