Overall, I recommend highly.

We enjoyed our 12 day stay at Linda's. We were well prepared in advance, and everything involved in getting checked in went very smoothly. We were very comfortable and slept well. Linda and her husband were friendly and helped us get oriented locally. The kitchen worked out extremely well for us to prepare most of our meals, and that helped us with some dietary issues. We would highly recommend Linda's place. It is a great balance between a quiet country place, yet close to shopping and restaurants in Cobham and Esher. We hope to be back again!

5 stars all round. Highly recommended. This was a great place to stay. An easy walk from the train station (<10 min). In the centre of Charlbury, only minutes from nice pubs, restaurants and the local co-op, but still very peaceful and quiet. In a lovely garden with own outside deck and table. Bright and airy. Spacious enough for two. Good shower. Comfortable king bed with crisp linen. Cozy and comfortable sitting room. Charlbury is a beautiful town with easy train and bus links to London, Oxford, Woodstock (Blenheim), etc. And gorgeous surrounding countryside with great walks. Martin and Helena were generous friendly hosts. We really appreciated a late check out so that we could enjoy a leisurely countryside walk on our last morning. Many thanks!

Perfect for a short break with my mum....we both loved the place and the fact that it was so well situated with loads to do within a short drive. Claire was friendly and always very responsive to any questions. All on a level, which was great for my mum. Lovely decor....we liked the art, especially the album covers on the wall. Beautiful to have the sun flooding the whole place when we returned late afternoon...a bit chilly still in the April eve to fully appreciate the beautiful terrace outside, but we did sit out a little and enjoy the garden. Thoughtful touches such as milk and lovely bathroom/shower products. We have already recommended to someone else and may well be back!

We had the most beautiful weekend here, the cottage annex was so cosy and Sally had thought of absolutely everything in terms of amenities. We really didn’t have to worry about a thing! Sally provided lots of recommendations with maps, leaflets and even takeaway menu’s! We enjoyed following the public footpath’s, trialling local pubs and visiting Shaw’s corner. The hot tub was a lovely addition and super easy to use and spotlessly clean, Sally took us through everything. We will be recommending this place to everybody, thanks for a ‘killer’ weekend Sally ;)

Beautiful accommodation with everything you need, including a luxurious walk in shower. The hosts could not be nicer and even gave us a lift to the wedding reception we were attending. A very pleasant short stay. Highly recommended! The Palmer family - Oxford

Amy’s place is beautiful and comfortable. We came down with our dog and our one year old and the house had absolutely everything we needed, Cot, high chair, dog bowls etc. it really made our weekend away very easy and relaxing. Would definitely recommend staying here.

We had a lovely stay, the little house was clean, cosy and warm, everything you need, we explored the area for walks. We walked to the local pub , The Fox Inn they where very friendly the food was nice. We went to the Parrot at Forest Green for a Sunday Roast which was great. Horsham is near if you fancy a potter around the shops and pick up some bits. Guildford was 30 minutes away also another lovely day there too. Thank you we enjoyed our visit.

This is my second visit. Jo is so lovely. I went with two children under 4 and felt so safe and looked after. Took away any anxiety or pressure. Beautiful place, attention to detail, so so clean; just perfect. A great base for so many fantastic attractions.

We had the most wonderful weekend at Carolyn's. Expect spectacular views and greenery and a very cute dog. The perfect escape from the city.

What a view! Amazing views across the countryside behind the property. Very welcoming hosts who greeted me on arrival and made sure I had what I needed. Cottage was cosy with everything I needed. Bed linen was lovely. Wi-Fi provided good internet access. Kitchen was well equipped for a small cottage and I was able to cook what I wanted for evening meals. Would definitely recommend and return again myself

Stayed at the Potting Shed for three nights and cannot rate this highly enough. A lovely small shed with all the amenities one needs for a short stay. Fully furnished kitchen, a nice sofa to enjoy the views of the estate and the South Downs, and - above all - a super-comfy bed. Communication with the host was superb and we would definitely go again. Highly recommended!

Perfect for our needs. We only needed a 1 night stay close to Gusbourne vineyard for lunch there, this was perfect. Jo was very kind and helpful and made sure we got to the vineyard, we walked back to Appledore in beautiful sunshine. It's also worth mentioning the Black Lion pub, went there in the evening and had a great and reasonably priced meal.

We had the most wonderful stay at this holiday house. Tucked away in the heart of the countryside, it offers breathtaking views and a truly peaceful atmosphere. Waking up to the sound of birdsong and enjoying the stunning scenery was an absolute delight. The house itself is beautifully equipped with everything you could possibly need. The hot tub was a real highlight—perfect for unwinding while soaking in the tranquil surroundings. The log fire made the evenings feel especially cosy, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. The hosts were absolutely lovely—welcoming, friendly, and attentive, making us feel right at home. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, making it a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. We will most certainly be back and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a relaxing countryside retreat.

We had a lovely two night stay at the lodge! The scenery and views were so peaceful and calming. Julia gave us lots of recommendations which we tried to cram into our duration! Perfectly located for lovely walks, and very short distances to nearby hotspots and villages. The hot tub was clean and hot on arrival and was a godsend after a day of hiking! Can’t recommend enough for a quick stay away in the Cotswolds! Can’t wait to return. Thanks Julia!

Colin and Linda were absolutely wonderful hosts! We stayed for an extended period while awaiting the completion of our house, and they made us feel incredibly welcome and comfortable. Their communication was always prompt and helpful, making our long stay much smoother. What truly stood out was their kindness and willingness to go the extra mile. When we found ourselves needing daycare for our dog, they stepped in to help us out, which was a huge relief! Their generosity and understanding were truly appreciated. We couldn't have asked for better hosts. We highly recommend Colin and Linda to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming Airbnb experience. They made our transitional period so much easier. Lovely little barn, with beautiful views. Vivienne let us book very last minute and yet she still bought all lovely goodies for breakfast. Vivienne is one of the nicest hosts we have met. Our Labrador loved it. There’s a lovely walk to the local pub. Only 20 mins drive from Rye. Will definitely return.

We love The Pavilion! Second time here , this one for an airport overnight. It’s perfect. Super close to Horley station for fast train ride into Gatwick. Comfortable, clean, private and homely 🥰
