River Wye : locations de vacances avec sauna

This was our first visit to Cardiff in many years and the apartment was lovely and spacious. The location was walkable to the city center and Cardiff Bay. Amanda was a great host and very welcoming and responsive. We will definitely come back!

Cannot imagine a more beautiful and peaceful setting for this magnificent house and extensive grounds. Everything was perfect, the hosts charming, friendly, approachable, helpful. The apartment spacious, extremely well equipped and comfortable. The views of the coast and Exmoor are stunning, no photo can reproduce them faithfully, and you are 100 metres away from an array of paths. Thanks for the privilege of staying at your place.

Number 12, good to see new sofa and cooker, fridge. freezer would be handy. No plug in sink so difficult to wash up! Bathroom needs repairs, tiles off, leak stain on ceiling, shower screen leaked. Which means water on floor. Please paint stairwell it’s scruffy as you enter, it lets it down. You need to install WiFi please.

what a lovely place to stay. safe, secure, spacious and lovely hosts. they are so friendly and could not go further to be of help with anything. Warminster shops are 8min drive away. Longleat safari is 10mins away and the pub at the top of the road, is very friendly. ring before to check how busy they are as we couldn't get food. thank you so much Nick, Liz and Charles

Mark en Lavinia waren vriendelijke hosts en stonden altijd klaar als we met vragen kwamen. Bij aankomst werden we gastvrij verwelkomd en kregen een uitgebreide rondleiding in het appartement. We vonden het leuk om tussen de vogels te wonen. Pauw Percy was zeer aanwezig maar vonden wij wel prima. Het was voor ons een goede uitvalsbasis van waaruit we tripjes hebben gemaakt in de omgeving.

Aaron had made sure we had everything we needed including phone chargers which came in handy. The flat was very spacious, homely and well located. As a host Aaron was quick to respond to any questions we had. Overall a great stay.

The retreat is in a beautiful location , surrounded by hills, countryside and lovely walks. The property was beautifully clean and welcoming and the swimming pool is an amazing facility. Everything was perfect , and we will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful 2-night stay at this beautiful penthouse near the Cotswolds with our family of four. The apartment was spotless, thoughtfully designed, and maintained to a true 5-star international standard. Our host, Jane, was warm, incredibly responsive, extremely flexible & even sent over her husband to help set up the TV so our son could watch the Premier League — such a kind gesture! The apartment was peaceful, private, and perfect for a family escape from city. With a fully equipped kitchen with unlimited cooking pots, cutlery and appliances more than you need, made cooking together a fun family activity. The attention to detail was impressive and her clear instructions when required made it a smooth sailing for us. The location was also great — quiet yet convenient for day trips to Bath and South Wales, which we explored during our stay. We left relaxed, recharged and happy. Highly recommended for both the property and Jane's impeccable hospitality.

A fantastic place to stay with a private parking space which is a bonus! A central location to walk to Cardiff Bay and into the City Centre. The accommodation itself was absolutely spotless, had lovely added extras and was extremely quiet. Tony was a fab host with excellent communication throughout the stay. I would definitely recommend! Wonderful pool jacuzzi and sauna downstairs and we were lucky enough to have 4 days of sun in April. (Sunbathing in the jacuzzi was amazing!) The master bed is huge and very comfortable and everything was perfect for my wife and me to have a few days of luxury and fun. I would happily recommend and book again.

A beautiful two floor apartment with stunning sea views from both the balcony and the master bedroom– making for some spectacular photographs particularly at sunset and sunrise. Beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. The bedding and pillows made for exceptionally sound sleeping, and the blackout blinds in the master bedroom were faultless in their endeavours. All three bathrooms with Stocks with quality amenities as was the kitchen and games cupboard. Brilliant Sonos sound system and wood burning stove made staying in for a movie night the perfect way to end our trip. We wish we never had to leave. This is a truly amazing place, and we are very grateful to Sam et al for hosting us. The allocated parking close to the apartment was ideal and the little green trolleys that one can borrow to transport one’s luggage (and partner) made for a refreshing lack of repeat journeys from one’s car to the front door.

A lovely place to stay, loads of room. Great view of the river. Helen gave great clear instructions. A lovely quiet complex within easy walk to the bay. If we head to the bay again we would 100% stay again. Thank you Helen xx

We had a wonderful stay in Woolacombe at Kathryn's apartment. The apartment was beautifully furnished, very comfy and had everything we needed. We also enjoyed using the pool and sauna. The location was perfect, very close to Woolacombe beach for dog walks and lots of cafes and restaurants. There are also lots of other lovely places to visit within a short drive away. Kathryn was very responsive and helpful and we appreciated all the local tips. Thank you, and we hope to return again!

Stunning property. Stayed as a family aging from two to eighty three and Sunset lodge had everything you could need for a comfortable stay away. Kitchen has everything needed and more to dine in. Modern, comfortable furnishings in spacious rooms all with lovely views of the water. Safe for children and easy to move around with a partially sighted guest with limited mobility. Michelle was a fantastic host, always responsive and provided lots of information regarding the property and site. Lovely indoor and outdoor swimming pool on site in the spa with booked slots so didn’t get too busy. Site was beautiful, quiet and calm for a relaxing short break with family.

I very much enjoyed my stay. The property is in an idyllic location. The peaceful atmosphere made for a very relaxing few days. Agnes always responded to any requests and I would love to return sometime in the future.

We had a lovely time staying at Oak Lodge. The property is great and we really enjoyed the facilities at Lower Mill Estate. We had a few problems navigating the estate due to poor signage which was exacerbated at night when there is limited light. Instructions could have been slightly clearer as we found putting the property name into the satnav more useful than just the postcode as was suggested on the welcome pack. Nonetheless, communication from the hosts was excellent and we had a great holiday here.

We had a fantastic stay at Nicola’s house, which was perfect for three families coming together. The on-site pool was a great addition, and the Ballihoo restaurant was both welcoming and convenient ideal for everything from a morning coffee to an evening meal. The house was spotlessly clean, with three excellent bathrooms plus a downstairs toilet, making it ideal for a group stay. We would love to return in the summer to fully enjoy the surroundings, but even in the colder months, the cosy wood fire made it a wonderful retreat.

Warm, comfy and clean. Ideal location near the restaurant and spa. Great location and facilities for a gathering with my friends. Communication with host was excellent and always helpful. Would definitely return.

This has to be the most eclectic house we have stayed in as a family, but it provided constant entertainment and sparked imaginations. There is lots of room inside for 9 people a dog and a baby. The separate dining area and sittings rooms allowed people to be together and have private time. The garden area available was small for a large gathering but Barry was willing to open up further garden to us on asking. The sauna was a nice touch. There were enough bathrooms and the kitchen was equipped and functional The house is old as it says in the descriptions so if you have difficulty climbing stairs it would not be for you. The layout and contents of the house are not toddler friendly. There is no onsite parking, but the car park is a short distance away. The village is quaint and the coop very near by. We can recommend the tea shop, and would recommend booking early is you want to eat in the pub next door. There are lots of walks nearby and buses to other villages.

I booked this for a family NYE holiday. We were all very excited because the photos looked amazing, and we all agreed it exceeded our expectations. The house was great fun to explore, very warm and cosy. We cooked large meals every day and the kitchen had everything we needed. Very helpful having so many plates, glasses, mugs etc. The hot tub and sauna were a real highlight, and it was great being able to access them without going outside, whilst being able to have the windows open and enjoy the spectacular views. Debbie and Jenny were incredibly kind and welcoming. Can't fault our stay, it was perfect.

The house was absolutely perfect for a quiet weekend away with family, with so much just a short drive away. It had everything we needed and was just a beautiful place to stay. Cathy was an amazing host. Would 100% recommend and would stay again
