We spent 3 nights at Moontide which was beautiful. The cottage was bigger than we anticipated from the photos and is beautifully decorated with plenty of cushions and throws. The bed was very comfortable and peaceful. We particularly chose Jo’s place because of the outdoor hot tub and outdoor fire pit which didn’t disappoint. The deck is very well done and we had breakfast outside every day and a platter one evening by the fire as well as cooking in the kitchen. Lots of extras in the home which is a lovely added touch and bonus making you feel right at home. Lovely views and extremely peaceful for a romantic break - we highly recommend.

Terrific little cottage set back from the water. private and cosy. The hot tub was a clear winner. kitchen had all the amenities needed for a short stay. lovely rain head shower. the location is a little secluded and made for driving 15 minutes to anywhere for food supplies and such. if you're looking to switch off, relax and star gaze by the fire then this is the place for you.

Melinda's farm cottage exceeded all our expectations. It was cozy, peaceful, and surrounded by stunning scenery. We were greeted each morning by the chickens at the front door and often saw cows roaming the fields. The mountain views were breathtaking! The kitchen had everything we needed, including condiments, cookware, and utensils, making it easy to prepare a home-cooked meal. The fireplace was a wonderful touch, especially on the colder nights. The photos don’t do the cottage justice, it was the perfect place to relax, unplug, and recharge. It was also the special spot where my partner proposed, making our stay even more memorable. We would highly recommend Melinda’s cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful and unforgettable getaway 🙂!!

Such a wonderful peaceful stay in Linda's lovely homely cottage. Styled beautifully, comfortable luxury bedding, and all the kitchen amenities one needs including good coffee. Looking out at the pond from the lounge and bedrooms and outdoor bath was so picturesque watching the local wildlife and feeding the chickens daily was such a delight, especially for my grandson. Just wanted to stay and soak in all the beauty that was surrounding.

Sweetcorn cottage was perfect for us. Beautifully done in rustic, raw timber. Four adults and two children, 3yo and 5 yo, who loved the cottage. Cute and close to Longford. Would be lovely to stay for two nights to relish the property properly. Everything was as said. A priority for us was to be able to take our dog. She is fine on lead which is an essential requirement. She and the grandchildren had never seen sheep, cows (well, a big black gentle bull) or horses and were scared of the delightful pig. The children were able to feed and pat the animals so it was a lovely bonus as we were visiting family in Longford.

Delightful little cottage right on the edge of the river. It was private, comfortable and relaxing. It had every amenity and utensil we needed. Lots of natural light, and the water lapping on the shoreline was very soothing. fantastic outlook and views

The cottage is so cozy, lovely, and comfortable like home. It satisfied both adults and kids including a fresh breakfast and the beautiful furnitures. It's very meaningful to stay a night in this historical house. My kids loved the feeding session in the morning and Louise made it a great experience for them in detail. Although if there is one thing, the wood stove was under construction even though we didn't expect it to be and was excited to use it. We will never forget the day here!

Beautiful house in a great location directly opposite City Park. Easy walk into the City for shopping and restaurants and only minutes from the river and short drive to Cataract Gorge. The house was clean and tidy with comfy beds and couches to relax. Loved our stay!

The Pier was an absolutely magic location on the waterfront and had an incredible setup to support making the most of a couple of days away. Easy access to Launceston, beauty point and surrounds. Great walking track along the water for kids on scooters and a local pump track. The hotel puts on a great feed but a night of cooking in was our fave because of the great setup. One of the best bakers in town at The Oven Bakery for a tasty pie and fresh hot bread!

The cottage was very clean and comfortable with a great outlook. Quiet location but only a few minutes to Launceston. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

Lovely place and great value.

We had an absolutely wonderful honeymoon ♥️ the church is so unbelievably peaceful and calm, we really got to switch off properly and feel how exhausted we were after all the rushing around pre and post wedding! river swims, pots of tea, reading by the fire, lots of napping, Evandale market, a scramble on the rocks of Ben Lomand - it was a delightful trip. We had everything we needed in the church and more, we’ll definitely be returning in future as long as stays are possible! You have created a calm haven in such a beautiful place, thank you! ✨

What a great home away from home, we could not fault this place. We were met at the property by Maria and Brent, they were very friendly as they showed us through the home and gave instructions on how everything worked, they supplied a beautiful food hamper plus the pantry had some everyday items. Our 3 days there were very relaxed and they local shops and places of interest were not far away. The kitchen is very modern with quality Smeg appliances and all the gadgets and utensils you need, we also made great use of the BBQ. Nights were cosy with the wood fireplace and beds were very comfortable. We highly recommend Mountain Blue

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Debbie’s cottage. Great communication. The cottage itself was beautiful. Very cosy and exactly what we needed. Will definitely stay again when in town.

Janmaree got a really lovely boathouse which is situated just next to the pier! The view is amazing and when it comes to the sunset time it becomes absolutely stunning! The location itself is very good for us as we were looking for a place close enough to the Lowhead so that we can get back easily after the penguin tour, and also not too far from the Launceston Airport for our flight in the afternoon the next day. And the gin distillery just opposite to the house is also a gem!

Highly recommended - you won't be disappointed. Graham and Amanda are just wonderful hosts. The cottage is a purpose built, stand alone cottage and ticks all the boxes. A separate bedroom, cosy sitting room, and a kitchenette with everything you need. The combined bathroom and laundry was huge and well appointed. Everything was super clean and very well maintained. Beautiful gardens surround the cottage and cute little verandah - a great spot to sit in the sun and enjoy a cuppa.
