Was in town for work and this was the perfect spot To come back to and relax by the lake. Sit on the deck if im ever in the area ill definitely stay again

My 2 day stay at Marnie and Brian’s tiny house far surpassed my expectations. It was absolutely perfect. I loved reading on the deck, the record player was also a wonderful touch. Marnie and Brian are such thoughtful hosts, they really went above and beyond with the amenities in such a small space. The hiking trails on their property are so well-maintained, and I was able to enjoy the nature in solitude. I’m already planning for a trip back. Thank you for being my new escape!

This tiny cabin was nearly perfect and easily the best Airbnb I’ve stayed in. Steve was prepared for everything—from forgotten toiletries and snacks to labeling important fixtures. When we arrived, the cabin smelled freshly cleaned, soft music played, and the lighting was warm and inviting. He even hung a birthday banner after we mentioned our reason for visiting. Steve provided a witty welcome booklet, plus a visitor’s guide and city map that were extremely helpful since we had no plans. This impromptu trip turned out better than we imagined thanks to those guides. There were plenty of eateries within 5–10 minutes and lots of attractions nearby. My only minor critiques: the wildlife scene in the loft opposite the sleeping loft was a bit creepy, and an air fryer would have been more convenient for leftovers. Overall, a fantastic place to stay!

We enjoyed our stay here. The house looked just like it was described in the listing. Everything was clean. The one level house was nice for my baby, who is crawling. The neighborhood is quiet, which was convenient for putting my 2 kids to bed at night. Amy was responsive to the questions I had and provided detailed instructions for check in and check out. It was a short drive to downtown Lincoln from the house.

This was our second time staying at this beautiful house and they beyond met our expectations once again with great flexibility and beautiful communication throughout! We hope to come back again next year!

Wonderful place to stay for families or large groups. Lots of activities, extremely spacious & well thought out. Very clean. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if in the area.

This was a neat and place. It is different from so many other places. It was fun to play all the games that were available on site. It would be really fun in the summer when you could enjoy the outside amenities. It is close to downtown and all the things to do in Springfield. We would definitely go back.

The home was beautiful and very welcoming! The hosts thought of every detail to ensure that our stay was comfortable for our family. It was accessible to nearby tourists sites and a short drive to the Capitol. We had a great stay and would highly recommend this property and likely any home that they host on Airbnb! Thank you!!

I loved my stay. the place was clean and peaceful. close to restaurants and things to do. Will definitely want to come back in the future
