I'd give more than 5* if AirBnb would let me. Everything was spotless. The 'little extras' (ie honesty bar, pre-heating the hot tub, the top quality bikes provided) were the icing on the cake. I cannot see a way Amy could have done anything better, or have been more responsive. You can tell she really cares about providing top notch service. Lots to do in the area, all within easy walking distance. We will definitely be back!!!!

A lovely cosy cottage, nicely furnished with very comfortable beds and a great sized kitchen. Beautifully decorated for Christmas.

We’ve stayed in many rental properties in the U.K., Europe and USA and this is one of the best. Felt instantly at home. Beautifully decorated and fantastically well equipped we didn’t want for anything. Great for a short break but we could have happily stayed for weeks. Sally and Nick were so helpful and reassuring. We spent half our time planning a return visit this year and next! Well done

We just needed somewhere to stay and chill for a few days away from the day to day rat race and this place certainly lived upto it's description. The place is beautiful and spotless with everything you need including a perfect host, thanks Kathryn,hope to see you again soon.

LIz made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Location was lovely with the river Goyt just at the end of the garden area. Lovely local walks. Perfect place for a nice relaxing time. Brilliant views and very private and hidden so you can have a great time in peace. Nicola couldn’t have been more accommodating and respectful towards all of us. Everything was exactly how described and we couldn’t thank Nicola enough for her help and attitude to making us feel at home. We would definitely recommend to anyone who was thinking about it

We had a great stay. The house was immaculately clean and had great amenities. Pete and Sue gave clear instructions and were proactive and friendly with their instructions. It was a great location - once we parked up for the weekend we did not need our car again until we left with the train station not far away and beautiful walks on the doorstep. We would not hesitate to recommend a stay here and would gladly stay again ourselves.

Fantastic stay in this beautiful cottage for our Wedding Anniversary, clean, cosy, peaceful and extremely relaxing.

This was our 2nd visit here and probably won't be our last. Small clean and tidy and just what we need for a central stopping point to meet family and friends.

beautiful peaceful secluded cottage. home from home with everything you need. great views and open space for a stroll by the stream. The dogs enjoyed the walks and the toddler seeing all the animals nearby. A lovely fire and dvd in the evening. All perfect

Lovely cosy cottage in a beautiful peaceful location. It had everything we needed for our mini break. Max was very quick to respond to any queries we had .We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the cottage.. dog friendly too and lots of great walks in the area to explore .

Absolutely stunning place - we had a fabulous weekend here. So peaceful and conveniently located for everything you need. The cottage is finished to a high standard and the photos don’t do it justice. So well equipped, excellent guest book and gorgeous views out of every window. We would definitely return.

Ahh what a gorgeous bolthole to relax, focus, or use as a base for the great outdoors! We came up North to visit family and I ended up travelling ahead of my husband and little ones so that I could focus on a university assignment. I was therefore able to experience Robin Cottage as both a quiet refuge and as a spacious, family-friendly, home-from-home. Jennifer and Caesar went above and beyond, responding quickly to messages and requests. I ended up staying an extra night and needed to check out later which Jennifer was able to accommodate, which enabled me to finish off my work. There are some beautiful walks in the area which provided a welcome respite from being stuck in front of a screen! We have stayed in lots of holiday cottages but this might just be the best one. It has everything you could possibly need! And it is the first time I have been a little sad to get back to my own (very comfy) bed. The beds there were another level. We would love to return for a longer stay.

Lovely place to relax for the few days between Christmas and NY. Spent the days walking with the dogs and then back for the hot tub! Really quiet area with not much around but that was exactly what we wanted. Thank you

Great way to spend our NYE, the cottage was so peaceful and private. Great space for the dogs to run in the garden, weather weren't on our side but the house was fully equipped and had games too so that it didn't matter! Would definitely recommend and will definitely be looking to book again!

Really well appointed cosy cottage in a spectacular location. Perfect for a short getaway. Loved the CD collection and the ‘novelty’ of listening to a whole album! Fantastic walks all around, and hidden gem villages like Heptonstall close by. Great base for visiting Calderdale and Brontë country. Thanks for a lovely stay!

What a beautiful cottage! It retains all the charm of its long history, while offering up-to-the-minute amenities. The kitchen and bathrooms are modern and pristine, with fresh white linens, and everything you need and more to begin your stay. Behind the house is a private garden and terrace, overlooking miles of fields and trees. We found peace and tranquillity here.

This is a beautiful, peaceful place. Derek and Kath made me feel so welcome and cared for. The dogs and I had a wonderful time. The cottage is spacious and beautifully furnished. We enjoyed exploring the little river on the property. There are some sheep, as this is a farming community - seeing the spring lambs was lovely this week. The walks 5-10 minutes drive away were absolutely amazing. Try walking Nicky Nook, which is incredible.
