Helen Margaret had a lovely home. It was very spacious and well furnished. Kitchen had all the appliances and tools needed to have some home cooked meals. We enjoyed coming home each evening to just relax after a day of adventure. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

We really enjoyed our stay at Mike’s place. The living space and bedrooms were a good size and very comfortable. It was a great base from which we could explore Nelson. Mike was very responsive when we reached out, too.

We really enjoyed the stay at Elaine’s house. We were a family of 4 with an infant and a toddler. The house is nicer and even better than presented on the images. Located on a ridge with a nice view and quiet surroundings. Perfect for small kids with baby chairs, cot and some toys, boks and baby equipment. The house itself is stylish furnitures in a retro style and has a moth of interesting art on the walls. Recommend a taxi or a car to get down and back from the city center

Birdsong was perfect for our biking needs for the week. Great parking, every utensil or pan you may ever need in the kitchen, and loads of different places to sit and relax. Very sunny. Oh and the beds were very comfortable too. Thanks Ina!

We loved our stay at Costa Ruby, perfect for unwinding after walking the Abel Tasman with our kids. Beautiful spot on the water, the house is quirky and cosy and has everything you’d need. The spa is bliss and kayaks were a hit. Sue was a great host and communicated with us really well. Ruby Bay is a lovely place close to Māpua where there is a lovely little village and easily drivable to lots of interesting places. Loved it, thanks so much

We will definitely be back. We loved staying at Jill's place. Clean, tidy, pictures match reality and has everything you need. We stayed for three nights with 4 adults a three year old and a baby. The two master bedrooms and two bathrooms mean there is space for all. The sleep out is a nice added bonus. The outside areas (there are three to choose from!) encourage outside dining and socialising. Multiple places for wine and cheese in the afternoons. We also loved that there is plenty of comfortable seating in the lounge and the kitchen was fully functional and user friendly. The BBQ worked well and the swing ball outside was much loved by our three year old. Within walking distance you can reach the water front, tennis courts, local bars and the camp ground that has a new playground. Jill is a super responsive proactive host. We are already looking forward to visiting again.

Valerie and Ewan were very friendly and a highlight was their spectacular garden. We were very lucky to be able to help ourselves to the abundant veggie patch. Lots of yummy treats left for us on arrival. Good small supermarket, a couple of pubs and the amazing bakery. We had a very peaceful Xmas/New Year here.

Beautiful period cottage in central Nelson. A fabulous place to stay - quiet but near restaurants and town centre. We loved our stay at Jason’s place. Highly recommended

We found the Clifftop Retreat cabin suited our needs perfectly and Bob provided an excellent level of communication, service and local tips. He also ensured the pantry and wines were stocked with high quality local products. The accomodation was very good with comfortable bed, terrific functional kitchen and amazing clifftop views of the surrounding bay and local area. The location was perfect for our walking trips up into the Abel Tasman National Park and also fantastic local restaurants and wineries. Bob also organised a pick up from the airport for us as we arrived late at night. Overall a fantastic stay and would certainly recommend Clifftop Retreats very highly.

Great place to stay. We were a group of 9 and we all had plenty of space. The location is a short walk to a Four Square and the Māpua wharf where there are plenty of eateries to choose from and lovely artisan and gift stores. Jane was a great host who communicated well and provided local recommendations. Would happily stay here again.

It felt like home very quickly. Comfy beds. Beautiful period rural house in a large garden with mature trees. Easy to find a quiet spot under a tree to read a book. Plenty of parking. A good kitchen and laundry. Fresh plums and heaps more in a welcome hamper. The cats were adorable. They called by for some food and a pat a few times a day and then disappeared into the garden. Too many pluses to mention (and we stay in a lot of airbnbs). Negatives which are hardly worth mentioning would be road noise - not too bad and you don't notice it after day 1 - and the kitchen knives were not terribly sharp.

Wir hatten auf unserer Reise durch ganz Neuseeland einige Unterkünfte - die von Tim und Michelle gehört zu den allerbesten. Die Unterkunft ist Tip Top in Ordnung, man hat alles was man braucht (und noch viel mehr): von der Küchenausstattung, den Spielen, den outdoorrmöglichkeiten (freie Fahrräder und Kajaks) sowie der persönlichen Beratung zu möglichen Aktivitäten in der Gegend. We loved staying in Anne’s cottage. Family of 5, didn’t feel crowded.

The Bach is in an amazing setting. The view over Golden Bay and of the Milky Way at night, the access to the beach and garden, and proximity to Wharikki Beach, can’t be beat. Location is private and cottage is comfy. Try Courtyard Cafe noodle bowl in Takata and time your visit to Wharikki Beach around low tide to see seal pups. Host was responsive and helpful. That said, be aware internet is often slow and/or spotty so bring a book! Also recommend the Farewell Spit tour! Perfect place for a relaxing getaway. And the beach at low tide has amazing tidal pools and the most beautiful rocks ever!

Our stay at Diane’s place was fantastic. The home is beautiful, very cute and had everything we needed. Diane is super responsive, helpful and friendly. Couldn’t recommend more.

Pictures can't convey the beauty of this place. The road to the top is part of the experience, and just as amazing. The owners are extremely nice and even provided locally sourced breakfast and other goodies. the house was superbly clean and there are 360 views from literally everywhere in the house. We had a hard time leaving!
