Jessica's communication was awesome and she is a fantastic host overall. The apartment is very nice and the location is also great as longa s you don't mind walking-- about a 10 minute walk to the beach and a 5 minute walk to the Duck boardwalk. Lots of shops right nearby within a 5 minute walk too. The only caveat I'd say for the unit is it's not ideal for traveling with a toddler (which is no fault of the host nor really a negative in and of itself-- not every unit needs to be). The windows of the 2nd bedroom are south facing and we had a hard time getting it dark enough for nap time even with our own blackout curtains, and there are about 20 steps to walk up to the 2nd floor unit. The open floor plan is great, but also makes it a little hard to toddler proof. Again, not a negative, but just something to be aware for families traveling with young kids.

My family and I greatly enjoyed our stay in the Outer Banks! Jenny and Ania’s listing in Outer Banks is an affordable way to stay by the beach during peak season near Duck. There is a fantastic restaurant with scenic views across the street, and cute shops, delis, ice cream, a boardwalk and the famous Duck Donuts 1/2 a mile to a mile from the place! The rental was spacious and the perfect landing spot between trips to the nearby beach and other trips around the area. There are a lot of great amenities for an active family too - tennis, pickle ball, basketball, and two pool options. There is a brand new indoor facility with the pool, hot tub and small fitness center too! A special treat - there are deer wandering the grounds as you first come in! Jenny and Ania were very responsive and checked in to ensure things went smoothly for us. Definitely Recommend!!

This is a fantastic unit for a couple (or best friends!) retreat. The location is perfect - directly across the street from beach entrance, walking distance to great coffee shops, local ice cream, surf shops, brewery, food, convenience stores, and more! I liked the house was at the end of a cul-de-sac so no traffic on the street. The host is very friendly and responsive with great directions. Check in/out was hassle free. I will definitely be coming back for a long weekend getaway!

Amy made sure to communicate regularly from the moment I booked. She made all instructions very clear and when I reached out with any questions she was quick to respond.

Bradley was very responsive and extremely helpful. The place matched the description perfectly and it was a great relaxing space for a quiet weekend.

We loved staying at Nadia’s property! The space was exactly as advertised and felt super welcoming. We were a very short walk from the beach, close to local restaurants, and loved being able to bring our pup along for the trip. The unit is on the smaller side, but had all the amenities and space that we needed. Also, Nadia did an impeccable job at maximizing the space with available storage and the furniture arrangement. We will definitely keep this spot on our radar for future beach trips!

This stay was pretty rushed and unexpected for us but Mark made this experience very easy for us. Always responsive and friendly. The home was clean and the lady upstairs made us feel very welcomed. This is a great space right on the island close to everything you’ll need.

We had a great stay at Tara’s place! It was clean, comfortable, and just what we needed. The location was great too. Close to lots of restaurants and most attractions were close by or a good half way point. Beach was at walking distance down the street a little bit. Tara was great communicating as well! We’d stay here again!

Sam and Katy were wonderful hosts leaving nothing to be desired. Our stay was very comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and the surroundings serene and beautiful. We rode our bikes around and saw a bit of wildlife. The pool was a dream, and so were the accommodations. We made use of the outdoor shower more than once! The large deck outside our door, furnished with cushiony furniture, overlooks the pool and the lovely backyard--a perfect spot for morning coffee. The king size bed and linens made for a very comfy night's sleep, and the full bathroom was equipped with plush bath towels. There were even pool towels, beach towels, chairs, umbrella and more for our use. There was wine in the wine fridge, coffee & Keurig, snacks and a sweet kitchenette for our use. This place is beautifully decorated, tastefully furnished, and amply appointed. We were a short drive from the beaches, fine dining and so many other attractions--the location is ideal. I highly recommend a stay here!

Mark’s place was the perfect location for our long weekend vacation in OBX! Our dog absolutely loved the fenced in yard, and we were in prime location for all the activities we wanted to do! Would definitely recommend Mark’s place if you’re looking for a peaceful but walkable location in Kill Devil Hills

We loved our stay with Lisa. We had very little time to spend in the unit, but the proximity to everything and the calm beautiful surrounding made our time there more restful, efficient and enjoyable. We look forward to our next visit.

We had a great stay at Yana’s place! It was everything we needed in a cozy atmosphere. It’s a great location with still plenty to do in the area even during the off season. Bed was very comfortable. We got to meet them both & they were very kind & pleasant to talk to. Definitely would stay here again if down in the area. We would not even feel the need to look elsewhere. Thank you Yana!

Our stay was nothing short of AMAZING! The place was so clean when we walked & looked exactly like all of the photos. Everything in this Airbnb is well thought out. There were so many things included such as toothpaste & toothbrushes (just in case you forgot!) The record player was also a huge plus for us as we loved relaxing & listening to the music. We also loved using the beach chairs for to the beach, which was just a short drive or walk away. Overall, we would love to stay again & couldn’t imagine spending our time anywhere else!

Wir durften eine Woche in Marks wundervollem Appartement verbringen. Die Wohnung ist in tadellosem Zustand, super sauber und hat alles was man braucht. Mark legt sehr viel Wert auf kleine Details, so dass wirklich nichts fehlt. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Porch, auf der man gemütlich sitzen kann. Das Haus befindet sich in einer sehr ruhigen und sicheren Nachbarschaft, so dass man sich gerne dort aufhält. Mark ist ein super netter, kommunikativer Superhost und hat uns viele Tips für die Umgebung gegeben. Er war jederzeit erreichbar und reagiert sehr schnell auf Anfragen. Wir hoffen bald wiederzukommen. Auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert!

The studio apartment was perfect for 2 adults and a dog. Very clean and well stocked with touches of hospitality. Loved the beach decor. Appreciated the fenced in yard as well.

Had an absolutely wonderful stay at this cozy beach unit! Hosts were very inviting and also respect our privacy. Perfect getaway spot with only a 10 min walk to the beach and central to all the attractions. It’s also nice to be in an Airbnb that actually has pots and pans, towels that aren’t hotel-white, and personal touches throughout.

We don’t have enough kind words to describe our host, Erica, or how lovely the location and listing were! We would absolutely stay here again!! From easy check in, to recommendations that didn’t disappoint at all, and the comfiest bed we’ve ever slept in during our travels, we absolutely could not have loved it more. Also, our infant son had an emergency as we were packing up to depart, and not only did Erica quickly recommend an urgent care pediatrician, but she offered us to stay longer into the day if we needed to for him. Her kindness was beyond appreciated, and we’re so grateful for her help! Definitely stay here if you can, visit the dunes, and the beach, and have an amazing trip!

Loved! This was one of the best OBX airbnbs we’ve stayed in. We travel there often. LeAnne was very accommodating to my delayed check in because of a hail storm. Good people! They have a top notch studio for a quick trip. Bed is super comfortable and loved the hot tub!! I am so glad I decided to get a place with a hot tub. I think there were people staying upstairs, because of cars but never heard them. It was quiet and the neighbor is also quiet. We will try to get this place again! Thank you!

Perfect for a couple, the hottub was perfect. We were only there at night to sleep and spent most of the day out doing things. Really small space though, but it was comfortable enough! It did what we needed!

This little home was perfect! The neighborhood was very peaceful and private. Everything was so clean and tidy! We absolutely loved the hot tub. Danielle was very helpful and responsive if we had any questions! 10/10 recommend staying here!!

Pat and Chuck were nothing but excellent! They were great with communication, responding almost immediately every single time. The welcome to their place made you feel very comfortable. Everything was so tidy and clean, hosts were so thoughtful with leaving little items in the room for guests to use. We would absolutely love to stay at their place again!

The place was beautiful and clean! It was very close to the beach, it is walkable but you will have to cross the main road. We were within 5-10 minutes of a target, a Publix, a Harris teeter, and multiple beach access points. The neighborhood is very pretty it’s peaceful and secluded. The amenities were plentiful and the bed was very comfortable. I would definitely recommend the place. In addition to the amenities with the place, there was a guidebook with activities and restaurants in the area. We went on the Wild Horse Adventure tour which is 30 minutes north. I had no expectations for the tour but it was recommended by the hosts, and my wife and I loved it. The trip gets 5 stars all-around.

Great spot in the Outerbanks, close to many restaurants (a few walkable) and a quick walk to beach access. The bed was also comfy, which I feel is hard to find in a rental!
