We enjoyed our stay at the cabin! My boys loved the loft and all of the books and games there. The record player and hot tub were amazing touches that made our vacation a little more special. The host even arranged a time for the boys to meet her goat, Ruby. My kids absolutely loved this. This was a great find.

Amazing, quiet, and peaceful little place tucked away in the mountains... just what we needed for a quick getaway! Hot tub was fantastic and was close by to several wineries, distilleries, breweries, and restaurants... might make this somewhere we go back to again! 5 stars!

We arrived a little early so we drove into Hillsville to check out one of Laura's suggested restaurants. We had drinks and tasty crab cakes at the Mason Jar. Our stay was wonderful as the cabin was cozy and had everything we needed. Laura suggested several restaurants but the kitchen had all the needed items to made it easy to cook there. The setup also made it easy to talk while cooking. She also suggested several trails that we did explore and were worth the ride. After hiking all day to come back to the hot tub was a pleasure. Having a gas fire inside kept the cabin warm and nice to read or watch TV. Star glazing around a bonfire as snow fell was lovely. We had no problem finding plenty of wood around the area. We so enjoyed watching the sun come up from our warm bed. Plenty of blankets. Birdwatching was amazing. Laura's detailed description of her cabin and area were 'spot on.' We did have a question and Laura was quick to answer. We highly recommend renting it

Cozy, clean. Perfect for a weekend getaway with access to Blacksburg and all the nature around it.

We enjoyed our cozy stay at the creekside cabin. We especially enjoyed our visits from the adaborable and sweet kitty Zoey. Having her there made us feel like we were at home. The bed was very comfortable with the fluffy pillows and soft sheets. Faith the housekeeper was very freindly and checked on us and made sure eveything was to our likeing. I would recommend this cabin to anyone who is looking to escape a busy and fast paced lifestyle. We will be back!

We really enjoyed our stay at Ridgetop cabin. It was a nice getaway, and close to hiking and fishing spots. Morissette winery was also really cool, so it was nice to be near that, as well.

We booked Kristy's cabin because it looked really nice and is next door to the Poor Mountain Nature Preserve, where we wanted to hike. The cabin is really cute, cozy, and very clean. The bed was so comfortable! We really enjoyed using the backyard firepit and solarium. Plus the views from this cabin are gorgeous. It is so quiet the only thing you hear is the wind. Only hitch for me was it was a little awkward having the upright washer/dryer in the bathroom but Kristy posted a note saying a laundry room addition is planned and coming soon. Would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone visiting the area or locals who want a relaxing getaway. We really liked staying here a lot and appreciated all the thoughtful touches including the amazing telescope to sky watch! Thank you Kristy!

This was a perfect spot for our anniversary weekend (visited from NC). Super cozy and quaint. Lewisburg is a beautiful drive for great food spots. Loved how dark the bedroom gets for an amazing night sleep in a comfy bed!

Fantastic location for a visit to Lexington - easy enough to get to town while enjoying the quiet countryside.

This is the 5th time I've stayed at this cabin, and I sincerely LOVE this place!!! My sister and I got to enjoy an inverse snow-globe experience on our stay...although I wouldn't advise anyone without really good 4WD to attempt it in the winter, it was an absolutely dream stay for my birthday!!!! Hosts were on point with everything as usual, and I can't thank them more for maintaining such a wonderful little oasis!!!

Absolutely loved our experience! Hot tub worked well, sitting out back was so serene and peaceful, saw lots of wildlife in the area. Home itself is clean and cozy, we enjoyed watching movies by the fire.

The property was tucked away in your own private area. It was peaceful and had beautiful scenery and surroundings. The walk to the lake was awesome. We played horseshoes by the fire every night. It was also a short drive to the race track for us. Would absolutely recommend and would return!

We felt at home the moment we walked in. Cliff’s River cabin is very inviting and comfy. We loved the vintage/rustic ambiance. The cabin was very clean and fully stocked. The shower pressure, WiFi and phone reception, were awesome. The heater kept us warm and cozy and there were plenty of extra blankets, if needed. The back porch with the river view was great! What a wonderful place to recharge after a day of hiking and exploring the New River Gorge National Park and Babcock/Bluestone State Parks. Thanks, Cliff!

Amazing and YES, cozy but not small country cottage! Beautiful Natural and well kept outdoors. Many sitting and dinning areas. inside provided tremendous light, many windows, Amazing space and separation of sleeping areas and very private bath. Kitchen perfectly laid out with much space for multiple cooks. Clean, private, quite and indoor bug free environment. Two perfect fire pits; one secluded for privacy and another perfect for gatherings. Perfect ambience. We felt we were home away from home. We had last minute request and Michelle was flexible, accommodating and went beyond host duties to fulfill our unusual needs. We will definitely return for another country cozy get away. Check in/out instructions were clear and minimal. Thank you for an amazing getaway! Look for us to return. We will definitely tell our friends!

The Floyd EcoVillage cabin was the perfect fit for me. I needed a peaceful place to decompress, but wanted to be close to town for restaurants, etc. It was cozy, quiet, comfortable, and convenient--exactly what I needed!

The cottage was very quaint, clean, great location and perfect for dog owners! Our pups loved the outside area and creek. Close to Wintergreen for skiing, and we also visited breweries and the Blue Ridge tunnel trail nearby. The cottage was warm with plenty of open room space despite its small size. The heater warmed up the place quickly, the stove and kitchen appliances were great as well. Would stay again- highly recommend!

What an amazing stay! Such a cozy cabin and warm ambience. From cozying up inside by the fire to sipping coffee on the porch it was the relaxing stay that I so desperately needed. The porch is expansive and has extremely comfortable rockers, the bed upstairs with the soft lighting at night is romantic and relaxing, and the property was really enjoyable to walk around. The host was friendly and very responsive. I had a wonderful time with my fur babies and would definitely come back.

This place is charming and deep in the mountains. It was EXACTLY what I was looking for - beautiful, peaceful and had everything you could need. It was a small clean and cozy space but still fully equipped mini kitchen with single stovetop and other amenities, washer and dryer are a plus. And a quaint little outdoor area facing the farm animals (so cute!). My only regret is that I only stayed one night. Will definitely be back!

Love this little place hidden in the woods, away from the hustle and bustle. Quiet and comfy, perfect location to just BE. February weather being what it is, we spent most of our time indoors with a fire in the cozy woodstove. Our original plan was for me to spend days in town for an assignment but when it fell through, well, the change in plans was everything I didn't know I needed. Our communication was fabulous - very responsive and helpful with all of my questions.
