Helene's place fitted the bill perfectly. The house was just what we were looking for and the setting was lovely overlooking the beach and the bay. Helene was particularly helpful even to the point of leaving us a load of fresh Mullet which we cooked for our dinner. We really enjoyed our stay in Southend and our mornings and evenings sitting on the balcony eating breakfast and dinner and watching the fisherman come and go. We can thoroughly recommend Helene's place for a stay and can almost guarantee that any guest will be looked after by Helene as though they were a member of her own family.

Jayne's cottage is beautifully presented with thoughtful inclusions and decorative details. Comfy beds with nice linen, a well equipped kitchen and we loved the generous welcome gifts of local treats, and even some treats for our doggos. We felt right at home and had a lovely stay - thanks Jayne!

Perfect place for our family Christmas. A second from the beach surrounded by walking tracks and the national park. House was great with large bedrooms and very comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen and large lounge room. My only concern was the seating - there were only 8 dining chairs and the extender piece from the table was missing which made meal times challenging for our group of 11 people. No outdoor furniture apart from tall stools and one bench seat so we sat on the deck or beach towels on the grass which made it difficult to congregate and relax. Other than that, a great place for a coastal holiday, and we extended one night hoping for some sun that finally came on the last day of our stay

Such a beautiful and cozy little place and perfect for our dogs. Has everything you need for a little getaway and we loved the peacefulness of the setting.

We had the pleasure of staying with one of the most hospitable hosts we have encountered over the years. The property boasts an excellent location, complemented by a spacious garden that adds to its charm. Additionally, we were impressed by the generous provisions in the pantry. Overall, our experience was highly positive and we would wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation to others

A great place close to town and to the beach. The outdoor BBQ and general facilities were great. Perhaps some aircon in the back rooms would be good for hotter days. A wonderful family holiday. Thanks Sandra.

Hands down one of the best Airbnb stays I’ve ever had. Mel and family were so welcoming and warm, and the property was so easy to find and perfectly situated between Robe and Naracoorte. The farm was super peaceful (clear nights full of stars) and Mel even took time to show us her brand new kelpie pups! We loved everything about the place, and am super grateful for the eggs, bacon and milk that she had provided for our stay. I am already planning my next trip back to the Limestone Coast just so I can come back to Mel’s place 😂 Thank you, Mel and Mark, for your hospitality. It was definitely an unforgettable stay ❤️

This place was so nice and we felt right at home with our young kids here. The sleeping spaces were well set up and it was such a luxury to have huge backyard to burn up any spare energy we had. Being able to easily walk into the beach and shops made our stay so relaxing as well.
