We had a great stay at Billy Goat Retreat! Jill and LJ are great hosts. Very responsive and made sure everything was going well for us. We enjoyed the fresh eggs everyday, visiting the goats and relaxing hot tub. The cabin is extraordinary and we hope to return someday. You won't be disappointed here, just book it.

The place is a lovely place to be with family

My husband and I both work in education. We usually go hit a beach on spring break, but we decided we needed somewhere quiet to just be able to breathe and read books and completely unwind. This place was the place!!!! We also both love to cook so we brought tons of food. We made breakfast every morning on the black stone and we made hibachi on it for dinner for two nights. We used the hot tub daily and the fire pit once. The whole house is beautiful and the surroundings are just as amazing. If you're looking for some peace and quiet this is the place. It's a little off the beaten path, but we got the hang of our surroundings. We did hit Mammoth Cave National Park on three different occasions. We also did a hike at Barren Lake area as well. We only went out to dinner twice. All I can say, if you need peace, love to cook, read books, and just need some time away from the hustle and bustle of life, this place is perfect.

The cabin was wonderful!! The cabin was cozy and unique. The area was absolutely beautiful! It was a fantastic stay (just too short… wish we could stay longer).

Awesome Hosts and place! Very responsive, even late at night. Check in was very simple, truly a breeze. Location is awesome. Nice and quiet but only 15 min from town. Hot tub was our favorite. Place is small but comfortable. Good bed. Seemed very clean! Driveway is long and steep but you shouldn’t have any issues in a typical sedan. Great value, would recommend!!

If you're looking for a peaceful spot to relax, while still being in driving distance to a small and large town, this is it! Great setting, cozy and unique home with amenities for a longer stay. Logan County is rife with historical stops and not far from Bowling Green. We enjoyed the fire pit, walking trail, and porch most of all, while our kids loved the swings, chickens and woods. Great value for a great space!

This place was amazing. I went for a specific event and it was a great location for my event. Jessica was so helpful and the pictures don’t do it justice. It was great that each bedroom had its on bathroom. I will definitely be back very soon.

I booked this for my husband and his friends. They said the place was perfect, everything they needed. They loved the property, and the tee box was great fun!

WOW! That's all I can say. I don't know if I have ever delt with a host so accommodating. Tobi and her husband were wonderful. We stayed for 8 or 9 days I believe and would've stayed longer if we could. Nice quite area with beautiful views. But also only a 15 min drive to town. Ours kids loved exploring the property behind the home. Out dogs loved running around the fenced back yard as we do not have one at our home. We also saw deer multiple days, usually in the morning roaming the property. I am from this area and we travel here often. We have now found our place we will stay every time we come to town when available. This is definitely a 5 Star Host and home.

The pictures don't do this place justice! The panaromic views with large windows on three different walls in the main room really gave you amazing peaceful views of nature in all directions. I really enjoyed the layout of the house with the bedrooms in the back and the main room and kitchen in the front. I needed a week to focus on getting work done and this was the perfect place to get away and stay focused. Blake was very responsive to any messages. On Monday I slept late and woke up to construction sounds and found someone driving a John Deere on the property clearing brush. Waking up to brush clearing when you thought you were alone on a private property was a bit startling but after messaging Blake, he had them move away from the house. The driveway is a little steep at the beginning (getting some momentum helped). Once you get to the gate the rest is not too difficult. Overall, I highly recommend this cabin! It is a short trip into town but you feel secluded out in nature.

This home was an absolute GEM! It is in a very quiet and peaceful area. It is definitely outside of the city (Nashville) However if you are looking to escape the hustle and bustle and have an area to just unwind and enjoy your surroundings, this is the place.

This was the perfect escape from our hectic schedules and city lives. The views were pristine, the atmosphere was calming, we instantly felt relaxed and at home. The spacious cabin had everything we should ever need. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay that let us reunite friends and family from over a decade.

Everything was spectacular! The cabin is immaculate, clean, beautiful, all of the positive descriptors. We couldn’t have asked for better hosts. My son got sick before the beginning of our trip, and they prayed for him and kept communicating with us through the entire process. It was great! We will definitely stay here again if we’re in the area for softball, or even just a vacation. Everything was perfect, and anyone would be lucky to stay in this beautiful cabin with the best hosts. Spectacular experience after our 12 hrs drive up from FL. Cabin remodeled new appliances clean cozy fun with musical things for the children. Marty and Grace shared their love for all these precious animals family members❤️ Our children learned so much from their generous time they took to show us around. Very blessed space soaked in peace and lively creatures nature. I would stay here over the luxury high rise hotel in Chicago!!! Surround yourself in this natural refreshing woods and you will feel indeed restored!!!

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Cottontown. Austin made our trip so easy and was accessible throughout the stay. His cottage was lovely and very peaceful. We had a wonderful time and hope to go back!

Lisa and Mack are GREAT hosts! Their place is just as described (only better in person). Check-in was smooth and Mack explained everything upon arrival. This place is peaceful and relaxing. The Horses and donk are the sweetest. Everything you could possibly need is within a short driving distance. If I could leave more stars, I would. I can’t wait to book again! Thanks Mack and Lisa!

Austin's place was a fantastic find! The home was incredibly quiet and spotlessly clean. Austin proved to be an exceptional host, going above and beyond to accommodate our late arrival with our little one. He was consistently responsive throughout our stay, addressing any questions or needs promptly. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring we got great rest each night. The overall experience was excellent, and we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Absolutely loved our stay here! We will definitely put it back on the places to try to go back to. Loved the fire place, the patio and just the overall feel. Definitely had the little things that made you appreciate it that much more. Definitely recommend.
