Roccastrada : locations de vacances

When you stay with Fulvia you feel like you are a long lost relative coming for a visit! The surroundings are calming and picturesque and the home has a wonderful history as a restaurant. The house is very warm and inviting and spacious but maybe not good for those who crave minimalism. The AC works well and although there is no pool, the hot tub became a nice cool soak at night. She gave us a cooking class which was a wonderful experience and she arranged the menu around our likes and dislikes. She also had great recommendations for towns to visit and places to eat and also organized a wine tour close by. She and her family live on the ground floor, but it still feels private in the outdoor areas. We stayed there after a few days in Florence on our way to Rome and it was half way in between, so it was great location to visit towns on the way in and on the way out.

Das Haus von Angelo hat einen wunderschönen Blick auf das Meer und vor allem auf die Insel Giglio. Das Grundstück ist terrasiert aber riesig. Vor allem unsere Hunde haben die Weitläufigkeit des eingezäunten Grundstücks genossen. Das Haus selber hat eine große überdachte Terrasse. Wir waren diesbezüglich sehr froh, da wir auch den ein oder anderen Regentag hatten. Das Haus besitzt zudem alles, was man für einen gelungenen Aufenthalt benötigt. Die Zufahrt zum Haus ist sehr steil. Wir sind diese stets gefahren, haben aber auch ein sehr leistungsstarkes Elektroauto - das Fahren am Berg ist damit relativ einfach. Angelo ist sehr liebenswert und war stets erreichbar. Auf der Hinfahrt haben wir uns in Porto Santo Stefano getroffen - ohne Einweisung hätten wir das Haus vermutlich nicht gefunden. Auch bei einem Stromausfall war er binnen kurzer Zeit am Haus und brachte uns die Schlüssel des Schaltschrankes. Das Haus von Angelo und auch Angelo als Gastgeber können wir uneingeschränkt empfehlen!

While looking for a place to stay it’s often difficult to choose. If we had known how fabulous this place was it would have been a no brainer! We all agreed that this is the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in on all of our travels. Massimiliano was a delight and so personable. He made excellent suggestions one being having a cooking lesson. If you have a chance ask for Francesca! The BEST! One last thing…we left with amazing recommendations for the next part of our trip. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay! Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour chez Stefano et Roberta qui sont très accueillants et attentionnés. Le logement correspond parfaitement à sa description dans un cadre naturel et apaisant. En contrepartie, l'accès peut s'avérer difficile par une route communale que Stefano s'emploie pourtant à maintenir en état. Nous recommanderions donc une arrivée avant la nuit, malgré les explications très précises de Marco. Le séjour est alors extrêmement plaisant, renforcé par les multiples détails proposés dans le logement, les petites attentions, la disponibilité... L'emplacement, si isolé, n'est cependant qu'à 30 minutes de Volterra, San Gimignano, moins d'une heure de Sienne, etc ... Notre séjour restera donc un excellent souvenir et nous recommanderions sans hésiter ce logement à notre entourage.

Wir (7 Freundinnen) haben den Aufenthalt in der Villa sehr genossen! Das Haus, vor allem der Vorgarten und der Pool, sind wunderbar. Maria ist super! Sie hat uns sehr viele Tipps zur Umgebung zugesendet (auch die notwendigen Sachen, wie Einkaufsmöglichkeiten). Zudem wurden wir mit einem sehr feinen Kuchen überrascht und wenn man etwas brauchte, kam sehr schnell eine Antwort. Die Villa ist gut ausgestattet und die Umgebung wunderschön. Parkplätze hat es genügend. Einzig die Schlaglöcher und der Zugang zur Villa sind etwas herausfordernd - jedoch machbar!

Everything was perfect! Nice place to rest with a wonderful chill lounge and a pool. Federica and Enrica were responsive and helpful hosts. Thanks for the time and all the recomendations.

I am very glad that we got such a hostess! She is very polite, very responsive! We met for the first time, but it was as if we had known each other for many years. The house is in a very comfortable and beautiful place!! It is very clean and very cozy!! If I come to Tuscany again, then only to Caterina!)

The house was beautiful and the balconies were lovely! Dominik was so kind and helpful answering all our questions and gave us baby friendly amenities! He even gave us free eggs from the kitchen! Thank you, Sophie
