What an amazing place to stay with your family for a get-away. We had a wonderful, relaxing visit. The views of the ocean are incredible - we were even treated to a 30min orca show one evening! The home is thoughtfully laid out and very spacious. Lots of towels and linens. The kitchen is well appointed, and great for meals and family dinners and boardgames in the evening. Great bathrooms also. The pool was fantastic. We swam every single day and we loved the nearby access to the beautiful, private beach. We also appreciated the extras like the paddle boards, kayaks, pool accessories & boardgames. Word of wisdom: If you're anything like me, you don't intuitively check "House Rules" for additional fees which is where theirs are listed. To access that glorious pool there is a fairly substantial added fee, as well as a fee to bring pets. We'd already booked and paid before we discovered this. It wasn't a deal breaker for us, but might be a game changer for some.

Budd's place was even better than I expected and I can't wait to return. My friends were also blown away by how stunning it was. It had everything you could possibly need and was such a great escape from the city. Highly recommend!

Our stay here was truly amazing. We were in town for a family wedding which was fun but our stay at this beautiful oasis made it an even more memorable time. We loved all the various spaces available which provided ample space for all of our family (6 of us) to hang out together or just find a cozy space to read and relax. The home is very well appointed and stocked (kitchen supplies & equipment, toiletries, linens, towels) - everything you could think of needing was there. We were nervous about using the pizza oven but Louis and Tasha walked us through how to use it and our home made pizzas were a huge hit! The back yard was indeed a relaxing retreat with the waterfall and natural swim pond, including beautiful vegetation and flowers. The privacy of the space made you forget you were in the city! Our hosts definitely anticipated our every need. Pride of ownership was certainly evident. We highly recommend this to anyone looking for an amazing stay in Victoria!

Ya que aparte de ser muy amplia , es muy bonita; Krista siempre se mostró muy atenta y hospitalaria con nosotros, también fue muy accesible con los horarios y la comunicación bastante efectiva (tanto al responder los mensajes como de manera presencial); siempre tuvo mucha iniciativa para apoyarnos en cualquier inconveniente que tuviéramos incluso fuera de lo que ofrecía el alojamiento... Los paisajes y las vistas eran maravillosas desde cualquier ventana de la casa. Recomiendo ampliamente la estancia en ese lugar, ya que te encontrarás con excelentes anfitriones y una granja/casa hermosa ❤️

Such a cozy cabin vibe - all throughout the house! Little touches like throw blankets and hammocks make it feel like a retreat! We will definitely be back!

The terrific kitchen/appliances even improved my cooking! Parking is off the road so it is important to refer to instructions, but it therefore has very safe, ample parking and privacy. It is well set up for large gatherings, retreats, gourmet cooking classes, etc, with kitchen, pool, hot tub, sauna. Has wonderful panoramic views of lake — changing light, scullers and crew boats.

La vue de la maison est proprement exceptionnelle. On se sent très privilégié d’être sur cette terrasse construite autour d’un arbutus. L’intérieur de la maison est conforme aux photos, agréable et plutôt bien équipée. Éric nous a donné des conseils très utiles pour visiter l’île et nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour.

We booked our stay very early since it was for our son’s Wedding. It had plenty of space for all the extended family to stay and gather before our activities for the day. The location was terrific for walking which our family loves to do. Loved that it was close to grocery stores and restaurants. We all enjoyed our stay! Thanks!

Our stay at Marie's home in Birch Bay was nothing short of exceptional! Every detail in the design and décor surpassed our expectations, showcasing a perfect blend of luxury and comfort. The home is beautifully curated, offering an inviting yet elegant atmosphere. The beds were incredibly comfortable, making for a restful retreat, and the thoughtful touches throughout the space made our stay even more enjoyable. We can’t wait for our next visit and would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a truly special getaway!

Huge home with all the needed amenities for our stay! Was very pleased to find a little closet of kids puzzles and books as well. My kids loved the gems and rocks that were collected around the home. Wish there was a little space where we could have found it what some of them were and where they were collected!!

The home is great and the location is quite peaceful and serene. Can't say enough about Nigel as a great host. Icing on the top was Nigel dropping by to help us start the wood camp fire in the backyard since we were newb and needed help :).

Beautiful, peaceful, clean. Everything was perfect! We had our elopement ceremony here and I wasn’t disappointed at all!! Book this location, you won’t regret it.

Perfect place for a family getaway. Plenty of toys, games, books and activities to help pass the time when weather isn't cooperating; kitchen and bathroom well-stocked; ample blankets and cozy places to cuddle up; great location for walking to private beach and quick drive to local eateries and parks. Mitzi was a responsive and thoughtful host, and the info she provided went above and beyond. We look forward to coming back when the weather warms to make use of the hot tub, kayaks and more time to enjoy the beaches!

Seymour was responsive and check-in was a breeze. We felt right at home in the tidy house with spacious rooms. The labels around the house were helpful and unobtrusive. Great location for tourists, and nature lovers. Shopping, dining and a lovely coffeeshop near by. Comfortable beds and linens. This was definitely the best Air B&B I’ve stayed in and hope to stay here again each time I return to the island.

Where do I start, to describe how amazing our experience was! The house is at the top so you can only see a few roofs. The owners do live nearby and have a wonderful dog that visits if you are OK with him. Location is out of town, but only 30 minutes (residential driving, so speed limit is low) to town. So many natural things to see within 10 minutes or just explore around the house! Lots of games at the house to keep everyone busy if the weather is not great. The only downside, other than not being able to live there full time, would be the water pressure. It was very low and difficult to shower if any other water source was on and also washing dishes was hard. If there is availability, we will be back!

We stayed with Shelley to be near Victoria General hospital & the home was perfect for our family. We felt very comfortable and welcomed and would stay again if ever we need to.

We loved this house and were so sad to leave! It’s perfect for a family with young kids and in our down time we worked on so many puzzles and played lots of board games with our kids. We didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to return. It’s also one of the cleanest Airbnb’s we’ve ever stayed in.

My partner and I stayed with our two dogs at Craig's place for about 6 weeks over Christmas and New Years. We absolutely loved the stay and the views are incredible. There was plenty of space for us to host holidays and have family stay with us. We even got to cut down a Christmas tree from the farm to decorate! We both worked from the house and had zero issues with internet. Would highly recommend the stay. Pros: -spacious -plenty of seating -comfortable bed -gorgeous views -great access to Deception Pass and rest of Whidbey -good internet speeds Cons: -one main bath with tub that is difficult to step into for limited mobility folks -low water pressure -planes flying overhead can be very noisy if on work meetings/calls

The Beach House was great! Clean spot, amazing views, cozy living room, functional kitchen, killer sunroom. We had an amazing stay!

Beautiful, fun place to stay near the Olympics. We had a wonderful trip and the house was perfect.
