This is a great villa in a stunning location on Eleuthera. The setting immediately puts in you into vacation mode - with the gorgeous Caribbean sea stretching out in front of you. Rainbow Bay beach is a spectacular beach and a peaceful quick walk from the villa. The double kayak and some beach gear (and tons of beach towels) make for a great beach day. You could spend your whole vaca at the villa and the local beach, but there is so much to explore - so definitely book a car. The house was spotless, safe, comfortable, and well-provisioned; the porch and pool really add to the space. A couple caveats: as others have mentioned, some of the porch/deck furniture was overly worn or broken (though repairs seemed to be underway during our stay) and we had folks working on the grounds during two of our days (they do a great job, but it impinged on the private nature of the villa). That said, we had an overwhelmingly positive experience and recommend the villa.

We stayed at Joy & Dom’s place for our baby moon. It was the perfect location and very walkable to multiple businesses in the heart of Governors Harbor. I highly recommend staying here if this is your first time visiting Eleuthera and you want to get the lay of the land. Joy & Dom provided a list of wonderful recommendations prior to arrival and were very responsive with any questions we had. The home also had everything we need in terms of beach chairs, towels, cooler, etc. We absolutely fell in love with Eleuthera and will be coming back in the near future!

This place is beautiful, private, and relaxing. On our three week vacation we stayed at several places and this was our favorite. Its a small little like cottage on top of a dream. Very private, very clean and the king size bed was amazing. It's located central island so if you are wanting to adventure bith sides of the island the location is great.also twin brothers is 5 minutes away and the beach pot you can see from your deck. The beach pot is real authentic food. I advise you to go try mamas cooking. We will definitely be back

an absolutely gorgeous place to stay!! Chris was extremely helpful and informative. The house is equipped with everything you could possibly want or need. To be able to wake up to beautiful sunrises, to hanging at the fantastic pool or hang out in the hammocks at the edge of the Caribbean Sea, And then to end the day with a cocktail watching the sun set...Amazing!! I highly recommend and can't wait to go back! Thank you Chris and David for a relaxing vacation.

This place is a little piece of paradise! The house was perfect for my husband and I on our honeymoon. Everything was clean. The view from the back deck was absolutely breathtaking. It was private and peaceful!

The location and the view are awesome!!! The mattress in the master bedroom was very comfortable. If you are looking for privacy, peace and quiet, this villa will meet all your expectations! The road to get to this villa is rough. We rented and jeep and I was glad we did. You do not need a 4X4, but a vehicle with some clearance would be best and will also get you to different secluded beaches around the island.

My husband and I stayed at the Bird Cage for a quick wedding anniversary trip, and it was a wonderful experience. The Bird Cage was immaculate, with a modern and tastefully decorated interior. Although we spent most of our time indoors, the location was convenient, being just a short drive from Governor's Harbour, ATMs, shops, and more. Check-in was very smooth, and Solivia graciously allowed us to arrive early. She personalized our stay with a beautiful welcome message, wine, candles, and drinks in the fridge. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy for us to prepare meals at home. We felt so comfortable and relaxed that we didn’t want to leave. We would definitely recommend this place to couples looking for a relaxing and private getaway. You won't regret it! Thank you, Solivia; we will be back for sure!

Tuckaway was so clean and comfortable, we loved our stay! The location is perfect for walking to Surfer's Beach and also in a great central spot to explore the area's other beaches. The kitchen was well-stocked for cooking, and we slept great in the beds. It just felt peaceful there enjoying the breeze and quiet. Thank you for sharing your property with us! We hope to return soon.

Would book this place again in a heartbeat. Eleuthera is a special place that I could go on and on about. (Family of 4, 8 and 10 year old girls, you will have a great time if you have a sense of adventure and want to explore. A break from the typical resort experience). The deck on the back of Kathy's house, the view of the Caribbean (and the crazy bright stars at night), and the quality of the home were incredible. Kathy is a great host and Wallace was right on point on all fronts (we had a nail in a tire on the rental car and this legend dropped us off a different car, had the tire repaired, and swapped it out while we were at dinner like it never happened). Book with confidence. One comment I would point out for folks visiting the island for the first time, like us, is that there are fewer restaurants and creature comforts staying in the north. Governor's Harbor to the south is more populated and has more to offer as far as restaurants, markets, etc. if that is what you want.
