Amazing location. We loved our short walk through the dunes to a great, quiet spot on Manzanita beach. I've never had a master bedroom with a better view. It can not be beat. The home has a lovely, spacious, open floor plan with a great table for eating and games. The bathrooms and kitchen were well cleaned and the kitchen had all we needed to cook. Check in was easy, and Sunset to Sunset staff were very responsive and fast when we had a small issue. Cleaning staff professional and kind (ran into them as we were checking out.) You are best to assume owners will be present and active on their outdoor porch while you are there. They are kind and respectful, but you may experience their dog barking while they are out, the occasional smoke of cigar drifting down, or a phone conversation occurring overhead while you read on the porch. For us, that was all manageable, and together, with the owner above, we watched 4 bull elk walk the dunes right out the door on our last morning. Magic

My daughter and I enjoyed a brief stay at the Knotty Pine. The homey cabin is a short walk to the beach. It was cold when we arrived but we found the 3 wall heaters and, in about an hour or so, the cabin was toasty warm. In the morning we climbed up to the deck in the tree and enjoyed a hot cup of tea in the cold rain- totally worth the chill to see the amazing view! Thank you, Rory!

We had a great stay at the Sea Gypsy! The house is very comfortable and we would stay there again. The location is very close to the beach and Cape Kiwanda, we enjoyed exploring Bob Straub State Park, which was less than 5 minutes driving and definitely walkable from the house. The master bedroom was spacious with it's own bathroom and had such wonderfully soft sheets! The kitchen was well-equipped with good-quality pots and pans. Families with kids might want to bring their own plastic plates/ bowls/ cups for kids. Otherwise it was family-friendly and the kids enjoying the games available. Thank you for hosting us!

This was our second trip to The Rocky Whale in the last six months. We love it here. For us, the location is incredible. We spend as much time on the beach possible and being able to cross the street to the dune path and be at the ocean in less than 5 minutes is incredible. Low-tide tide pools? Check. Entire groups of seals? Check. Eagles? Check. Milky Way on a clear night? Also check! We are grateful for the ability to bring our dogs and the big open space downstairs to be able to house their crates. The bed/bath/kitchen has always been clean and comfortable and when the storms come through being able to hang out in the big living space upstairs and keep ourselves entertained (tv… storm… games.. etc) has come in handy. The kitchen is well appointed. We eat in when we stay here and there is nothing we haven’t been able to handle (sometimes a little improvisation is needed!) We were never able to find the tv remote on our second trip… but there is an app for that.

Our weekend at The Gullymonster was beyond magical. Chris and Amy were extremely responsive, helpful, and welcoming as hosts. This is truly a forever find and we cannot wait to plan our next visit. We loved Flamingo Jim’s, Tillmook Creamery, and all the fun restaurants in the area. The beds were extremely comfortable and the living space was perfect for a weekend full of dice, good tv, food, and just watching the waves and weather roll in. The hot tub was a great touch and we loved ending our nights relaxing. We can’t wait to come back!

Highly recommend staying at Sam's cottage for your next visit to Rockaway Beach. The cottage is exactly as described, in a great location, quiet and is very clean and up-to-date. Sam is a great host, attentive and communicative and provides clear instructions and recommendations. Be sure to check out the Big Cedar! We hope to be back again to stay at Sam's next time in Rockaway.

We enjoyed our stay at this unit. The beach was literally steps away. The host was very responsive and communicated clearly and quickly. We had an issue at the beginning of our stay but she proactively worked to fix the issue promptly. We appreciated her great customer service and attention to our comfort during our stay. Thank you! Carol was an amazing host, very responsive and offered early check-in! The home was super comfy and housed our 8 woman book club well. Really loved the quiet, the hot tub, and the short walk onto the beach. Would definitely stay again!!

this was a nice space, clean & comfy. should note it it a hotel room. I was reminded that it's "no view no pets" not an issue, but should say hotel no beach view. Easy access to beach and great for the quick stay. thanks

Everything about this house was amazing ours kids said they will never forget this trip. The pool was a blast. Plenty of space for everyone to sleep beautiful back yard and view of the lake. So close to the beach. Plenty of towels.host was great. Bbq grill for use in the back and fire pit. Absolutely will book again.

The house, location and area were wonderful! The only draw back we experienced was the road that it’s located on has so many potholes and there were huge. If we had not had a truck it would have caused damage to a car.

We had a great weekend. Enjoy the beach and the sea.

This was our second stay at Angela's. Great place, perfect location, comfortable, everything we need for a stay at the coast. My son loved the beach toys, we loved the kitchen with all the amenities, and the sound of the waves so close. Our senior pup was happy and tired each day. Had a wonderful stay at this amazing condo. The view can’t be beat! Brent’s place had everything we could want in a vacation home. The kitchen was well appointed and a bowl full of snacks and a bottle of wine was the icing on the cake! The beds were super comfortable. Very close to town and steps from the beach. Lots of little extras like phone/watch chargers on the bedside tables and shampoo/conditioner/lotion in the bathroom. Highly recommended and we are looking forward to coming back soon!

Things we loved: Location: Lots of beach area that we pretty much had to ourselves the whole week. We flew kites, played football, walked the beach and even had a few campfires. View: Awesome view from the 2nd story condo. We watched a sea lion bask in the sun one day and a bald eagle find its dinner each night. Kitchen: Great kitchen that has everything to prepare all your meals. We stopped by Costco in Portland and Safeway in Tillamook and cooked our own meals. (Grocery store in town is small) Space: Great size for 2 adults, 2 teens and a lab. Host: Very responsive and helpful. Things to consider: Dining space: There is no dining table, just a bar, so if it’s rainy and you want to play games that can be tricky. Stairs: There are quite a few stairs to the condo, we knew this ahead of time so we were prepared for it, but it still made loading and unloading quite a bit more difficult. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would come back again!

Seacliff is a magical home in a gorgeous location. No one in my family wanted to leave. The house itself is stunning and well appointed. The decor and attention to detail is amazing. We had everything we needed to make meals, sleep like babies, relax and restore ourselves. The hot tub and sauna took our visit to another level. The path to the beach is closed due to erosion so it's a bit of a walk to the beach but totally do-able and worth it. We truly loved our visit and hope we're able to revisit Seacliff again soon! Thank you for having us.

We had a wonderful stay here. The location is absolutely perfect, just steps to the beach. It was amazing just sitting on the deck watching the waves and listening to the ocean. Note: the rocky steps to the beach might be an issue with someone with mobility issues, but otherwise fine. We would stay again. Great house, right on the ocean, and very walkable to the main part of town. Note: the place was very clean except for certain areas of the kitchen (e.g. greasy cupboard handles, cutlery drawer full of crumbs - we emptied and cleaned it, washed cutlery, and wiped down all handles). All cleaning supplies are available.
