The house was as described, I personally enjoyed the hot tub with unobstructed ocean views, the deck’s glass fence was a plus as we had a clear view of the ocean from the living room, which was the main reason we rented this house. Very short walk to the ocean can’t beat that. The fenced backyard allowed us to let the dog out worry free. She has plenty of towels for everyone to use without having to wash, plenty of blankets too. A grocery store is just a block from the house so no driving stress oh and did I mentioned the coffee shop across the street, my goodness we could see it from the kitchen window to check when was open. Kitchen had everything we needed to prep meals, and the coffee bar was a lovely surprise, also the grill in the back deck was great to have and had enough propane for our bbq. Enough parking space for our four.

Absolutely loved this stay. Highly recommend. The place is absolutely beautiful and a hidden gem. The views are breathtaking and so beautiful. Even right off 101 there was hardly any noise and it was so quiet and peaceful, neighbors were friendly as well. The kayaks and paddle board was a nice touch we had a beautiful weekend and explored the lake even getting in the water off the dock! I truly have no complaints besides the cleanliness of the hot tub it seemed like previous people who stayed got in with sand on them and didn’t clean properly before getting in so it left dirty residue, but it was still nice and relaxing. Plenty of towels which was amazing because we used quite a few when swimming and using the hot tub. The kitchen was equipped with literally anything you could think of which was amazing as we cooked most the nights we were there. We will definitely be coming back if possible as we adored it!

We absolutely loved our stay from beginning to end. Perfectly located for going North to Seaside or Astoria, or South to Tillamook and Cape Mears. The house has such a fun layout and was pristinely cleaned upon arrival. The outdoor porch swings, giant hammock and plentiful blackberries, apples and tomatoes made outside time super enjoyable. The house is very well stocked which was really nice, the little grocery stores closeby can be super expensive. We cooked mostly at home and had everything we needed from soups to pizza to baking cookies . Beds were super comfy. The projector and wet bar downstairs made movie parties a norm for us while there. We were there for some of the warmest days of Oregon and it's probably one of the few times you would desire AC but by cracking windows open and using fans provided, we stayed fairly comfortable. The variety of books was impressive and the speaker system you could hook your phone to made for some fun cleaning/dance parties. Thanks Dawn!!

This is a really magical home with access right to the water and privacy - felt like we were in our own world. The canoe at the side of the lake was a hit with my husband and the kids. I can tell this place is probably amazing during the summer. The house itself is dated and does look like it was a DIY remodel but certain areas like the kitchen seemed professional. The basement is a little musty but the kids slept upstairs so wasn't an issue. The views and surroundings were the selling point and did not disappoint. The house did have some cobwebs and areas that could use deeper cleaning but the kitchen was clean and had all the items we needed to cook meals. Getting in was easy with an access code and we felt iTrip did a good job with this rental.

Our stay at Jen’s was great! The kitchen was well stocked so we could make our meals easily and the location to the beach was ideal. The place was exactly as described and it made for a fun weekend away playing board games and relaxing out of the city.

We very much enjoyed this place. The location was great - on the beach and close to town. We had 8 adults, 4 infants and a dog and there was room for everyone. If we wanted to all be together, it was done. If you needed to get away from the crowd, especially with the little ones, no problem. More than adequately provisioned which is VERY much appreciated. Plenty of towels, toilet paper, paper towels, coffee, etc. Joyce was responsive to our inquiries in a prompt manner. We will return the next time we have a crowd like this time.

Coral retreat was so fun! My kids didn’t want to leave the garage even with the beach in walking distance! The town is cute and locals were so friendly. Host was super responsive and helpful! House was fully stocked and the kitchen had everything I needed to cook for nine people! Highly recommend! Had all the baby stuff we needed! Dog friendly and kept kids entertained.

A fantastic stay for a trip to the coast! More secluded location, but still minutes from the beach made for a very peaceful stay. Wonderful spot for a stay with kids ir dogs. Note that there is actually MORE space than is shown in the listing.

This was a great place to stay. Comfortable and quiet, a short walk to the beach, or you can cozy up in the hot tub in the back yard. The host was very informative and gave clear info for check-in/out as well as offered some local recommendations. Great for a private Oregon coast getaway, or could be a good spot for a family or small group.

This was our second trip to The Rocky Whale in the last six months. We love it here. For us, the location is incredible. We spend as much time on the beach possible and being able to cross the street to the dune path and be at the ocean in less than 5 minutes is incredible. Low-tide tide pools? Check. Entire groups of seals? Check. Eagles? Check. Milky Way on a clear night? Also check! We are grateful for the ability to bring our dogs and the big open space downstairs to be able to house their crates. The bed/bath/kitchen has always been clean and comfortable and when the storms come through being able to hang out in the big living space upstairs and keep ourselves entertained (tv… storm… games.. etc) has come in handy. The kitchen is well appointed. We eat in when we stay here and there is nothing we haven’t been able to handle (sometimes a little improvisation is needed!) We were never able to find the tv remote on our second trip… but there is an app for that.

Yi's place was comfy and beautiful! Close to the beach and several other fun locations, so it's easy to walk or drive to places you plan on going! The hot tub is a great feature, especially on those cool beach nights! There is so much room in this place and it even has a covered front porch. Yi was a wonderful host, so responsive, and very flexible. Yi's friendliness and hospitality made the stay go smoothly. Yi has made sure that there are several amenities so that your stay is as convenient as possible. The only suggestion or advice that I have is due to the house being right on the highway, it can be difficult backing out, so either be careful or turn around first. But there is plenty of space for cars to park in front of the house.
