Rockdale : locations de vacances

We went up for a wedding in a very small Texas town, not expecting much in a B&B. We were so excited when we drove up and opened the front door. We were instantly transformed to another place, somewhere in Europe. Stephanie has an designer eye and the rooms were beautifully decorated, attention was paid to each room with extra comforts from home (whether it was in the bathroom, master or kitchen). She had a welcome basket with snacks (even a tennis ball for our dog), wine and sparkling water in the fridge and a cute instruction sheet on all the things we needed to know. The outdoor patio opened into a beautiful meadow with a pond, birds chirping everywhere and a lovely breeze, that we spent all afternoon enjoying. If you're ever near Rockdale, this B&B is a must. Thanks for your hospitality!

This place was absolutely beautiful, well maintained, and in a great location. It was nice and quiet which was perfect for our little family vacation. Will definitely be back!!

Excellent place away from the city! Plenty of room to spread out and relax. Caught a bass in the pond! We didn’t see any, but if you’re a midwesterner, be aware that there are snakes and wild boars in Texas. Maria has bug deflector things in the outlets inside, so bugs weren’t a problem in the house!

Great stay and would recommend if you’re looking for a private area out of the city. Very hard to locate especially at night

We so enjoyed our one-night stay at Sunset View. We arrived in time to watch the sunset on the porch, and we loved the company of Rusty the Dog. The setting is so beautiful (great for star gazing, too). The home is clean and comfortable, and it's clear that Kathleen is thoughtful and intentional in making her guests feel welcome. Highly recommend.

We had an amazing stay! I have only been back home for a few days and already recommended it to several different people. The Airbnb had every little touch you could need that often gets overlooked (like extra throw blankets!), and we had a blast hanging out on the front porch and talking to the llamas. We would love to come back again someday. Thank you Bonnie!!

We had a wonderful stay at this private, relaxing oasis! It’s great for a weekend away or as a landing spot during the Round Top festival. Brad was a delight to speak with and they had three wonderful dogs we enjoyed meeting. I hope to return again!

This is just as magical as it's described. I appreciated the craftmanship of the combination of wood, metal and concrete. I am all about anything different and this is truly the epitome of different. It's beautiful, to put it lightly. It is well worth the experience...!
