I love Maine's working waterfront and even though my stay was in the off season there was a wonderful glimpse into our fishing economy and the hard work it takes to keep it happening. The quality of light in the unit was amazing, and viewing the moon across the water was stunning. Easy to access all that the midcoast has to offer within an easy ride, to Rockland and Damariscotta and Boothbay and Wiscasset -- my favorite spots. Beautiful places nearby to hike and explore. Onsite staff people Debbie and Blair were wonderful; when I had an issue with the internet -- it was fixed quickly. Unit was well equipped for a person who loves to cook. Also having a bathtub in a waterfront apartment was a plus since many don't have them. Clean, comfortable, safe-feeling -- all one could want in a Maine coastal vacation. Wish I could have stayed longer but instead I'll just plan to go back again.

What a lovely, lovely place! Tastefully decorated and equipped with all the essentials. The upstairs bedroom is spacious and filled with light and offers a beautiful view of the sunset in the evening and the arrival of an assortment of songbirds in the morning. The bed is so comfortable and the space so quiet that I had the best night of sleep in some time. A network of walking trails are close by and Portland is easily accessible, so much so that we popped in each of the three days we were in the area. The hosts, David and Kate, are warm, welcoming and responsive while somehow managing to be simultaneously “invisible”. A gem, for sure.

We had an amazing stay at Adilah’s location. Beautiful views from the house. Everything was close enough either to have a nice long walk or to Uber. Her place was just as described and we felt very welcome! Amazing location for a group or family vacation.

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon! It was a very cute and peaceful place!

Loved staying here! It's a very short walk to Kettle Cove State Park and Crescent Beach. Cape Elizabeth is a charming, quiet little town. If you're looking for a peaceful relaxing getaway spot, this is it. You'll feel right at home. Plus the hosts are very responsive and friendly. I'm already thinking about when I can return!

Great apartment in a very walkable part of Portland, a perfect location for exploring the city. It was clean & spacious with a very comfortable bed and we appreciated the off-street parking. The owner Jeff and his wife are very friendly and served us a fantastic meal at their small brewpub downstairs. I normally wouldn’t choose a rental above a pub, but theirs closes at 9pm every night, so noise wasn’t an issue at all. Would highly recommended this unit for a stay in Portland.

Great spot in Owl's Head. Super quiet and has a nice dedicated parking spot. Blue door makes it easy to spot, but be aware because Google maps seems to want to take you past the house. The kitchen was well stocked and the living space is comfortable. Would love to have an ottoman for the chairs (I'm a little short) but no real complaints. You can hear the ocean sometimes and the neighbors are friendly. Had a great stay.

Jennifer was responsive and helpful. The house is great. It is the most well furnished home (I want that kitchen) we have rented, and my girlfriend group and I get away twice a year. Beautiful ocean view from two bedrooms, but easy walk to the beach. Cool to see two lighthouses in the distance and the gorgeous moon shining on the water. Very interesting shoreline, and also a nice walk to Fort Popham. Lots of room in this very comfortable air b and b, and that rain shower water spout in the downstairs bathroom is amazing. This nearby area is quintessential Maine.

The house is stunning. I stayed here for a work trip. The location and the ambience were perfect to get my work done. I wish I had more time to explore the beach area. But my booking coincided with a lovely snow fall. The house is very cozy. The hosts were very responsive to all of my questions. The interior decor is lovely. And I slept really well on the master bedroom bed. I’d love to know the brand the mattress is. Thank you so much. I look forward to returning on a leisure trip when the weather is warmer. But the snow is absolutely lovely.

We had a wonderfully relaxing week at the cottage right on the water! It was cozy and comfortable with all the amenities one needs. Our hosts were very responsive, provided a compilation of restaurants and "things to see and do" in the area - a very useful guide. What an amazing time I had at this place! I got married to my best friend and we had our families joined together! Everyone cooking every night, beach walks, board games, and fires for when it got a little cold. I couldn’t have asked for a better wedding week! We had such a lovely stay at this eclectic and cozy Airbnb tucked away in a charming small town on the coast of Maine. The space was full of personality—thoughtfully decorated with unique touches that made it feel both homey and special. Every corner seemed to tell a story, and we loved discovering the little details throughout the home. The atmosphere was peaceful and welcoming, perfect for a relaxing getaway.

10/10 would stay here again. The location is gorgeous and private but still convenient to all there is to do in the area. Bathrooms are brand new and have heating fans which was great for chilly mornings.

We’ve been going to Boothbay almost every summer for more than 30 years and have stayed in many different rentals over that time. Of all those places, Dan’s is one of the very best, definitely in the top two or three. The best things about it include, first, the location. It’s just a few minutes from town and all the places to shop and eat, but it’s also in a very quiet secluded spot near Linekin Bay. A big plus is its closeness to a beautiful little private beach with swimming, kayaking, picnic tables, a dock, and tidepools for exploring. Second, the house itself is great: very spacious common areas; a big, beautiful and well-equipped kitchen — my wife said it was “unbelievable;” three modern bathrooms (although none with a tub and only one with a shower — the one minus we noted); very comfortable beds; excellent lights for reading at night, and a huge screened porch with lots of seating. Third, Dan was truly an excellent host: he always responded quickly, graciously, and effectively

The vacation home was so enjoyable, we left a first ever, entry in your "Guest Book." Located on the water, the home had an outdoor porch which was great for viewing the lake in the early morning hours and stargazing at night. Beautiful dock and beach area with kayaks, all the water toys were available. The interior of the home was well appointed and had everything we needed to make the stay an enjoyable one. Looking forward to returning someday!

Unit was very clean, situated in a quiet residential area and within walking distance to many of Portland's best bars, restaurants and attractions. Host was communicative and provided clear guidance on check-in/-out procedures and offered up suggestions to local attractions. On my recommended list - dinner at Twelve (one of the best restaurants in the US, IMHO); on-site food truck tacos washed down with a Hazy IPA at Bellflower or Austin Street Brewery; an everything bagel with lox & morning latte at Forage; the East Promenade for a food truck lunch, then a stroll along the waterfront trail to the port area for an ice cream cone at Gorgeous gelato; afternoon coffee at Double Great Coffee; and a post-dinner whiskey @ Independence Ice. Only downside on my visit was the upstairs neighbor. Dude clearly isn't a principal dancer in the Portland Ballet, as light on his feet wouldn't describe him. Not a stereo or TV issue - you can just hear the noise from him walking (8AM-10PM when there)

We enjoyed staying at this place for three comfortable nights. Scratch bakery across the street is a must!

Great location, but a lot of money for the quality of the accommodation and size. But very quiet and comfortable.

Place was beautiful, very nicely decorated and comfortable. Patrick was great in his communication and hospitality. To be honest for elderly folk it is a beautiful location, great scenic views but be prepared to drive to downtown, the young do it easily while I struggled with the hills on the walk. That is no knock on Patrick, the condo nor location. Just something to prepare for if you’re planning on walking. Had a great weekend and hold no regrets staying there at all. Thank you Patrick!

BEAUTIFUL landscape directly on a lake with access to fishing poles, kayaks, and canoes, we felt like we didn’t need to leave the property at all. Perfect location to visit Acadia and near by towns. I wish we could have stayed for twice as long. The condo itself seems to be brand new! The beds were comfortable and the decorations and big screen tv were a nice touch. We spent hours on the dock and in the lake (kayaks). Cannot wait to return to this slice of heaven.

Our stay was absolutely fantastic! The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was incredibly responsive and thoughtful, even in the snow storm he made sure we were able to travel in and out of the home. The location was perfect—close to everything yet peaceful. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would love to stay again. Highly recommend!

What a beautiful location and house. There’s nothing better than sitting in the living room or front porch and being able to see the Belfast Bay. The house is very clean and neat. Beds are comfortable, shower is very hot. Don’t miss the sunrise in the mornings. Overall this is one of our favorite places we have stayed in Belfast.
