Rocky Mountains : locations de vacances en bord de mer

This was our second trip to The Rocky Whale in the last six months. We love it here. For us, the location is incredible. We spend as much time on the beach possible and being able to cross the street to the dune path and be at the ocean in less than 5 minutes is incredible. Low-tide tide pools? Check. Entire groups of seals? Check. Eagles? Check. Milky Way on a clear night? Also check! We are grateful for the ability to bring our dogs and the big open space downstairs to be able to house their crates. The bed/bath/kitchen has always been clean and comfortable and when the storms come through being able to hang out in the big living space upstairs and keep ourselves entertained (tv… storm… games.. etc) has come in handy. The kitchen is well appointed. We eat in when we stay here and there is nothing we haven’t been able to handle (sometimes a little improvisation is needed!) We were never able to find the tv remote on our second trip… but there is an app for that.

This place was great! We stayed for the night and it was so peaceful. And so close to beach! Would definitely visit again.

Our family stayed for two nights and had a blast watching movies, playing games and walking on the beach. House has a beautiful view of the bay and the bridge. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked.

I cannot recommend this home enough! This was the first vacation my elderly grandma has taken since the pandemic and the view was so perfect for her since she could not walk the beach. She sat at the table, the place had everything we could have needed and we would be so happy to go back

What a delightful place to stay and restore yourself. The house was full of reminders that you are there to recharge and relax and can easily can do so with the amenities provided. The hot tub and ocean access were far beyond our expectations of creating a wonderful trip for our family. We will be back to visit in the future and letting our friends know of this hidden gem.

Carol was an amazing host, very responsive and offered early check-in! The home was super comfy and housed our 8 woman book club well. Really loved the quiet, the hot tub, and the short walk onto the beach. Would definitely stay again!!

Our family had a wonderful stay here for a long weekend! The house was in a great location with private access to the beach. It was perfect for our dog and kids! Kirsten was the most responsive host we could have asked for and was very understanding. Highly recommend for a getaway!

super beautiful view from master and back deck. easy to find and short drive in to town. could use some more bath towels and the lights were out in the bedroom but there were lamps, just to dim for me. careful with the downstairs shower as it gets fiesty and will spray all over the place. it is a great massage option though. kitchen has loads of things for all your cooking needs.

Our first time to the coast and we loved our stay! Great location, adorable home and neighborhood, and quick walk to the beautiful beach. Our kids spent hours in the tide pools then warmed up in the hot tub. The home fit our family comfortably and was a great place to stay!

Great condo with wonderful views. Well equipped and stocked with plenty of pillows, towels, bedding, etc. The patio has a bit to be desired as it's very worn and in need of refurbishing, but the inside is updated and cozy. The pool area is nice, however, if the pool is "heated" it's very little heat and almost unbearable to go in. The hot tub is nice and large. Bed was firm but comfortable enough. Hosts are very responsive and helpful.

We had a wonderful short getaway at Sue’s place! The condo is just steps from the beach, pool, and jacuzzi. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves was relaxing, and the ocean breeze was very refreshing. It was exactly what we needed to reset and recharge. Everything was just as described, and we would stay here again! Thank you, Sue!

This place was nicer than the photos and absolutely perfect for a girls weekend. Everything was well equipped and labeled. The location was very quiet and peaceful with great access to a quiet beach. You definitely need a car as it's a little isolated but that added to the charm.

We had a great time at Seascape. The home was right by the beach and playground, also central location to lots of places by Santa Cruz and Monterey. The home was spacious for three adults, a toddler and baby. It was also very clean and comfortable. We will definitely be back!

Great stay for a low-key gathering of friends which included a few young children. Spacious common area was great for everyone to be able to hangout together. Kitchen was well-equipped; we cooked a few meals. The neighborhood is peaceful and beautiful. Responsive and friendly host. Flexible checkout. Would stay again!

We had a wonderful stay at Dustin‘s Beach house. The house felt private and peaceful. It was so nice to be able to walk to the beach. The kitchen was well appointed, which made it easy to cook. There were also lots of great restaurants in the area. The beds were comfortable and clean. Dustin was a very responsive and proactive host. Overall we had a wonderful stay and I would happily return.

Highly recommend Roy’s place! The location was perfect and the view from the master bedroom of the water was amazing! The apartment was very spacious and clean and it had everything we needed! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again!

Wonderful place for our family vacation. We enjoyed the comfortable living room with fire place, especially our week there as it was rainy and cold. Kitchen is well stocked and was easy to make our own meals. Beds are great with lovely linens. Expansive view of the water was the highlight. Would definitely recommend this place.

This is now one of my favorite places on the planet. I feel so lucky that we got to spend time here. I can't wait to come back! The view is beyond amazing! The house is impeccable. Amenities are abundant. Everything you need is there. The kitchen had every dish, pan, and utensil you could need, along with staples so you don't have to get basics from the store like salt and cooking oil. Everything feels thoughtful and comforting. ❤️ We loved kayaking and watching salmon jump out of the water and seals pop their heads up to say hi! It's very close to hundreds of great hikes and parks, but only if you can tear yourself away from the soft beds and idyllic beauty. It is truly a gorgeous place, a spot of peace in an often-chaotic world.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Anchor Down Inn. The home exceeded expectations, such beautiful views and a comfy, clean and spacious home. The balloons, cake, and flowers for a birthday were such a thoughtful and sweet gesture. We were greeted with a friendly note, wine, and snacks. The hot tub was wonderful and the surprise visit of Seals our first morning was incredible. Rachel was very responsive and helpful if I had any questions, and even let us check in early the day of our arrival. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a private getaway. We will definitely be back!

Stayed at this house with a few friends for the weekend and had such a lovely time. Serene views of the passage from a heated deck and hot tub, and spacious living quarters for everyone to have separate sleeping quarters.

We liked the condo and location very much. Very peaceful, quiet and private, the unit is well maintained, and everything we used worked. Kitchen was great, we used it for breakfast everyday. Hardly anyone walking the beach during our stay, and it was relaxing watching the tide come in and out, with the lights from Canada at the distance. A place to stay if you're after a quiet, relaxing vacation. The restaurant at the nearby resort is a very short walk away, and pretty good even with the short menu, as their main kitchen is closed for renovation.

What a beautiful and inviting home…and those views! The house was clean and well maintained. Would definitely stay again if ever were in the area. Lori was so responsive when questions did arise.

Just stayed three nights and felt like I was experiencing a piece of heaven. The view is incredible! The pictures definitely don’t do it justice. The place was spotless and DJ and Karen were wonderful hosts! You won’t regret staying in this place! It’s totally worth it!

Wow! Do not pass this one up. Perfect location on the beach. Super clean and spacious. We will be back for sure!
