Our stay at the yurt was amazing. The place is vast, the nights are perfectly quiet and dark for resting. There something really soothing in the ritual of warming the place and the sauna every night. I strongly recommand staying there, but carefully read the ad considering that this might not be the experience some guest expecting luxury are looking for.

A great value for a unique and comfortable stay. The ambiance of the yurt, set up against the hillside, was a perfect place to relax, unplug, and unwind. The heated floors and mini-split did a nice job of quietly keeping the yurt comfortably warm - not something every place like this can say. And we LOVED the private hot springs tub - what an amazing amenity.

Beautifully crafted yurt with a lovely motif & bathhouse made with love. Comfortable & cozy! It is the perfect romantic getaway and a peaceful retreat for couples that want to bring their loyal canine companions ♡ absolutely memorable stay ! Many things to see & eat in Golden & many hikes and trails to venture out to ! Suzanne & Justin are very easy going people and won't hesitate to help you when needed!

It was fun to experience a yurt with my kids. Simple accommodations in a beautiful location right near the entrance to City of Rocks. The heater worked great…turned it on in the early morning. Tons of bunnies outside as we sat and watched the sunrise.

What a relaxing and beautiful vacation location! Trails and gorgeous views with lovely beaches within a few minutes walk! LOVED the Yurt. This was a real adventure for the two of us. Everything was fun, and the Yurt is truly a gem. I wanted to give a bad review just so it wouldn't get constantly booked! Thank you for a fabulous, must repeat stay!

The Yurt was so much fun. It is camping, or glamping I should say, so keep that in mind. But it did have everything we needed. It was a little cold at night, but Pam got us extra heating blankets to help. Pam was very responsive to our needs and she went out of our way to make sure we were comfortable and happy, which I really appreciated. The bathroom was shared with one other Yurt and the water was warm (not hot) but, remember, you are GLAMPING so that should be expected. The microwave and the wifi are in the "barn," which is a short walk away. I have AT&T and had no service in the Yurt. We loved our time there and will definitely consider coming back again. It is in such an amazing location and you do get away from all the crazy of city life.

Amazing views. Very nice experience. Glad we booked this at the last minute. Loved the surroundings and home amenities. Met the host’s husband who was very kind. Overall loved our stay.

Todd and Monica are among the nicest people you are ever going to meet. Very flexible with our reservation adjustment. They go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable and at home. We stayed in their yurt in mid February and it was cozy and warm. The bed was also very comfortable. Great location proximal to Schweitzer ski hill.

We loved staying here and would return again during another season! The yurt is magical in the sun or in the rain. Our dogs enjoyed roaming around the property and we all got cozy next to the fire. I would recommend you bring some slippers or slides for your stay.

Camping and being outdoors are the greatest time as a family we have and winter trips are always the hardest. This was a great place to get the camping experience with still having enough amenities to not have the kids complain. The ski park was amazing and we will be coming back again

Staying at the Scappy Duck Yurt was truly a one of a kind experience. The layout and all that was inside was amazing and worked really well. The craftsmanship was a work of art. We enjoyed meeting Katie and her son they were so kind and friendly. We liked helping with the ducks, watching the beautiful sunsets and stargazing. We had 5 of us but there was room for 8 people. We enjoyed making meals, playing games, visiting Mesa Verde and just relaxing. We definitely recommended staying here and will come back in the future.

This was my 2nd time at the yurt but the first time I’d brought my daughter. We had everything we needed for a beautiful and relaxing visit with quality time and experiences. We soaked in the pool several times a day, read a lot, made some delicious food, played games, watched movies and just talked and relaxed a lot. I’m so thankful for a fun experience with my daughter while she was on spring break. We never left. There was plenty to do. She absolutely loved it and we will both be back.

It was truly more amazing in person. We walked up into the yurt, it was beautifully light up, cozy, and warm. The outdoor BBQ area was lovely as well. We got to see an eagle on the drive in and a fawn deer crossed our path while hanging by the fire. Would highly recommend and we will be returning to this relaxing get away.

The yurt was beautiful and well cared for! What a hidden gem in the middle of a large city. I would love to see the grounds during the spring and summer months. The experience is well thought out, with the hot tub and sauna. My only suggestion would be to put a privacy fence up in the area that separates the house and barn from the yurt. With other renters in the barn hanging out on the deck, there wasn’t as much privacy as I hoped for. Otherwise what a great experience! Thank you!!

Very private and rustic, but still feels like you’re Glamping. Hot tub is in a private area and there’s a nice fire pit, the bathroom and washing area is spotless and very aesthetically pleasing.

A quiet stay in a comfortable yurt, but the surroundings set this apart. We felt like we were living on a quiet vineyard. I can’t say enough about the serenity we experienced. I absolutely loved Tyler’s yurt. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful experience. My kids loved staying in a yurt. Fun and unique experience for them. Spacious inside for all of us. Beautiful garden surroundings, nice patio right outside. Thoughtful instructions and recommendations. Peter was super responsive and proactively communicative to make sure our stay was going well and we had what we needed. My kiddos are already asking to go back.

Greatly enjoyed my time here! Mary was a fantastic host. Super responsive the and even had a fire started so that the yurt was nice and toasty when I arrived. The space was clean and tidy. The perfect little getaway. Definitely recommend!

Boyd was there to greet me and Eshu (my dog) when we arrived. He even helped me take my things inside. He was thorough in his explanations on how to operate the heating systems, shower bunk, and electronics. The property was gorgeous and had a true hobby farm feel. His dogs are great (the little scrappy one will make you laugh), the horse added a nice ambiance while it was grazing, and Boyd working on his fencing was not a distractions, it made me feel even more at home. If you are looking for a comfortable place with all the basic amenities, a great view, and a welcoming environment; this is it.

Beautiful yurt! Clean and lovely. Be sure to bring everything you need to cook other than grill and utensils, if you choose to prepare your own meals.

The yurt is super cute, comfortable, and clean, with the bed being particularly comfortable. It was perfect for me and my daughter; we shared a bed for the night between ski practice days at Stevens Pass. Both the kitchen and bathroom were wonderfully appointed with everything we needed. Of note is the coffee setup - the coffee tasted great! They provided fresh grounds and a French press, which in my book is perfect. Please note the heating system is a bit loud at night as the heater cools off or heats up. That said, the yurt is warm, and the floors have radiant heat that felt great on our feet. Thank you for a great stay!

Super cute spot! Very private, quiet, and relaxing. Close to restaurants and shops. Had an issue with the heater hosts were very responsive and switched out same day. Look forward to staying again in the summer.
