We had a wonderful stay. It was just what we were looking for - well equipped, peaceful, off the beaten path, clean, comfortable, traditional country character with the right modern amenities.

Booking Sean's place was the greatest experience ever. Having previously worked for Airbnb and handling trip issues, I can guarantee that hosts like Sean are rare. His house matched the description and photos perfectly, with flexible check-in and a clean, organized space. What truly sets Sean apart is that he goes above and beyond in providing amazing accommodation. He left the fireplace on to ensure we would arrive to a warm home, knowing we would be coming in very late. We also found bottles of water, fruit, shampoos, soap—everything we needed to settle in quickly. Additionally, he gifted us a bottle of wine. Unfortunately, we were there only for a night and didn’t have time to enjoy it, but this is the first time I’ve ever encountered such a thoughtful host on Airbnb. The following morning, Sean came to see if there was anything else we needed. Well, Sean, we need more hosts like you at Airbnb! Thank you for having us at your place; we loved it!

Lovely house in beautiful, peaceful surroundings. Andrew was super helpful and very quick to respond to any questions. The house was so private and tranquil, really good space to get away from it all. Would highly recommend.

The farmhouse was absolutely lovely, it had everything we needed. The location was beautiful, super peaceful, on the clear nights you could see every star in the sky. Had a washer and dryer, and was perfect for our month long stay.

Andy’s cottage is very well furnished. You can find everything you need for short stays. Rooms, kitchen, bathroom, linens were clean. Heating works propperly. Only Wifi needs to be improved.

This house definitely has to be one of the best locations for a property, down a quiet country lane with a private pier onto Lough Ree, it was breathtaking! Judith was so lovely to deal with and quick at responding to messages. They left us clear directions for using all of the items in the house and we had a lovely time. Perfect house to bring doggos and kids. We had our kayaks and SUPS to make use of the lake and were able to watch the sunset from the pier, a perfect weekend. We'll definitely be saving this house for future trips! Thanks so much Chris & Judith!

Such a beautiful and peaceful place ❤️ we were blessed with the weather and enjoyed the beautiful private garden. The house was very cosy and well equipped, and Sara was very responsive, kind, and accommodating in helping us prepare for our stay. A great place to go and switch off and recharge!

Such a wholesome hideaway nestled in nature. Caroline’s retreat was a last minute booking for us as we were exploring Ireland by car but Caroline was incredibly adaptive to the booking. Our stay was nothing shy of beautiful and bliss, waking up to the sounds of farm life is SO cute and we felt so relaxed during this stay with everything we needed including some thoughtful chocolate treats for birthday boy! Would highly recommended

A lovely house in a lovely setting

A beautiful spot right on the Shannon with great river views. Everything and more you would need for your stay was provided, and the host was available for anything else you may require. Lovelely hosts, lovely property and lovely location.

The location is great it’s right beside restaurants and bars, everything is within walkable distance. The airbnb was exactly as described and Fiona was very helpful and responsive and she even provided a list of local things to do. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay at Lou’s place! She was an excellent host. Met us on arrival, gave me a lovely house tour and she gave us reccomendations for everything that was going on in the town. She checked in with us while we were there and was super responsive. The house itself is so central to everything and it’s so homely! We absolutely loved it! Would definitely stay again.

Our family stayed there with a friend for 2 nights, we had a great time in this log cabin and out in the garden. Great for kids and Niamh is very friendly and organized. The place is neat and cosy. Strongly recommend.

Patricia’s place was a wonderful stay! The house was clean, beautiful and had all the amenities needed for a comfortable visit. The beds were cozy, the kitchen was well-equipped, and everything felt thoughtfully arranged. Patricia was an excellent host—friendly, responsive, and always available to help with any questions. The location was also perfect!! It’s a highly recommended place for anyone looking for a peaceful escape from the city’s hustle and bustle—for us, it was perfect after coming from Dublin’s rush. I recently stayed with Adrian this past weekend and the photos don't do this place justice, it was nice relaxing and peaceful, the hot tub was amazing and if the weather was better would've made more use of the great outdoor facilities such as the BBQ and Firepit, this is a great spot just outside of Athlone and easily found did not disappoint worth ever penny in my opinion

Our stay at Lisa's property was nothing short of perfect! Lisa went out of her way to ensure everything was perfect upon our arrival and was on hand to help with anything we might have needed! The place is located beside two lakes and is surrounded by nature. this combined with the amenities on site made for an extremely relaxing and enjoyable couple of days. Will definitely be returning again 😊

We enjoyed our stay it was just what we needed after a busy weekend. The hot tub was 10/10 it was nice to get away and relax and just enjoy the peace and quietness. Beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were so unique I loved the cutouts on the wall. Would definitely go back when the weather picks up again !

Really loved my stay at the Shepherds hut with my dog Cara. Lisa is an amazing host who is very responsive and helpful. The hut itself is beautifully decorated, has everything you need and is a beautiful setting. Recommend!
