We enjoyed our stay in the spacious and well equipped house that our host Philip arranged for us (due to the power loss cause by a storm in the original house, Philip suggested a Carrick self catering house in Carrick-on-Shannon). Located right in the center, we had a private parking, pubs and restaurants at our doorstep and a view on the beautiful Carrick marina. Philip was very friendly and helped us feel super welcome. All in all, a nice cosy house in a perfect central location.

Great to have this accommodation in the town, Boyle is a great town, friendly people, interesting history, heritage, good food and friendly local pubs and Christine’s place is in a great location to explore it all, thanks

Had a lovely 1 night stay in Gráinne's place. cosy and all the amenities required. Lively location along the Shannon and a stones throw from Keenans bar and restaurant 👌

The property was beautifully decorated and had everything you would need for a home from home stay. The host was extremely helpful and communication was excellent. I would highly recommend!

We used google maps to route to Hanleys Marina but unfortunately did not receive the arrival instructions so we didn't know which buttons to press at the gate. Eventually the Marina gate opened and we found a fellow inside to call our host. Someone came over right away to help us access the property. Since I didn't have an Irish phone number, they lent us a phone to call and open the main gate as we came and went. This airbnb was spacious and modern. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen had everything that we needed to make a light meal, the laundry was efficient, and we loved watching the DVDs. It's within 10 minutes walk of groceries and restaurants. Overall, a fantastic stay and I'd definitely book again!

Lovely cottage with a really well kitted out kitchen, the fire was lit in the stove when we arrived and the rooms were lovely. Highly recommend.

Excellent stay! David was very helpful-meet us when we arrived, showed us around, even provided some basic needs like milk and bread. The place was very clean and comfortable. Washer/dryer was a challenge but David did warn us in advance to be proactive. It’s not far (20/30 min) from Roscommon tourist things to do and Carrick on Shannon. I would stay again for sure and would highly recommend!

my family and I had a lovely stay here. The house was clean and beautiful..... even better than the pictures! It was very private and peaceful. The host was excellent to work with and very friendly.

We’ve just spent 5 fantastic days staying with John & Maura. We are a family of 4, two young girls 6-3yo. The property was ideal for us, kitchen had everything we needed and a nice court yard to eat outside in the evening. There’s a games room that we spent time in each night and played basketball on the tennis court which we loved doing. We did loads in the time we were here, travelling by car is easy and accessible. (Gills pub locally, made us feel at home for a few Guinness and bet on the horses) Isle of Arran and bike hire is a must Salthill beach and swimming baths are great Corofin Gaa was a great recommendation by the owners if you want to watch some local sport Galway was lively, loads of live music and good food. (Magpie is worth the queue) And lastly mini the dog, my daughters wanted to bring her home….just rub her belly. Thanks for great trip, we’ll be back. Michael Heather Ada Nina

We asked several questions prior to our arrival and Tanya was very prompt and helpful. John was there to greet us (despite us arriving early), we had a lovely warm welcome and John ensured we knew how we could contact him if need be.

Lovely house in a beautiful location. As described and David very responsive and also messaged on the day we were due to check in to say if we wanted to check in early we could which was brilliant! Being able to use the kilronan castle pool was a massive perk as the kids loved it! The grounds were beautiful and we enjoyed the walks around the estate too.

Claire was very clear with her instructions and responsive. Hot tub was an highlight! Truly enjoyed our stay. Great place for families to spend time together. Will definitely recommend!

Darina is a fantastic host, always responsive and always helpful. The location is amazing, you can't get any better and the kitchen/living room are very spacious. We would highly recommend Darina's place for your stay in Carrick on Shannon.

What a find. this apartment is very central and you can walk everywhere in the town from it. the apartment is really big and well laid out. everything was spotless. there were lots of nice touches like lots of cold bottled water in the fridge, some snacks on the counter, and nice furnishings. we were a big group but it was a great size for the 7 of us. I highly recommend this place and I'd love to come back again.

I would recommend this apartment 1000 times over. It was located right behind a 24 hour garage which was ideal for us. The LED lights made the apartment so vibey and you didn’t even have to log into your own Netflix as the apartment had its own. The apartment was so comfy and cosy it felt like home.

Fiona was a very responsive host and very quick to answer any queries. The apartment was amazing with stunning views out over the water. Was so well equipped with everything you would need for a stay. Very peaceful location yet close to carrick on shannon. So much to do in the area too. highly recommend for a stay

Nous avons passé 3 excellents jours avec mon frère sur ce week-end (du samedi après-midi 15h au mardi matin 9h). L'endroit est vraiment joli, maison bien située avec un superbe bungalow , très propre et au goût de tous. Le système de douche est vraiment pratique, accès à la machine à laver (très bonne chose de sa part), de quoi cuisiner sereinement, terrasse jolie et spacieuse, et literie excellente. Bémol : aucun accès à la Wi-Fi, le code n'était pas valide sur nos téléphones,nous avons joué sur ma connexion personnelle :/ Sinon l'hôte nous laisse carte blanche et nous avons fait en sorte que le séjour soit le plus agréable possible, merci encore ! :)

Ciaran was a fantastic host, always contactable and left straightforward and easy instruction for to gain entry. The apartment is very comfortable and spacious. Was within walking distance of the town and close to lots of amenities. Would definitely stay again and would have no issue recommending to others

Ich war fast 2 Wochen bei Thomas & Joan und ihren beiden bezaubernden Töchtern. Das Zimmer war groß, sehr sauber und gemütlich und das Bett sehr komfortabel, die Bettwäsche unglaublich weich. Das Bad klein, aber sehr sauber. Tageslicht und Fenster. In der Küche stehen Mikrowelle, Kühlschrank, Wasserkocher und Toaster zur Verfügung, sowie 2 Kochplatten. Außerdem steht die Waschmaschine und ein Trockner zur Verfügung, diese Geräte werden von der Familie ebenfalls benutzt, aber immer nur während meiner Abwesenheit. Die Wohnräume zur Familie sind direkt nebenan, aber die Privatsphäre wird sehr geachtet. Es gibt einen separaten Eingang zur Wohnung. Ich habe diverse Ausflüge von hier aus unternommen und bin immer wieder gerne in meine ruhige Unterkunft zurückgefahren. Ein eigenes Auto ist essentiell in dieser ländlichen Gegend. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt bei dieser herzlichen Familie und komme gerne wieder.
