Loved the accomadation. House was in a quiet area. Good safe parking. We enjoy walking so found wooded and river side walks. Just relaxing inthe bedroom overlooking the Shannon with the sunshine was bliss. Would happily return. It was as in the middle of where we had relatives. We got the best of Family and time to chill. Thanks to Rusty and Ian who Sent us details and rang me quickly after I text a query.

Great location with view over the Shannon river. Lovely apartment with all the essentials provided. Very convenient to restaurants and pubs. Would highly recommend.

Stayed in Karen’s apartment with 3 friends over the weekend for the Carrick Camino (an extremely well organised and very friendly event - congrats to all involved). We were very happy to be able to relax in the apartment afterwards. The accommodation had everything we could possibly have needed. A beautiful location overlooking the Shannon within a short walk of all the local restaurants and bars. Karen was a lovely welcoming host. Highly recommend. Thank you ☺️

We had a fantastic stay in a great rural base allowing us explore this beautiful part of the world. We had great facilities and access to the lovely gardens. We could get around very easily and visit the area in all directions. many thanks for a wonderful time.

Aoife & Shirley were fantastic hosts. We had booked their property travelling with work. Last minute booking and accommodating us was no problem. Made our guys feel so welcome and well looked after. this is an excellent place for family gatherings. we were a group from 70yrs down to 4 yrs old. There is something for all ages. the cooking facilities are great for larger numbers. lots of space for people to facilitate enjoyment where there are large groups. dish washer was very useful to have. plenty of bathrooms and toilets. there are a number of local attractions. You need a car to get to them. However, there is lots to do within the surroundings of the house, should you choose. we enjoyed our time and would recommend this property

We had a lovely two week stay at Herons Lodge. The house was spacious and clean. Easy to find. We had two families with a total of 14 people and there was plenty of space for all of us to relax in between adventures. We had no issues that needed to be addressed, the house was in perfect condition.

Perfect house for a family getaway. House has a stunning view of the lake. Vincent was very helpful and made us feel right at home with some lovely touches such as fresh scones, cream, milk & wine. I would highly recommend for a quiet weekend away.

Gorgeous house and location! Host was lovely, very responsive. Renting the boat for the day was brilliant and so easy. Marc who helped with the boat was great and extremely helpful. Will definitely be back.

We had the best stay at this property, beautiful, peaceful surroundings and spectacular home. The property is very special and absolutely beautiful. Lovely pub 3 minute drive up the road that serves nice food. Serena was so helpful and proactive in contacting us with instructions and Mary was so nice and lovely. Absolutely will be returning to this property again.

Ich war fast 2 Wochen bei Thomas & Joan und ihren beiden bezaubernden Töchtern. Das Zimmer war groß, sehr sauber und gemütlich und das Bett sehr komfortabel, die Bettwäsche unglaublich weich. Das Bad klein, aber sehr sauber. Tageslicht und Fenster. In der Küche stehen Mikrowelle, Kühlschrank, Wasserkocher und Toaster zur Verfügung, sowie 2 Kochplatten. Außerdem steht die Waschmaschine und ein Trockner zur Verfügung, diese Geräte werden von der Familie ebenfalls benutzt, aber immer nur während meiner Abwesenheit. Die Wohnräume zur Familie sind direkt nebenan, aber die Privatsphäre wird sehr geachtet. Es gibt einen separaten Eingang zur Wohnung. Ich habe diverse Ausflüge von hier aus unternommen und bin immer wieder gerne in meine ruhige Unterkunft zurückgefahren. Ein eigenes Auto ist essentiell in dieser ländlichen Gegend. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt bei dieser herzlichen Familie und komme gerne wieder.

What a find. this apartment is very central and you can walk everywhere in the town from it. the apartment is really big and well laid out. everything was spotless. there were lots of nice touches like lots of cold bottled water in the fridge, some snacks on the counter, and nice furnishings. we were a big group but it was a great size for the 7 of us. I highly recommend this place and I'd love to come back again.

We had a great stay at Thomas’ place. Very close to the centre of the town and it was comfortable and cozy. Thomas was great host and would recommend this place to anyone visiting Carrick.

We were in Knockvicar to research our family roots so Anne's place was perfect because we could access all the local graveyards/Leitrim Heritage Centre, Ballinamore, Drumshabo music festival etc. Anne was super-helpful but also respected our privacy. She was there if needed. Loved her spacious kitchen, comfortable beds, extras left in the fridge for us on a very late arrival from Cork, esp milk and tea. Plenty of supplies in the bathroom and the place was spotless. We had two very peaceful/quiet nights of sleep and really enjoyed our stay in Knockvicar. Thank u Anne

Absolutely beautiful apartment, had everything we could think of and more - we felt very at home straight away. Incredible views of the Lough. Location was close to everything we needed - local shop, cinema, lovely walks, attractions etc but also far enough away to feel secluded and be incredibly peaceful. Fiona was excellent- very friendly, responsive and recommended some lovely activities for us to do.
