We truly enjoyed our time here- This place is so special, and I’m sure that’s because of all the love and care the owners have poured into it. You can feel the warmth and positive energy in every corner of the house.

Very peaceful, especially when sitting on the deck listening to the water. Lots of restaurants in walking distance and beautiful neighborhood to walk around. I would go back.

We were delightfully pleased with our stay here. The house was clean and comfortably fit our 3 adults and 2 kids. We were happy with the “extras” like having our linens and towels cleaned and wrapped in plastic, shampoo/conditioner, kitchen stocked with cookware, and the decor. The best part was the view and proximity to the water. The pictures do not do the sunset justice. We will definitely come back.

We had a fantastic stay at Evan’s place. The cottage is beautiful and we really appreciated the lovely touches (fresh eggs, butter, dog biscuits). The property is beautiful and we enjoyed the calm waters of the bay and watching the ospreys. Highly recommend for a lovely and relaxing get away!

We had a lovely stay at Patrick’s place! It had everything we needed for a long weekend on the shore. A very comfortable home. Patrick was extremely responsive and helpful, with easy check in and check out. The kitchen was particularly lovely and well appointed! The house number is a little small so keep an eye out. And the mosquitos were fierce - don’t forget bug spray! Thanks, Patrick!

We had 3 great night stay. Toby and Kim are super kind, they provided a lot of info. before we arrived, and responded very fast. The cattage is very nice, not very modern, but lovely, and the environment is quite and cozy.

The experience was once in a lifetime and was something that I would look forward to doing again. It was close to DC Baltimore and other metropolitan area.

We just had another wonderful stay at the Cozy Cottage in North Beach. The house is just lovely and quite comfortable. Our dog Frankie certainly felt as relaxed as we did. The view from the large front window is just great. The Chesapeake Bay, and all the dog walkers on the boardwalk are just amazing. Jerome and Carrie are always friendly, responsive and accomodating. Last, but not least, we can't wait to go back.

We loved our stay at Molly's air B &B. there were lots of toys to use on the river. The water views from the house were fantastic. The house was clean and comfortable. We loved taking a dip in the pool. Great communication with the host.

Kristin's home was the perfect setting for a peaceful family Christmas! It was a great size for my family (11 adults and 2 kids) to stay comfortably. The kitchen is set up nicely for large groups with 2 ovens, 2 dishwashers and 2 fridges. We spent most of our time relaxing in the large dining and sitting areas as well as enjoying bird watching from the backyard (bald eagles!). Kristin is extremely responsive -- even immediately responding to and helping to fix a plumbing issue (on Christmas Eve!). Would highly recommend this place for your next summer or winter getaway!

The area and view are beautiful and the home's decor is welcoming. The home was very comfortable for our family group and had a VERY well-stocked kitchen. The master bed was VERY comfortable as were the rest of the beds. My husband and I slept well. We all felt at home. MJ was very responsive when I had questions and communicated about the property in clear, concise language. The host provided many outdoor recreation opportunities, which included paddleboards, kayaks, and life jackets. There was a nice sized pool but we were visiting out of season so we did not use it. The exercise room downstairs has a lot of equipment. We all enjoyed our time together. Our family is asking to come back again next year. Thanks for a great stay!

Absolutely fabulous experience! We stayed during a very low key time (Christmas+) but were able to find lots of fun things to do (shopping in St Michael’s [don’t miss The Blue Heron for the best caffeine], driving tour of Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge, etc.). We got incredible photos during sunrise/sunset, safely walked-ran on the neighborhood roads, enjoyed the fire pit, and thoroughly rested and relaxed. So grateful we chose Jon’s home for 5 days/4 nights of R&R ❤️

Sandy Feet Retreat in Colonial Beach was a great place to take my daughter and the grandkids for a 3 day Spring Break holiday. The condo was beautifully furnished and very well located on the boardwalk. My family loved having access to the beach right outside the condo and spent many hours collecting shells and sea glass. Fishing from the pier was a thrill for my grandson. I enjoyed peaceful mornings on the balcony and evening time there listening to the waves each day. Thank you Brittany for everything you do to assure a lovely stay for your guests.

Overall it was great stay. Laura was ready to accommodate my group of 22 ppl and had ample space. It was quiet and private place and we enjoyed the weather a lot. Clean place

We had a great weekend a gain. Enjoying Christmas in St Michaels. Your home is beautiful. We ate at Ava’s, Limoncello, Carpenters and Talbots. Shopped on Sunday. Highly recommend the house tour. She you again soon.🥰

Stayed here to see a few friends who live in the Ebb Tide area. The house was clean, spacious and well equipped. We were only two people but with the sun room it was clear to see there are a few options for people to spread out and not feel on top of each other. This is a nice peaceful area about 15 minutes away from downtown colonial beach and a great location for a getaway. I would stay here away without hesitation.

Second time staying here and you can’t beat the location. If you love being on the water and are looking for a nice escape, this is your place. Colin is a great host too. Highly recommend to everyone !

Thank you to John for a lovely stay at The River House! We enjoyed a gorgeous sunny sunset happy hour on the tiki bar dock and moody views of fog and mist rolling over the water all in one weekend. John’s place is clean, comfortable, and cozy. We had everything we could possibly need for a weekend of quiet, beauty, and relaxation. Can’t wait to come back!

Excellent getaway home for your stay. I was there with my family who are very skeptical about cleanliness and this was met. Great accommodation for family. I certainly recommend this house. We will certainly stay there again. The cost for the 2 nights was definitely great also. Thank to the owners.

This house was perfect for our family—wonderful location, big and beautiful outdoor space, all of the amenities our family needed during our stay. Steve is a wonderful host—kind, excellent communicator, and highly responsive. Ten out of ten experience!

We loved this snug, little spot on the water. Watching the sunrise over the water made for enjoyable mornings. It had a full kitchen that made cooking our meals very easy. Two seating areas in the living area gave us room to spread out. Fast wifi....I even stayed online while I was down by the water. I wasn't a huge fan of the overly curious swans, but I did find some really nice pieces of sea glass down by the water. The heat in this house was great.

Our family traveled from South Carolina for a funeral in LaPlata MD (a short drive away from this home). Jane's property was just what we needed to accommodate our family of 6. The house was clean, comfortable and well equip with everything that was needed. The ping pong table in the garage provided much needed entertainment when we had down time. The views were absolutely beautiful and we can not wait to come back. While there we enjoyed crabs at Captain John's crab house a couple of miles away. I would totally recommend this home to anyone that is traveling for business, leisure or just a peaceful, quiet getaway. Thanks Jane for your hospitality and sharing your beautiful home with us.
