We loved staying at the Cottage. It was cozy, clean, well stocked and the perfect location relative to everything we wanted to do. Herb & Patrick were communicative and helpful when we had a question. Great Stay!

Our group of five women throughly enjoyed our stay at Ashley and Bobby’s cottage. It was cozy and inviting with well appointed fixtures and comfortable furniture. We all slept well, and enjoyed lounging in the living room or the thoughtfully placed Adirondack chairs on the front porch. While booking, we were looking for a place to relax and recharge and Ashley and Bobby’s place definitely delivered. It’s incredibly close to a public access beach, where we enjoyed a spring sunset. We were able to take in the full moon in the very clean hot tub in the spacious backyard and round out our evening with a fire. When we had a question , Ashley and Bobby were both incredibly responsive and attentive, even suggesting a couple of things for us to do around town. If you’re looking for a cozy, relaxing get away that is still close to town, this is the place to rent. We will definitely be back!

Three friends and I stayed here for a writing retreat. We chose this space because it has ample bedrooms and beds (5 - no bunking situations), and 3 full bathrooms. We also appreciated the seating area conducive for our writing. The hot tub was an amazing addition, even in the cold of the winter. This house also came fully loaded with all the amenities in the kitchen needed to keep us indoors and productive. Electric kettles, ample plating, silverware, basic seasonings, extra towel, washcloths - those extra touches mattered! So thankful to our amazing hosts! I can only imagine how great this spot is in the summer. I hope it’s as affordable in the summer as it was for us this winter!

Jen was so sweet, messaged back right away and gave us a list of things to do while we were there on a mini vacation visiting family. Hot tub and deck so clean, amazing and private Thank you and Happy holidays.

My fiancé and I visited Donna’s place over a summer weekend, and we had the most amazing time. Donna’s house is so beautiful and welcoming - we felt at home. Her place was clean and is filled with the most thoughtful decor. It has everything anyone needs for a peaceful, relaxing stay. She was responsive right from the day of booking to our final day and even stopped by to meet us in person. We look forward to staying at her house again soon!

We had a wonderful stay at Melinda’s place! We take an annual trip to Union Pier with two other couples and was perfect. It was spacious, had lots of great amenities, and the four seasons porch was fantastic. We will definitely stay here again!

This was our 7th or 8th time we've stayed at Hannah's place and as usual we loved it. Extremely clean, great secluded location and excellent host. We'll be back next year it's like our second home.

We had a lovely stay at NWL. It was just the holiday break we needed! Cozy living quarters, full kitchen, a pasture full of beautiful llamas and a couple very sweet doggos. Can't wait to come stay again! Highly recommend!

I've been staying at here every summer for six years now. We love the location, the casual lowkey ambiance, the proximity to the beach and gorgeous sunsets and the comfort of the cottages. The hosts are so easy and flexible, we couldn't imagine a summer without a visit to Elephant Walk!

We really enjoyed our time here. We stayed as a family of four and our dog. The house is very welcoming, clean, and comfortable. Our kids loved all the board games, and the backyard was fun for the kids and the dog, too. The living room is spacious and makes you feel right at home. This was our third Airbnb in New Buffalo, and it’s definitely our favorite! Colton and Abbey have clearly put a lot of thought and effort into making sure the house has everything you need. They are responsive and friendly hosts. We would stay here again!

I have been renting Airbnb for years and hands down John’s house was the best house I have ever stayed at. The beds were incredible ( please tell me where you got your pillows and bedding). There was lovely screened porch and great room. Every amenity was available. It was a very special weekend and we had a front row view of many deer in the area. Thank you for being such a great host. We will be back !

We loved this place! Even though it’s probably the “off season”, everything was perfect! Very easy, short walk down to the beach. We will be back for a longer stay!

We had a wonderful family vacation here! We were looking for time to relax and just be together. We loved playing games around the big table and relaxing by the fireplace. We also love the area and our close proximity to walking trails, the beach, and coffeeshops.

Yes and yes!! We loved our stay at Anna’s place. From the treehouse to the glass windows to the ease of use - this was a great spot for our family of 5 Fall getaway. My 7 year old just kept saying Can it get any better?! We loved it..:.Thank you!

Nick and Michael were incredibly responsive and friendly and offered to help us find dog friendly spots, gave us a list of places and suggestions. The place was super cozy, clean and pleasant. The yard is awesome, totally fenced in. Despite the rain, we still had a good time and dogs had a lot of fun in the yard!

This place was perfectly set up for a family gathering. The lower level head had an extremely comfortable couch that folded out to accommodate many people. There was a fun kids play area down there as well. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked with all sorts of cooking supplies. The bathrooms were clean and had plenty of amenities. Highly recommended!

Great host and great place to stay while visiting the area!

Stayed for a long weekend and the place was just what we needed. The location has plenty of privacy but is very close to the lake, Union Pier, Three Oaks and New Buffalo which provided plenty of things to do. Nature preserve within a 5 min walk of the house was a nice surprise. The house was well stocked with essentials, nicely decorated and up to date. I would definitely stay here again.

Heather’s place is super cute and cozy, with comfortable beds and a huge fenced yard. The stay was overall a great value, though the kitchen could have been better stocked (no microwave, tea kettle, or glassware), and there’s no access to the yard from the house, also no path through the grass to the gates. Those issues aside, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this listing to others!

I recently stayed at this charming lake cottage in New Buffalo, MI, and it was the perfect retreat! Nestled in a peaceful, private wooded setting, the location is ideal—just a short walk to downtown with restaurants, boutiques, and ice cream shops, and only a 5-minute drive to Four Winds Casino. The cottage itself is cozy and well-equipped, with a warm cabin feel, fully stocked kitchen, and super comfy Helix mattresses. The front porch and back deck are great for enjoying the tranquil surroundings. The open living area is perfect for family and friends to gather, and the Smart TV with Roku was a nice touch. Nearby, you’ll find wineries, breweries, trails, farmers markets, and beautiful beaches like Warren Dunes. Whether it’s a family trip, girl’s weekend, or romantic getaway, this place is a true gem. Can’t wait to return!
