Beautifully decorated barn conversion. The bed was super comfy with superb linen & pillows. I would have liked a bedside lamp on both side of the bed for reading purposes. The water pressure in the shower was divine! Reinet was a fabulous host - completely unobtrusive but extremely efficient in service. I loved the location of the barn being on the outskirts of the town but unfortunately the loud music from the settlement did take away from the tranquility of sitting out at the fire pit at night, however the fan in the bedroom loft luckily drowned out the music through the night. This is out of anyone's control. Overall, a wonderful place to spend a few nights.

Wonderful hosts who were so accommodating of a late check in. Fun, clean space reflective of the charm of a small interesting town that has so much to offer. Was way to short and definitely will be returning for a longer stay to enjoy and explore more.

We had an incredible stay—exactly what we were looking for! This farm stay in the Karoo offered an authentic experience, allowing us to roam freely and enjoy the variety of animals, charming buildings, and stunning landscapes. Evenings were magical as we gathered around a fire under a sky full of stars. It was the perfect opportunity for our group of four adults and two small children to bond and unwind for six memorable nights. Despite the heat, the rooms were equipped with fans, and the swimming pool and its surrounding area provided a refreshing escape. The hosts were exceptionally friendly, hospitable, and always ready to assist, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We loved every moment and can’t wait to return. Highly recommended!

There were only 3 of us but the cottage caters for 6. The area is stunning, it had snowed and Hester kept me informed as to the state of the roads due to the snow. The cottage was cosy, had a wood fire and electric blankets so perfect.

A gem in the Karoo!! Thank you Danie for sharing your beautiful space. Quiet, peaceful, clean and neat rooms. Great host and thank you for cold slushie in the heat.

The pictures doesn’t do the place justice the view, the garden you need to see for yourself. Felt right at home with the old farm house feel. I would choose this place every time. Thank you for welcoming family with such warmth.

I enjoyed my one night stay! The room was spacious and comfortable with a private bathroom. Miriam is an absolute gem. Friendly and knowledgeable and very helpful. I highly recommend.
