Beautiful cottage with amazing views. Hot tub was fab. Lovely wood burning stove lit for us arriving. Everything was spotlessly clean.

It was absolutely perfect It’s a 10 min drive to the mountains & 5 mons into the shops of Kilkeel, the positioning couldn’t be better. Wonderfully quiet, set in stunning landscape The cottage had all the amenities you’d need and more with Mary Jo really responsive to any questions We are both looking forward to going back in the very near future

We had a great 2 night stay at Tara’s Hill Cottage - the views of the Mournes are amazing, the place was spotless and cosy, bed was so comfortable and check-in was simple. This was my first time using Airbnb so wasn’t too sure what to expect but it was a great experience. Everything looked exactly like the photos 🙂 and Newcastle Main Street is only a short drive away.

This cottage is a hidden gem! The location is peaceful and secluded with a beautiful view, the cottage itself was pristine and so inviting, Colleen had thought of everything, down to some milk to make a cuppa in the morning! The hot tub was the highlight, having it available to you whenever you fancied a dip! We stayed for two nights but could have happily stayed much longer. If you’re looking for a romantic couples getaway, or time to recharge, this is absolutely the spot

Mike's place was just beautiful and peaceful. Me and my boyfriend had an amazing time and enjoyed the projector for movies, the hottub all day and especially at night watching the stars. The beautiful little kitchen made us feel like we were just at home. Mike himself was and amazing cosy and so helpful. We will definitely be back. Thank you

Just had the most wonderful weekend for my partner’s birthday at this beautiful cottage! It was so cosy & had everything we needed and more. Could’ve stayed forever lol! The kitchen & living space were gorgeous, as were the bathroom & bedroom; had the best night’s sleep!! The hot tub was such a treat, with very clear instructions given, and a bottle of Prosecco to go alongside. Perfect location close to the mournes, especially the silent valley, Ott carpark for Slieve Doan etc, and the Loughshannagh route too. Stephanie & Michael were very quick to respond & so helpful & friendly! Highly recommend staying here & would 100% come back!

Chris and Hannah were lovely hosts and Chris was there to welcome us both. It was Mark's birthday and they'd went the extra mile to put birthday banners up. Chris explained how everything worked before leaving us to it. The Gate House was so relaxing and peaceful and having the hot tub was a great bonus to this beautiful place. Beautiful location in easy driving reach of moutins and sea. people we met were exceptionally friendly. the house was clean very tidy and warm. The owner had left fresh eggs milk and other essentials. The atmosphere was peaceful and welcoming. we had a great stay.

Lovely, relaxing place to stay. Quiet and out of the way but only a short drive to shops etc. Nice and clean with plenty of amenities. Warm, comfortable home with great shower and very comfortable bedding. Good cooking facilities with plenty of utensils. Very fast WiFi and large tv. Well worth the money.

Steen’s cottage was immaculate, cosy and tastefully renovated. We had a very enjoyable and peaceful time and the welcome pack was a thoughtful addition. There were lots of lovely walks nearby and a beautiful outlook. Highly recommended.

Great place in particular the lounge view was beautiful ! We only stayed the night but it was worth the stay, a little out of the way but worth it for how peaceful it was, What a fantastic house!

what a find, absolutely stunning cottage in an excellent peaceful location with the resident donkeys lol...what a gem of a place and so so peaceful. Paula is a genuine host who cares passionately about her cottage and her guests, and is very genuine when dealing with her guests.. Highly highly recommended and we will defs be back....thank you Paula and keep up the good work x

Stayed for 2 nights, place was clean and tidy, beds are soooo comfortable which is always the main focus of my stays! Beautiful rural location but very close to everything, will definetly return! thankyou

Kevin’s place was perfect for getting to various places in and around Armagh. His cottage is perfectly equipped with everything you would need. Perfect for short or long stays. We had 3 people and Kevin’s cottage suited us perfectly and loved that there were 2 fully equipped washrooms. Kevin was a fantastic host. Very responsive and proactively asking if you have everything you need. Loved our stay at Kevin’s cottage. Would definitely stay there again.

A wonderful retreat for a young couple’s first weekend away, the sauna, cold bath, stained glass window and projector were lovely touches that really added to the atmosphere. Kathy was kind and approachable and the place was in great condition. It is extremely well situated, very close to great hiking routes including the granite trail we did, the beach, and local restaurants (we found O’Hares a fabulous spot for dinner and great pints of Guinness). While some additional cutlery, cooking pots, scissors, tongs etc would be useful in future, with the hot water on the bath not currently working- overall this was a minor point amid a fantastic experience that served as a real highlight for our relationship to date- We would love to return for our anniversary in future. Thank you for so much for having us and we look forward to returning!

Our stay at Hawthorn Cottage was absolutely fantastic! The apartment itself exceeded our expectations: clean, beautifully decorated, and fully equipped. The host was incredibly welcoming, responded quickly to messages, and took care of every detail, such as local treats to welcome us — a very thoughtful touch. The location is simply magical — close to the sea, with breathtaking ocean views and great access to local attractions. This place has a unique atmosphere that allows you to fully relax and soak up the Irish charm. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for peace, nature, and a warm, inviting atmosphere.
