We absolutely loved our stay at Sammy’s place. The flat was easy to find with the descriptions/directions given prior. The host was very quick at responding when I queried parking (which was no issue at all). It was all exactly as described with a nice homely feel. The bedding felt luxurious, the towels were soft, the sofas super comfy and there was even a bottle of wine and milk in the fridge. The location was superb, so close to the centre of Hexham, yet very quiet. Wouldn’t hesitate to go back or recommend to others. Thank you ☺️

This was a fabulous stay. Did all it said on search. bedroom was roomy and bed comfy bathroom was small but everything placed to maximise space. shower easy to use and refreshing. kitchen had everything and more. only thing missing was a freezer and that I got from search. sofa in lounge comfy. tv . building heats up within 15 mins once thermostat in bedroom was put in play. as weather was nice , pulled 2 chairs out of outhouse and sat in patio area. neighbours were chatty. recommended

I cannot state enough how friendly and accommodating Yvonne was! Great communication and amazing flat. Everything was spotlessly clean and so warm and comfortable, we felt right at home! Will definitely be returning to stay with these hosts! Thankyou so much ❤️

Fabulous stay to see Durham and the surrounding are. We had a 6 month old baby with 4 adults and the place was brilliant for soundproofing, but enough WiFi for the monitor and Senna was happy to help in any way. Would recommend and come back again! Thank you.

We had a lovely 2 night stay at The Lookout for my mum’s birthday weekend away. Perfect location for exploring Alnwick & the surrounding area. The apartment is such a great size - super modern, very comfortable beds with the added bonus of the lookout area, which had amazing views!

We had a wonderful stay in Gary's house. It is a quiet, peaceful neighborhood with just a few minutes by foot to reach the sea. The modern interior of the house has all the comfort you need and Gary went above and beyond to make it childproof and adjust to our needs. We would come back any time. Thank you :-)

Lovely cottage in beautiful surroundings. Mel checked in with us a few times and we had no issues during our stay. We visited Kielder Forest which is well worth a visit . Would highly recommend.

Great house in a fab location. It’s a big house that was super comfortable. The back garden was a plus for the dog to run round in. Friendly neighbours too. It was just what we needed.

We were staying up there for my Sons wedding , then we stayed on a little over Christmas to see the children . The Ubers are amazing and I just downloaded the app ‘Uber eats ‘ as well and they can do a shop for you from the Coop ,Sainsbury’s and Tesco and more . Uber travel was very good and reasonable . Area of house is great for Newcastle , Durham or Bernard castle area . Rooms are a good size , beds comfortable. Walking for elderly parents was nice and they increased their fitness immensely , as the fresh air has helped them along with the trips to the countryside which is all around . Very Clean throughout . Comfy sofa and large chair. Great for a family . Garden is enclosed and very safe . Rachel has been a very kind host , and fast to respond to any querys , I would recommend the area and the home , the locals are friendly and there’s a Tesco express which has a bit of everything , in walking distance . Warm and welcoming, banister on stairs plenty of cupboards . A*

We enjoyed our stay in this property, it was decorated to a high standard and had a good amount of space for our needs. It had almost all the facilities we needed to celebrate Christmas (we needed to buy a few more trays for the oven but that was about it). One thing to be aware of that we missed when booking is that the bathroom is downstairs at the back of the house, behind the kitchen, which was a bit of a surprise as we didn't remember seeing that noted before booking, however didn't cause us too many issues during the visit. The only other thing to note is there were a few minor maintenance issues (missing/dead light bulbs for example) that should be fixed, however again this didn't cause any problems during the stay, just something that could be improved to fully bring out the potential of the space.

Cosy and ingenious use of space. Loved the thoughtful decor and the fabulous selection of books. Within easy walking distance of shops and the lovely Milan restaurant.

Everything about our stay was wonderful! Pete is a really kind, flexible and friendly host and the apartment is just amazing, so well equipped, spacious, clean and in the most beautiful setting! I couldn't recommend it more highly and look forward to returning to make more happy memories :)

We loved our stay here. As others have said, it really has everything you need and is spotless, comfortable, warm and the bed is just lovely! Plenty of soft towels too. We felt right at home here immediately. Linda really has thought of everything to make it perfect. A basket of special treats was much appreciated and so kind. It really is in a perfect spot in Alnwick, it’s so easy to walk to everything. We loved the proper pub, The Tanners Arms, at the end of the street. Lots of places to choose from to eat if you have the energy after a day’s sightseeing! Super cafe in the incredible Barter Books nearby. Great central spot for us to visit Cragside, Holy Island and Bamburgh Castle. Stunning beaches, beautiful views and incredibly friendly people wherever we went. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Linda’s and would totally recommend it to anybody wanting to visit this beautiful area.

We had a great and relaxing 3 days in Alnwick. A great location to explore both the town and beautiful surrounding area. Fabulous accommodation and close to amenities. Barry was a great host. Would definitely recommend 👍

Lovely place to stay. Very clean and tidy. Nice area and very quiet, garden and hot tub were very private. Has everything and more that we needed. Paid for decorations for birthday party and it was above expectations. Left a little treat for the dog too which was lovely. Would 100% recommend, and would go again.

The accommodation is stunning, immaculate and totally as described. our hosts couldn't have been more helpful, they were quick to respond to our queries, were flexible to requests and very welcoming. When we come back to Durham, our first place to look at will be this gem of a property. What a great find

Karen is good to deal with, communications were excellent, and she picked us up from the train station which was handy. The flat is great, more spacious and more natural light than I had expected. Location is good, 2 minutes walk from the Baltic, close to the Glasshouse (both of which are worth a visit) and the Millenium Bridge across to the Quayside at Newcastle. There's a bus stop right outside the apartment block, and the Metro is only quarter of an hour away near the very large Tesco. Restaurants - Lui's was excellent; Babucho very good, as was Ravel Indian; Pitcher and Piano has great views by the Tyne, but was very noisy Friday and Saturday nights. The Hooch was a great place for a drink with nice music; Station East was very quirky. We went to Laing art gallery (good cafe too) which was very good, and the Cathedral. If you're adventurous, a 45 minute walk to Saltwell Park (buses are available) was worthwhile as the weather was great.
