Really enjoyed our weekend away, great communication from the start. Quite and quirky cottage, so peaceful even though it's on a road, this wasn't a problem for us.. The hot tub was amazing.. A great extra to the weekend...☺️☺️

There aren't enough superlatives to describe The Granary. It's not just utterly beautiful, it's fully equipped with everything you need for your stay. Great walks around the grounds, loved the table tennis table and the pool/hot tub were a great way to chill. The sky was so clear, every night, we sat out star gazing, trully wonderful. Thanks to Jess for all the help and recommendations etc. And to Ben, for letting us back in when I locked us out 🫣 HIGHLY recommend.

What a hidden gem of a place! We feel so lucky to have found Stable Oak Cottages and to have spent New Year there with our family celebrating our sons 18th. The place was gorgeous and the hot tub such a treat! The alpacas were great entertainment and the luxurious little touches from bath robes and sliders, to home baked bread and muffins were just wonderful. Highly recommend.

Great house in a great location near the beach. Lovely garden and hot tub was an added bonus. Ella was a great host and very responsive.

We had an amazing break at Peter & Karen’s place. The cabin is perfect, we were so comfortable! Peter is brilliant with communication, really helpful and friendly. Everything is just like in the pictures. The place is in a great state of repair, everything works perfectly. In the kitchen there’s a fridge, a dishwasher and a full electric hob with oven. The shower is great, loved the rainfall shower. The linen all smelled gorgeous and the bed was so big and comfortable, we had the best sleep. The pillows and duvet were perfect, so comfy! The wood burner was brilliant and gave such a lovely setting! I loved sitting on our patio surrounded by the gorgeous countryside, soaking us the sun! The jacuzzi was amazing, and we really enjoyed the swimming pool too. We had a thoroughly relaxing time, great walks, really enjoyed every second of our much needed break! We would love to come back again!

We had a lovely weekend at the Piggery celebrating our engagement! It was our first time using a wood-fired hot tub and we found it very refreshing. We'd definitely recommend walking to the Cider Tap and Bolney Wine Estate - both dog friendly! Some of the kitchen utensils could do with replacing, the tin opener didn't work well and most of the knives were quite blunt, but apart from that we had a lovely time!

Stunning gardens and the pool was amazing. The accommodation was 10/10 from the huge bath to the 4K TVs, huge comfortable sofa and every inch was decorated to a high standard. Had everything we needed and felt homely and relaxing but luxurious at the same time. Best stocked kitchen we've ever stayed in. Everything was wonderful. No downside and no complaints.

Was perfect for what we needed. Highly likely we will be going back. Next time I'm taking my telescope! Great views!

We loved our stay at the cottage! We were 7 people total and found the cottage to be big enough for us all. Really loved the kitchen area and back patio area for gathering, playing cards and making dinner. And the fireplaces made the kitchen and living room so cosy for movie nights. We walked into Rye from the cottage and also took taxis over to Camber Sands. It's such a peaceful and beautiful location, we loved watching the sheep in the pasture behind the house. We would definitely stay here again!

We hadden 4 fantastische dagen in het huisje van Caroline. De kinderen waren heel gelukkig met de chocolaatjes en zelf was ik helemaal in de wolken met alle prachtige bloemen die werkelijk overal in het huis stonden! De locatie was zalig rustig en een goeie uitvalsbasis voor een aantal daguitstappen. We sliepen als roosjes in de comfortabele bedden en werden elke ochtend wakker met het gefluit van de vogeltjes. Het aanwezige ontbijt was de kers op de taart want zo konden we rustig aankomen zonder al direct te denken aan de volgende ochtend. We raden een verblijf dan ook zeker aan! 😊

The cottage was perfect. Comfy bed, great wood burner, lots of interesting books to browse and bird feeders near the window so you could breakfast with the blue tits. Thank you Lynda for sharing your home. We loved it!

Just home from a fantastic couple of days, insisting her. The cottage was perfect for us, wonderfully decorated and fully equipped for all our needs. Really peaceful and homely. On arrival gifts was a lovely touch as well as fresh flowers displayed. Thoroughly recommend staying here. The bonus was the pub was staggering distance with a great restaurant. Jackie was very helpful throughout.

We would like to say a big thank you. We had a fantastic weekend stay at this property. The garden was 100% safe for our dog and we found it nice and quiet, surrounded by nature and orchards. Mark had left lots of leaflets showing what's going on in the area, and was very kind to recommend places to visit and eat/drink. The accommodation was designed and decorated with alot of thought and attention to detail, to establish a very comfortable stay. We will certainly be visiting again.

Dani's place is a lovely detached property in a development near the beach. It was peaceful and very nicely decorated. The place was well equipped although kitchen roll would have been useful and we aren't that keen on UHT milk! Other than that we couldn't fault it. We would definitely go back. The food at The Owl was excellent and easy walking distance away. If you want to walk to the beach don't try section D like we did - cross the car park to the right hand corner, by the pay machine, and access via the much easier section C.

Beautiful place to stay! We loved staying in dot cottage. It’s a gorgeous, cosy place to spend a weekend. Catherine was a great host and provided lots of recommendations for the local area. The cottage itself was perfect for us with everyone we could have needed. It’s in a great location in Rye, with everything within walking distance. Would definitely visit again

Excellent holiday cottage set in idyllic surroundings, each facillity Within the cottage were as described and we felt imeediately comfortable! Local restaurants were excellent so much so we eat out all week, so very well satisfied all round My contact at beachy head estate office (evie) was excellent in Handling our enquiries before and during our stwy, so Evie take a bow for a job well done

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in David’s incredible property! David was incredibly responsive & helpful, & the property was perfect. We felt right at home & cannot wait to come back!

Absolutely fantastic stay. Marion was incredibly accommodating & warmly welcomed us on our arrival . The cottage was perfectly positioned and Marion had gone out of her way to make us feel at home- especially with our toddler . Plenty of toys and baby equipment which was greatly appreciated. We loved the gorgeous courtyard and had a lovely stroll to the nearby cafe which was a great way to spend a morning with playground and great coffee! A wonderful trip and one we would love to come back to! Thank you

Excellent accommodation. Warm and very comfortable - although we were too warm on arrival, we were grateful for the heating when the temperature dropped! Excellent facilities. We chose this property as we wanted to attend a couple of events nearby but there is also lots to do - visit Brighton, walk along the coast & National Trust properties. Jane’s directions were very helpful and she ensured we were settled and happy with everything. Thanks for your hospitality - we will return!

Christine was very helpful and gave us clear instructions on how to find the place. The house was clean and had lots of lovely touches like milk, bread and cereal available to use. Would definitely use again ☺️

I stayed at Andrew's place for a week with my husband and 3 year old son and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The open kitchen/lounge area works well with young children. The wood burner had a sturdy safety gate and all plug sockets had protective covers. It's well placed for visiting the local area. Plenty of national trust properties nearby and we drove the Heart of Kent route one day. Port Lympe zoo is also brilliant. Unfortunately, our son became ill during our stay so we had to cut our stay short by a couple of days. Despite that, my son hasn't stopped talking about our stay at Long Stable and will be booking a return stay in the near future. Marie, Oli and Alfie.

The cottage was a real home from home. Really important for us as we had to stay for two months whilst work was being done on our house. It was warm (essential in January and February), cosy, comfortable and extremely well equipped. John and Jane were thoughtful and helpful. After a very stressful few months we were able to relax and enjoy our extended holiday.

The house is just like in the photos. It's beautiful. It's spectacular. All the details have been taken care of. It exudes tranquillity. Everything is impeccable. It's a pleasure to listen to the sound of the birds. Totally recommended for people who want a place to relax. Andy and Georgina were incredible hosts. They are always willing to help and give advice. They even gave us a bottle of apple juice from their own apple trees. It was delicious. We will definitely be back! Thank you very much!
