Wonderful view. A regenerative escape. The hot tub and outdoor fire pit were a great way to relax and watch the swans drift by. The one note: physical challenges would make access to the beach and second floor difficult.

I had the best stay ever! This charming cottage exceeded all my expectations. It's absolutely stunning, with beautiful decor and a cozy ambiance that makes you feel right at home. The cottage is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, from a well-stocked kitchen to plush linens and towels. The location is wonderfully peaceful, surrounded by nature, which adds to the relaxing atmosphere. Plus, the hot tub was the perfect touch—soaking in it after a day of exploring was an absolute delight! Overall, it was a perfect getaway.

Great space to relax and unwind. Hot tub and kayaks were excellent ways to utilize the relaxing nature of the property. Host was very responsive and assisted us in ensuring our stay was as we expected.

The coach house is a stunning, peaceful retreat from the every day. Not only does it look like a space straight out of Architectural Digest, but it feels warm and inviting, private and peaceful. (So very insta-worthy in its decor and aesthetic.) Kieran and Tara (and their sweet pups 🐾) were wonderful hosts. Quick to respond and very helpful. The location is perfect as it’s only a few minutes from Cobourg and St. Anne’s spa.

The rental place is clean and organized. Mustafa is quick to respond. Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place in the area.

We had a great weekend at The Cove! We enjoyed the fire pit, hot tub and the views. We played board games from home & tried some new ones in the selection at the cottage. It was spacious & private, which was exactly what we were looking for.

We had an amazing time at this charming cottage over the long weekend for Family Day! From the cozy, well-equipped space to the stunning natural surroundings, everything exceeded our expectations. The cottage was clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities we needed, including a fully stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. We loved spending time outdoors by the lake and going into the hottub even when there is a snow storm outside. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, making our stay even more enjoyable. It was the perfect family getaway, and we can't wait to return!

Kathryn and Lora's place was beyond our expectations. Everything was as described in the listing and so much more. I felt like if you could name it, they had it. My nieces and nephews were thoroughly impressed and didn't want to leave. They made lots of use of the hot tub, loved the projector TV and playing the games. The property is beautiful and we appreciated all the amenities. The built in speakers throughout were a hit. Everyone had a great time and I would highly recommend staying here. It's a great winter getaway place and I can only imagine it would be great for summer as well.

Greg’s place is a perfect cottage: homey enough to feel comfortable yet special enough to feel like a treat. The view out the huge window is a lovely mix of sloped pathway/stairs, trees, lake, island in lake and more lake in the distance. The main room has the most comfortable couch and the 500 movies include something for everyone. We especially loved the wood-fired sauna down by the lake. I hope to stay here again!

Beautiful and peaceful lakeside cottage! We had a great stay. Host was extremely responsive and helpful. It was very spacious and had good amenities.

Josh and Alyssa are great hosts. They are friendly and responsive, and made our stay easy and enjoyable. Their place is set up well, with lots of things to do inside and out. Not to mention, their rates are very reasonable. I would recommend staying with them.

I can’t say enough positive things about our stay here. It was truly an escape that we got to experience. Great hosts, great place, great atmosphere! The only knock I think I have is that the photos do not do justice!! This place was homey and beautiful, not to say the photos aren’t that but they don’t do it justice! We will surely be back if we’re in Bancroft again!!

This cottage is fully equipped with everything you will need to feel at home during your stay. It is very cozy, clean and updated. They did not slack on the finishes, including large windows on the back for your view of the the beautiful deck that overlooks Brady Lake and includes a table for outdoor dining, umbrella, barbecue and hot tub! Lots of board games and outdoor games available as well. This cottage is also pet friendly and the owners go over and above to accommodate your furry friend(s). We had a fabulous time and made my birthday celebrations one to remember.

South Bay Cottage is truly a perfect and lovely lake getaway. Drive off the main road and into your own private cove outfitted with everything you need for a wonderful stay. Once inside, the view of Lake Stoney can be seen through the large windows from anywhere in the main room. The sunsets and starry skies were so peaceful - and even though locals told us it was unusual - we actual had an amazing view of the Northern Lights! We loved that this cottage included all the linens we needed and lots of areas to get cozy and read a book - including the extra-special gazebo. While the kitchen area is small - it is well equipped with everything we needed. Close to great hikes (Petroglyph Provincial Park, High Falls at Eels Creek, Warsaw Caves, and many others.) Also great to explore the area's great golf courses, Wanderlight Alpaca walks (a must do), Peterborough Pete's hockey, Peterborough theatre, and amazing restaurants in Lakefield (Loon, Cassia, and more). Melissa was a wonderful host!

Tracey was an amazing host. She checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed and when we asked if there was a way to clear off some of the lake for skating during our stay she helped us hire one of her neighbours with a tractor! Everything was perfect. Thank you for making our Family Day Weekend so incredible!

Our stay was perfect, chalet had everything you could ask for and more! We stayed for work so we didn’t get a chance to go to the beach, or play any of the ample board games, but the kitchen was wonderfully stocked and the shower had great water pressure! Could not have asked for a better stay!

Was very comfortable to stay at Thomas's cottage. We stayed with 4 adults and 4 kids in the winter. The sauna was especially nice. The kitchen was well stocked. Everything worked well and communication was great.

Tammy was the sweetest, most helpful hist to my parents. I booked this place for their 1 year anniversary weekend and they were in love. She left them a cute note and got them a bottle of wine to celebrate. They loved the space so much and felt right at home and didn't want to leave. Tammy thank you SO much for your hospitality and taking such good care of my parents. They will absolutely be back!!

It's a very cute and peaceful place to stay. It's surrounded by lots of foliage to ensure privacy, and I love all the small touches around the place. I would definitely love to come back in the summertime to experience all the trails and conservation areas.

Mihaela's cottage was a lovely little place surrounded by trees. Despite its location deep down the cottage roads, it took less than 15 minutes to drive wherever we needed to go (Buckhorn, Bobcaygeon, Kawartha Highlands Signature Park). The cottage itself was comfortable and clean, but we especially enjoyed the lovely firepit and jacuzzi 😄 Mihaela was also a responsive and understanding host, leaving plenty of clear instructions and responding to questions in record time. Overall we had a great stay and I would happily recommend this cottage to others!

Enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property, has everything you need. We stayed the week of valentines and couldn’t have asked for more. I could only imagine how perfect it would be in the summer with the water sports and many other amenities this property offers. Erika and Adam were kind and responsive and helped us with all our needs!! Definitely would go again.

Our family of 4 really enjoyed our stay during the last week of August! Some of our favourite parts of the place include: the canoes/kayaks that were available to use at our leisure, the check-in process being seamless, the essentials being provided (all kitchen supplies, beach towels, shower supplies), the other amenities (board games, BBQ). The place itself is quite beautiful. The dock with the chairs, the fire pit (even though we did not use) and the solarium were all stunning. I would just mention that it is a bit smaller of a place inside, so did find it a bit cozy and tight in the rooms. Also, the place is supplied with quite a loud window AC so sometimes it would get a bit loud/warm in the place. However, we would still give the place a 5/5 all things considered.
