Michelle’s place was clean and close to town. What a charming house. Michelle’s communication was terrific. She even left the lights on for me because I was arriving late. I would recommend Michelle’s place to anyone.

This home was beautiful and had all we needed. The yard is beautiful and has a great place to sit and enjoy the wonderful Spring weather in Redding. The host was quick to respond and helpful when I needed it. Parking was easy and it had a great location for what we needed during our stay.

This place is great, especially for the price. While it's just a 1 bedroom apartment, it feels much bigger than the photos show, especially the bedroom. The bed is super comfy and the bedroom doesn't share a wall with neighbors, just the carports, it's quiet. It's within reasonable walking distance to all the shops, restaurants, etc. The shower has the strongest water pressure of any shower I've ever been in. It's amazing. I'll definitely stay here again if it's available.

What a perfect getaway! We were two couples, two 1yos, and a dog looking to play in the snow for the weekend -- kinda complicated set of criteria. Scott's home was exactly what we wanted and more. Fun yard to explore, baby proofed, gorgeous views, very well stocked kitchen, and even free snowshoes! Plus Scott was so welcoming telling us the story of the house and leaving homemade jam. I can totally see us coming for more weekend trips over the years. And if the wifi were a little faster, it would also be perfect for longer remote-work trips.

We had a very enjoyable stay. The house is nicely decorated with attention to detail. Nice back and front yard, and a cozy house that is walkable to a number of restaurants

Beautiful home in a wonderful location surrounded by nature. The Mountain View’s were amazing, would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area looking for a nice scenic getaway.

This is an absolutely stunning lake side home that had every amenity for families to make treasured lifetime memories. My favorite was the huge picnic table on the deck where you could have dinner and watch the sunset over the lake. Rich, is the perfect host, so flexible and responsive with anything you might need. My parents, husband and I enjoyed day trips to Lassen, fishing literally from the backyard and the beautiful scenery that surrounds this home. Quiet and peaceful, it’s the perfect place to get away from the stress of everyday life. Many thanks for sharing your home with us, we will be back!

House was as described, we enjoyed that it was close to the river trail for nice walks, and in a peaceful area which was great with children. We had a great family stay! Communication with Hosts was quick, helpful and proactive.

We came up to retreat #5 for a mens weekend getaway and the house did not disappoint. The porch looks right over the lake with some great seating to sit and play games or eat and relax. The living, dining and kitchen are spacious and laid out in a way that keeps you focused on all of the sliding glass doors giving you that great view of the lake. There is plenty of room to spread people out in the 3 bedrooms and the decor is really cool. The water was only about a 2 minute walk from the house making it a great location. I would highly recommend this for a getaway.
