We had the greatest stay at Kosti’s ! He’s the best host we could ask for. He’s always available when you need anything, and makes sure for your stay to be as welcoming as possible. The sauna and pool are really nice to enjoy, and the location is perfect. The (then frozen) river next to the house offered us the possibility to watch wonderful auroras, and the proximity the Ounasvaraa ski station allowed us to enjoy it as much as possible. I could only recommend you to stay at Kosti’s place if you want your stay to be the best, and feel as a local.

Die beste Unterkunft in der wir je waren. Sie ist perfekt ausgestattet. Die Lage ist absolut phantastisch, nach Rovaniemi fährt man ca. 15 Minuten. Kari war immer super erreichbar und hat und sehr gute Tipps gegeben. Es ist auch die perfekte Lage um die Nordlichter sehen zu können.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à Rovaniemi chez Mari. Nous avons apprécié le confort et le côté cosy du logement et tout particulièrement le sauna qui a été le bienvenu le soir après une journée passée au froid Tout a été parfait, je recommande ce logement.

We recently stayed in Minnas house and it was just perfect. The house is beautiful inside and is very cozy and homely. It has fantastic views out the back looking over the frozen lake and there is a little hill down to the lake which the kids used for sledding (Minna had lots of sleighs left outside for the kids to use which was very kind). The location is great as its in a little quite neighborhood in nature but also only a short drive to shops and the centre. Minna is a great host and is very reachable and quick to answer any questions. Thanks for having us.

Séjour tellement paisible dans une maison très cosy, entouré d’arbres enneigés. Pas de vis à vis, quartier très tranquille et bien placé avec une voiture de location (place de parking privée, 5min du centre ville, 15min de l’aéroport et village du Père-Noël), à proximité d’une rivière (5min à pied) où nous avons pu voir des aurores boréales. Eliise est super accueillante et très disponible et sympathique. Tout était à disposition dans la maison (linge de lit, serviettes, gel douche, lave vaisselle, machine à laver, principaux produits pour la cuisine) Nous avons passé un séjour incroyable !

Sehr saubere und gute Unterkunft. Wir haben die Handtücher, Bettbezüge und den Whirlpool mit gebucht, alles war super vorbereitet und so konnten wir etwas Gepäck sparen. die Unterkunft ist etwas von der Stadtmitte entfernt aber man kann auch zu Fuß oder mit dem Bus in die Stadt gehen. Mikko war immer sofort erreichbar. Im großen und ganzen hat es uns sehr gefallen. Danke!

Very big space for our group! Had a very comfortable stay throughout!! Definitely will want to come back again.

très belle maison, chaleureuse. Bel environnement et paisible. On peut prendre un sauna et ensuite descendre les escaliers et nager dans le fleuve. Nous avons vu des aurores boréales le premier et dernier jour de nos vacances depuis le chalet. Le village du Père Noël n'est qu'à 30 mn du châlet ainsi que la ville de Rovaniemi. Hôte très réactive.

Cosy cabin is exactly that, warm and cosy. Our family of 2 adults and 2 kids enjoyed our stay in ounasvaara woods. It’s such a peaceful beautiful location in the middle of stunning walking trails. 5 min walk to a viewing point where we saw the northern lights. The cabin was equipped with everything needed for our 3 night stay, including sleds for the kids. Kaisa was a great host and very kind to allow us a late checkout.

Zalige omgeving. Veel genot van het huisje. De sauna is zeker een pluspunt. De eigenaars zijn zeer vriendelijk en helpen met alles. Ik raad dit huisje zeker aan voor mensen die gezellig een paar daagjes weg willen en gezellig van elkaar en de omgeving willen genieten. Alles is dichtbij en super rustig.

“Wunderbarer Aufenthalt in Maula” Wir hatten einen fantastischen Aufenthalt in diesem gemütlichen Airbnb! Die Unterkunft war genau wie beschrieben – modern, sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet. Besonders gefallen hat uns der atemberaubende Blick auf die finnische Landschaft und die Ruhe der Umgebung. Die Gastgeber waren unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie gaben uns tolle Tipps für Aktivitäten in der Umgebung und sorgten dafür, dass wir uns jederzeit wohl fühlten. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die Sauna, die ein echtes Highlight war – ideal, um sich nach einem aktiven Tag zu entspannen. Die Lage war ebenfalls hervorragend. Wie hatten das Glück mehrmals die Polarlichter sehen zu können. Wir können diese Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen und würden jederzeit wieder hier übernachten!

We stayed at Laura’s cozy home for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time at her place. Her lovely home had everything we needed and so much more. It was spotlessly clean with helpful info throughout to make us feel welcome. The sauna was wonderful. The location is beautiful and in the middle of nature, with many trails. We even saw the Northern Lights! Easy access to/from the City Center by bus. Grocery within walking distance. All communications with Laura were very fast, helpful and informative. She is a terrific host! We would definitely stay again and highly recommend!

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in der Unterkunft. Die Lage direkt neben dir Piste ist toll, auch zum Supermarkt sind es nur wenige Schritte. Die Kommunikation mit Minna lief immer schnell und zuverlässig ab. Wir können die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen:)

Chalet petit mais très bien aménagé. Idéalement placé pour un séjour paisible avec le centre et les activités accessibles à pieds.

Me and my wife Jude absolutely loved our stay here. The apartment was fantastic with the added bonus of a sauna and fantastic shower room. It was in a great location in the town centre, yet easy to walk out into nature which we did on a number of occasions one being to the arktikum gardens to see the aurora. We also walked for thirty minutes to the lappi arena to watch the local ice hockey team play which was fantastic. Lastly the just under two hour walk to Santa Claus village was great also. Huge Thankyou for an amazing stay that we will always remember fondly. Cheers Andy & Jude

Maison familiale avec tout ce qu'il faut pour passer un très bon séjour. La chambre pour deux enfants est vraiment un gros point fort si vous venez avec des enfants ; plein de jouets et de quoi les occuper. L'emplacement est très paisible dans un petit quartier pavillonnaire en périphérie de la ville. Quelques balades à faire dans le coin à pieds, mais Il est fortement conseillé d'avoir une voiture pour se déplacer plus facilement en ville ou plus loin dans les alentours. Le sauna dans la maison est aussi très sympa après une journée épuisante. Pour résumer, on a passé un très bon séjour dans une maison très agréable pour petits et grands.

I can highly recommen this beautiful AirBnB. For us it was an absolute dream come true. The house is big and has an amazing kitchen + living room with a home cinema. They were very kind with food and supplies. The sauna is also amazing! We even saw northern lights there on the first 2 nights. So lucky!! :)

Het was geweldig! Alle sneeuwspeelgoed die de kinderen konden wensen.brandschoon, heerlijke bedden! Jacuzzi was heerlijk! Echt een aanrader. Had er graag langer gebleven!

I had an incredible time staying at Svetlana’s cabin! The location was perfect and a short drive to Santa Claus Village and the perfect getaway place to Lapland. The space itself was exactly as described - clean, spacious, and comfortable. Svetlana was very tentative and checkin on us to ensure we got everything we need. She even notify us the Aurora outside our cabin!

We had a wonderful stay at Jukka and Heidi’s place! The house was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The instructions were clear, and communication with our hosts was always friendly and helpful. The location was great, allowing us to fully enjoy the beauty of Lapland. We truly appreciated the warm hospitality and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. Thank you, Jukka and Heidi, for making our vacation so unforgettable!

We spent 10 days in this beautiful house in beautiful surroundings. The magnificent lake closeby, the remoteness and still having Pello and Rovaniemi at a good driving distance, the quietness and every morning that lovely view from all of the windows, the sauna, the crisp morning air, ....we look back at a fantastic time : we fell in love with Pello-Lappi. Thank you Aini and Risto and Hanna, for letting us spend time on your property ; it was a privilege. Thank you for the personal stories you shared, for your kindness, your friendlyness. We would love to be back and see the place in an other season.

Unsere Familie (2 Erwachsene, 3 Kinder) haben unseren Aufenthalt im sehr grosszügigen und geräumigen Haus von Ville sehr genossen. Wir hatten noch nie eine besser ausgestattete Küche! Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, das Haus liegt im Wald, 3.5 km vom Ort Pyhä entfernt. Aufgrund der Fotos sind wir davon ausgegangen, dass das Haus alleine im Wald liegt. Allerdings hat es mehrere Häuser in nächster Nähe, aber die Nachbarschaft ist sehr ruhig und der Zufahrtsweg ist kaum befahren. Die Langlaufloipe ist rund 400m entfernt. In und um Pyhä gibt es viele tolle Winteraktivitäten. Ville war ein toller Gastgeber. Er war immer für unsere Fragen erreichbar und hat sehr schnell geantwortet. Ein Hinweis für zukünftige Mieter: in der Grundausstattung heisst es, dass Handtücher und Bettwäsche inkl. sind. Dies ist aber nicht der Fall und kann für EUR 30 pro Person gemietet werden. Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt und würden das Haus jederzeit wieder mieten!

Die Unterkunft war sehr schön am Fluss gelegen. Die Küche und das Bad waren sehr sauber und modern. Das Haus war abgelegen, sodass man Abends seine Ruhe hatte und ohne Fremdlicht Polarlichter beobachten konnte.
